Pros: We loved EVERYTHING about this property. This is probably the most immaculate hotel we have ever stayed in. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom had a bath and a walk in shower as well as a toilet and two hand basins. The air conditioning was effective and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was a nice balcony with a table and chairs. The WiFi was free and excellent. The on-site garage was perfect for parking our car. The swimming pool was excellent. The breakfast was all cold food but plentiful with a good variety and fresh. The owners are very helpful. The house and gardens are stunning and we loved every minute of our three night stay. Thank you Miguel and Marie Luz.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and finished to a very high standard, underground garage was a bonus for the parking and the property was very well appointed and in a quiet but accessible location close to the main motorway, we were very impressed
Cons: These are only minor points but we feel make a big difference, No tea or coffee facilities in the room or bottled water, only one small roll of toilet paper in the bathroom (not enough for 2 people), could do with the option of extra pillows in the room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very well kept, people very welcoming.
Cons: No drink facilities in the room. No general information regarding the property, i.e pool information.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice big house and big room with terrace. Amazing bathroom ;-) Free parking in the underground parking and a good breakfast. The hosts are both very friendly!
Cons: The matress could be softer... Also really missed a watercooker in the room. If these things are sorted out, I would give a 10 ;-)

This four star hotel in located in the centre of one of the most picturesque coastal town’s in the Mediterranean: Peniscola. It’s location makes it an ideal place to enjoy the sea as well as its traditional white town houses in the centre. 5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is very nicely decorated and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was very good
Cons: On the basis of the hotel having a restaurant and a bar I booked a stay with dinner, bed and breakfast. When we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed and that for dinner we had to take a voucher to a restaurant a short walk away. We were not impressed at all with the off site restaurant and would recommend that they train their staff in customer service! Also, connection to the hotel's WiFi was a long and slow process which could have been improved greatly if the receptionist on arrival had advised us properly
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms Good wifi Good breakfast Ample street parking
Cons: Charge for use of spa area Limited drinks selection before 6pm
10,0 Excellent
Pros: People. Breakfast. Balcony.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast choice was excellent, but the hot dishes were disappointingly cold. We did have to provide our own teabags. Our rooms were very satisfactory and warm. The staff in the hotel were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Checkout was quick and hassle-free.
Cons: We were not warned on booking that the hotel restaurant would not be open during January, and almost every local restaurant was closed also. We had some difficulty to find dinner venues. As our party included one with mobility limitations, this was problematic.
5,0 Okay
Cons: The bad was split into 2 parts and therefore moved as well as noisy. Not recommendable for couples.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, beautiful ocean view, comfortable bed, many breakfast choices, friendly and helpful front desk staff, free and secure parking, bathroom with plenty of room and shampoo/soap.
Cons: No light by bathroom makeup mirror.
7,0 Good
Pros: View from our room was very nice and the breakfast was great. The staff was relatively friendly and the location is great for the beach and nearby attractions like the castle. I had researched most options and am happy with our choice given our impromptu decision to stop in this city for one night.
Cons: Beds aren't great (two twin beds pushed together for a 'double) and the mattress is quite hard and the pillows were average. We found the dinner entrees to be fairly bad, although the starters we had were good. Given that I had to pay more for breakfast and dinner, I thought it was a bit too expensive for what you actually get quality wise.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely cozy hotel. Perfectly clean. Lovely views. Beach just in from. Awesome service. We are already looking to go back!
Cons: No aplica! Todo excelente!!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property. Characteristic and harmonious interiors. Plants and garden of value. Excellent free parking. Good breakfast. Great value for money and good memories of the place. It would be worth staying at least 2-3 days
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Cosi place very well maintained by very nice people
Cons: The room entrance door was very hard to open when unlocked
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a pretty Mediterranean style small building with lots of flowers. Even the rooms are white stucco. It has all the comfort that you could imagine with really fun showers. We rented two rooms, both with balconies looking at the sea and the old town. The view was very nice. So was the beach with beach chaise lounges and canopy for shade. The hotel had ample parking places in their own garden. The breakfast was good as well. The people couldn't be nicer at the front desk. We enjoyed our stay and were happy that we didn't book in a high-rise building. We would like to return.
Cons: Wifi was very slow, but since it was a vacation, we didn't mind it.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is literally a 10 minute walk to the castle & located directly across the road from the beach. The hotel had free car parking, good wifi & even a voucher to use the private deck chairs on the beach. Breakfast was amazing selection like a 5 star hotel assortment.
Cons: Really nothing to complain about, the front recetion staff we're so friendly & didn't mind I checked out a little after the 12.00pm genorous checkout time.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: As an old hotel it is well kept; it had plenty of old world Spanish charm about it with a clean room, great location and friendly staff. Beautiful place and not modern looking was a plus for me and my wife compared to other high-rise hotels on the same boulevard. Breakfast was amazing as it was better than expected with everything anyone could want to start the day included in the price of our stay. Unfortunately, our stay was for only one night but we will be back. Highly recommended.
Cons: Not a thing could be better.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfasts. Nice and clean rooms. Private beach with all the umbrellas and stuff across the street. Free private parking under the shade.
Cons: Wifi was disconnecting and asking to enter the login&pass every time phone or laptop was turned off for 10 minutes.
Hotel RH Casablanca Suites - Peníscola - Building

