9,6 Excellent
Pros: Property is very impressive- nice caring staff, great rooms and excellent breakfast
Cons: There were many teenagers waiting for VIPs to arrive. They were screaming when someone famous arrived.
7,0 Good
Pros: As we visited Milan by train the location was great for us: just crossing the street from the railway station. The building is nice inside and out and has a very cozy lobby, the rooms are also nice and cozy . If pool, sauna, gym are a must then it's a good place to be - otherwise it's not really worth it.
Cons: Most disappointing was the breakfast: the tea was coming in plastic bags (instead of paper, cotton or just the plant itself), the fresh juice came with plastic straw in the glass, no organic coffee was available. Way overpriced for what it offers. The days after, we just had breakfast in the city. It is nice that there was water available in the room but would of been nicer to have glass bottles instead of plastic ones... It's a shame that a hotel chain that should set a trend/standard on the environment topic doesn't set itself apart from a 3 star hotel...

Pros: The staff is the main attraction here, they are super friendly and helpful. They all made sure everything was up to our requests, helped us book taxis for travel around the city, took care of our luggage, provided every little detail we asked. Another plus for the hotel is that it is VERY BEAUTIFUL! Their bar area is spectacular!
Cons: The mattress was a little hard for me, and pillows were not as comfy as I am used to, though it's not a minus for the hotel, as I have a specialized bed at home and anything other is not so comfortable to me.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful interior and super staff ! Special thank you to General Manager Stefano Risolè ! Traveling for my 50th Birthday with my mom, girlfriend and 2 kilo dog , everyone at the Chateau Monfort Hotel made me feel like a Princess! We are finnish , living in Holland. Starting from the pick up at the Linate Airport to the wellcome drink in the lobby and info over how to get to places , the FANTASTIC cappuccino ’s best in town , the always happy/ smiling / beautifully! dressed staff ! , PETFRIENDLY with dog pillow / bowls etc in the room! All with so much care for the detail ! And real attentiveness is when you donot have to ask for things but they have already been taken into account by staff ! For us this stay exceeded our expectations ! Hope to return soon! Also loved the extraordinary interior with beautiful decorations, fragrance and lighting of the Hotel. A must is to take the tram 9 , next to hotel, to Navigli for dinner ( The Venice of Milan , many restaurants on a canal) just 15 min. Buy your tickest from stores called Tabacchieri ,just 7€ per 24 hrs ! And you can walk 15 min to see the Duomo Cathedral ( much too busy to stay at a hotel in that area !!!) plus the famous Mall Vittorio Emanuele. And or walk ( 25min) or take tram 9 to Milan Central Train Station and take train to Lago di Como lake !!! Just 5€ and 45 min trainride ( direction Lugano) . At the Lago di Como 200 meter walk to small town with view of lake, cable cart up if you like or boattrip or just sit at a café and enjoy view. Closeby the Hotel walk to the luxury streets of Via della Spiga ( 5 min) and Via Montenapoleone , for seeing all the luxury italian brand shops. Opposite the hotel also supermarket and the really nice California Bakery!!! Café for breakfast or lunch. The breakfast at the Hotel is a MUST at least for one time if not every morning!!! Has 10 different fruit/ vegetable juices , delicious scrambled eggs / pancakes and cappuccino s !
Cons: Nothing , everything at the Chateau Hotel and everyone working there is just Perrrrfect!

Pros: Location was great if you need to be near the central train station...just an easy two block walk away. Also, easy access to the Metro which takes you downtown for only 1 1/2 Euro. Rooms were small but neat and clean
Cons: tiny elevator and tiny shower, (although these seemed to be somewhat common in many hotels in Italy). Also, room was on the small side.