6,3 Good
Pros: The staff were great, Jorge at the front desk stood out in particular, he was very professional and a really nice guy. Michelle who works at the bar was lovely and very attentive. Rooms were very clean and spacious.
Cons: The room were very clean and comfortable but the sound proofing has a lot to be desired. We could hear everything that was being spoken in the next room and didn’t have a good nights sleep because of it. The food was average and we didn’t feel like we got value for money, I would eat elsewhere and go room only. Its a 20 minute bus ride from the main town so if you want to be in the heart of the town this isn’t the hotel for you.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very large room with large balcony and view of the sea.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: The doors to the bedrooms
7,5 Good
Pros: The front staff are wonderful. Great location.
Cons: Traveling alone, the dining room wait staff often asked me to take the small round table in the middle of the dining room. Being alone, I did not appreciate having to sit in the middle of all the families. I felt like everyone can see I was my myself, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I would have preferred to have the option to sit by the perimeter of the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay we had here. Great value for money, great staff, great everything!
Cons: breakfast saloon was a bit too crowded

Pros: A very warm welcome from the owner and a reservation in the restaurant too. For two adults and two children it was incredible value and a wonderful location
Cons: A whole apartment rather than just a quadruple room with everything you needed

Pros: Fabulous location inside the walls of the city. The owners were so welcoming they made us feel at home. Would love to return again.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The landscapes, lots of restaurants, beach was near by.
Cons: If you go with kids, being in the old city center, it's very noisy until very late in the night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice people to stay with. It was like being at a friend’s house. Great food. Everything was really comfortable. And it’s right inside the old city, close to everything.
Cons: Really there was nothing wrong. Everything was very accommodating

Pros: Both breakfast and dinner were smorgasbord and were excellent. Great choice of very good food. The location is excellent opposite the main beach. Most enjoyable but too short a stay.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, good mix of people and families.
Cons: No coffee or tea facilities in the rooms
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast ubication and price
Cons: I had two rooms reserved and when we had a problem and some of the people coudn't use the room the cost of annulation was all the money . No possibility of change of data or even use the room by another people. I only paid the room and receive nothing.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Charging to use sun beds in a 4star hotel seems a bit strong. Cleaners come straight in the room every morning which wakes you up if your not up by 9am.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Parking stalls were a good size, reception staff were warm & friendly
Cons: The room was cramped with dated decor. The food was atrocious, at best. The only food available was at set buffet times. It was mostly inedible. After requesting a drink in the bar which was listed on the menu, the server had to go to the bartender and ask what it is. He said they had it so she brought me the oldest, musty dubonnet I had ever seen. I couldn’t finish it. After “breakfast “, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. This hotel is not up to booking.com standards.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. Although not on the beachfront, the hotel is just a short walk to the beach and the old quarter. It is in a quiet location. The tariff includes breakfast and dinner and both exceeded our expectations. Served in a buffet style, there was a wide variety of hot and cold choices.
Cons: The hotel car parking is quite small. I was pleased that many cars had already vacated when we left, which enabled me to turn around and drive out without a problem.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING!!!!!!! The hotel was immaculate. The food was amazing. Good Spanish cooking!! The deserts were out of this world. Freshly sqeezed orange at breakfast Great location - very short walk into the heart of the town. Large Consum supermarket 3 minutes away. Comfortable bed with white linen. I cannot wait to return.
Cons: Light switch on head board. Easy to knock on in middle of night.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great pool and area around pool was amazing. Room held 4 of us comfortably, in a place like Peniscola you don’t want to spend much time in your room anyway. Great location, close to a grocery store and a 3 minute walk to beach.
Cons: Breakfast buffet
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely welcoming hotel where guests are truly spoiled with amazing buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners at incredibly reasonable prices. Very comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is in a quiet location and the beach and town are barely 5 mins walk away. The hotel has an attractive pool and sun terrace. We have stayed twice and plan to return next year.

7,9 Good
Pros: Location is perfect if you want to spend time in the old town and go to the beach. Stuff was friendly everywhere. Hotel is old style but clean.
Cons: Towels been not clean( or if they been clean they had some brown marks anyway) and smelled weird. Breakfasts wasn’t that great but you could eat at list toast and fruits ( bakery’s been from the shop and not very fresh)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Service was awesome and location is perfect! Everything was clean, just an awful smell from the bathroom
Cons: Horrible smell in the bathroom, but you get used to it
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location- the hotel is in a prime location. Close by the Castle. Grest breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom did not have the facilities to cater for elderly or physically challenged persons. Whilst internally the hotel had an efficent elevator one had to negotiate the 5 external steps up to reception. The hotel does not have any dedicated parking spaces so one has to take a chance with the public parking availability which can be both expensive and inconvenient.
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location right next to the old town. Clean and quiet. Comfortable beds and a nice balcony.
Cons: It wasn't easy to park as close as we would have liked, the room was a little dated in terms of decor.

Pros: Great location. Comfortable hotel
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a 20' walk from the centre of Peniscola, but it's in front of the best part of complete sand beach. You can literally go to the sea, cross the beach and have a shower in your room. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and we got a super nice room with a beautiful view, giving us the chance to admire the sunrise from our bed. Amazing stay.
Cons: It is indeed a 20' walk to the centre, however the beach was better in this location. The rooms could be a bit better soundproof than they are.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The wifi could be better
7,5 Good
Pros: Good attention, cleanliness
Cons: There’s no room service

7,5 Good
Pros: Location good as was the food in the restaurant. The staff were also very good. the room was a bit basic for the price and there was only a thin sheet to cover the mattress for hygiene I would expect a proper cover. No in room tea making facilities.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: Good location, friendly stuff a very good value for the price
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The owners were great and accommodating. The hotel staff was efficient and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and reasonable. Great breakfast too.
Cons: Not much that we didn't like. Only improvement would be the mattresses. They were uncomfortable at for us.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on beach. Really friendly staff and good food. So good we are going back
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, beachfront and a comfortable walk to the old town and castle, and it has a very good bar and restaurant (the paella is especially good). Our room was very comfortable and spacious, had everything we needed and also offered a sea view. What more can you ask for? However, what made our stay exceptional were the management and staff. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome and valued and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had booked for 1 night but enjoyed it so much we stayed for 2 (and wish we could have stayed longer).
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and location. Terrace eating lovely maybe only in the hot months though.
Cons: Double or triple cooked chips. Lack of duvets! Not on these days. With ac on the bed cover needs some weight!

7,1 Good
Cons: Very poor buffet. Breakfast and dinner was not good. For 25€ per person in Spain you can eat better at all
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing. Great facilities and lots of space. Great detail in the decor
Cons: Towels could have been bigger and fluffier. A minor point
7,0 Good
Pros: location and comfort was good.
Cons: Lack of food variety and the fact that we could not get bacon and fried eggs every day. The food and plates were very often cold. Ran out of things like muesli and marmalade easily. Most meals consisted of bland boring tinned food. Evening meals started too late.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location right on the beach. The hotel itself is very nice. The foods good especially in the smaller restaurants.
Cons: Nothing to complain about, although the bathrooms look a little tired.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Clear room, good place. There is place to go for a walk with baby.
Cons: There is a scam if you take number with breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is more expensive than breakfast and dinner, but, because you check in after lunch and check out before lunch (and you are forced to do so), you are unable to have lunch. Anyway, during dinner we were unable to buy any drink, we wait for more than hour, but no one came to us, but staff come to almost all other table (as i saw, they don't come to people who don't speak Spanish). That was really disappointing. I didn't expect that your nationality will matter on quality of service. And there was really many people and it was almost impossible to get food. Most of dishes was empty after 30 seconds of when they was refiled. And guy on reception didn't tell anything that is available in hotel, and because of our car was too height, we ask us to find place to park our car by our self in the city. It was a bit challenging, but the issue was the same - he couldn't describe the option in English because of poor language knowledge.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good location is the middle of no where
Cons: the place is a cruise ship stuck in the sand , if you like family cruises please book the place otherwise stay away
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff is very friendly. Clean and big comfortable rooms well cleaned every days. Great location, kid liked the evening shows. Easy and big parking facilty. Nice foods and package in all inclusive.
Cons: wifi did not work in the rooms and bars / restaurant. Mostly usable in the hall. Strict process and time slots to change lunch / dinner place as well with ordering lunch boxes. The beach in front of the hotel is not sandy and water very deep after the first three steps. Only for swimmers.

Pros: Location Fridge Balconies View
Cons: Room a bit small
5,8 Okay
Pros: Loved Peniscola, wonderful views from the area around the hotel
Cons: No Air Conditioning and although value for money I would choose elsewhere if I was to visit Peniscola again
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The old town of Peñíscola is really beautiful and Casa Juanita is an integral part of this. Easy to rea h, lovely views and lots of restaurants and bars very close by.
Cons: No hairdryer
6,7 Good
Pros: The hostal basically met our expectations, especially as the price was inexpensive compared to other properties fairly similar. The location, accessible on foot only (so be prepared to roll or backpack your luggage up the cobbles) was not that far from the parking area below the castle and promontory. (We parked in the large lot near the fair and festival rides.) Casa Juanita is right in the oldest part of the walled fortress making it a scenic location, but earplugs might be needed if you need sleep before 1 am.
Cons: Unfortunately, after nearly a month of travel we had our first lodging disappointment here. The directions given to me via email from the proprietors was not clear and was somewhat misdirecting. If not for our persistence, we would have circled the building 3 times and not been sure how to get in. (push the buzzer on the intercom and then they come down to meet you - there is no front desk). The noise from the street and other guests made sleep a little difficult. In addition, we are pretty sure that this was the place where my husband got bed bug bites.

Pros: Central location, but parking was very difficult. It didn't help that the underground car park on the seafront was closed. The breakfast was good, with a reasonable choice. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Recommended at the price.
Cons: The main problem is the lack of parking.
6,0 Good
Pros: Location, price and cleanliness are the only positive of this hotel. My rating would be higher if anyone there had been able or willing to communicate with us.
Cons: The bed was terrible, room was very small. We stayed 2 nights, and were told on arrival that there was no breakfast, even though it was included. Disappointed with lack of staff at reception. Lack of welcome, we felt like we were intruding.

Pros: We have stayed there 9 times already, always on an overnight stay travelling to or from Belgium to Andalucia. Excellent price for quality. Spacious room on the ground floor, very convenient when traveling with our pets (dog & cat). Personnel very welcoming, especially Elena who seems to do reception, serve meals, reservations and any other service required. Thank you.
Cons: Not applicable.