Pros: The overall experience they let you feel like home
Cons: Please improve the internet connection is poor
9,3 Excellent
Pros: A great true five star hotel. Excellent and knowledgeable concierge. Location is outside of the Montepoleone shopping district so a nice oasis to come home to at pIazza Republica. Great part was frequent Benz stretch limo pickup and drop off from the hotel to La Scala/ Duomo and Montepoleone area -- that was extreme helpful with kids. Had an upgrade which was appreciated and not asked for. Breakfast were absolutely excellent and included in our price. Champagne, full hot foods and fresh fruits and pastries. Will definitely be back!!
Cons: My only minor tif was pool was closed for renos. Minor and everything was to our or beyond our expectations.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Christmas decorations and Santa Clause Room was amazing! Thank you!
6,0 Good
Pros: Excellent check in from Sergio - he was engaged, warm and extremely hospitable. Hostess service at restaurant also excellent. Well sized rooms. Excellent location, within walking distance of La Scala, the Duomo and shops.
Cons: Hotel didn’t feel 5 star. Stale nougat at turndown (it was so hard, you couldn’t eat it), no fruit or treats on arrival. Concierge was sarcastic and not engaged in providing good service. I was also left unattended at both lobby (drinks) and breakfast room.
7,0 Good
Pros: Old world charm
Cons: No Kettle no in room beverages like all other hotels!! Would very much prefer walk in shower than a bathtub!! Shower fittings on the bathtub is dated and needs replacement.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Shuttle service to shopping area (very convenient when carrying a lot of bags) close to train station, delicious breakfast
Cons: Spa at hotel is overpriced and has mediocre spa service, otherwise hotel is fantastic!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing service, incredibly thoughtful staff, and beautiful surroundings are expected at this hotel. 5 star service, 5 star price. Make sure you work out a way to include breakfast, as it is expensive, but divine. Be wary about the high valet prices. Overall, you pay for what you get and this property does not disappoint.
Cons: High valet prices.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very good bed, lovey old hotel and perfect location.
Cons: A few more USB sockets, breakfast was good but not fabulous although I love the Barley coffee...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hotel, old world charm mixed with grandeur - wonderful lobby and bar, the drinks and service is excellent, as a solo traveller I felt very comfortable and well looked after. Service throughout the hotel was top notch. The room was very spacious, the most comfortable bed and large bathroom, all decorated beautifully, there was even a little balcony to step out onto if you wanted a spot of fresh air. I sadly didn’t have time to test out the restaurant as I went to the ballet at La Scala instead which is only 5 minutes walk away and Piazza Duomo a few minutes on from there so perfect location to explore Milan. The gym was small but functional with a few weights and machines, be good to add some yoga/floor mats.
Cons: Breakfast was ok - a decent selection to choose from from buffet style or made fresh to order but not really worth the €35 euro price tag, I would instead take the short walk to Oya. Only issue I experienced was the food in the bar, perhaps I picked the wrong thing in having a panini but it wasn’t great considering how great the hotel is in every other aspect.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
6,0 Good
Pros: Completely outdated hotel interiour/outside. Should not be acceptec as a hotel "Leading of the world"
Cons: Need refurbishmend inside/outside immediately.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfection, no less.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: Small TV’s for the room size. Overpriced for quality of the room.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: - Location, location, location - Design - Cleanliness - The vast majority of the staff (please see other section for exceptions) were extremely friendly and well intentioned - The fact that when I did complain, my comments were taken seriously and were responded to immediately
Cons: - The breakfast: far too expensive for what it is, not too many options, not always good quality. Also, missing items were not replenished fast enough. For me, the worst (especially on the second day of our stay) was the attitude of the staff. They did not seem to care - it took them 25’ to ask for our coffee orders and I had to get up and pour water into our glasses myself, because no one volunteered. At these prices, this is simply unacceptable. - The fact that, upon our arrival, both at the building’s entrance and at reception no one volunteered to take care of luggage. At a 5* hotel and at these prices, really? - However, would like to stress that both the duty manager (when I described the luggage issue in response to her question) and another manager (when he read my response to the hotel’s e-mail questionnaire after our departure) contacted me and apologized profusely. This turned what was a bitter experience in something more positive. I would definitely give them another chance.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Staff were extremely helpful.
Cons: prices can be better, rooms don't have enough space.

"My page" room customisation in advance. Tea and cofee in the room. Cold drinks in the fridge. You can buy Milano Card and transport tickets at reception.
Cons: Milano Card sold out. Some reception staff keep you fell like you visiting some council office-like they give you a favour by serving you and you need to sick to their rules :) -they smile only when you smile first.

Pros: It was a pleasure to stay at Berna Hotel in Milano. It offers excellent service and nice clean rooms equipped with all the necessary things. There is a Tv with plenty of channels in different languages. There is a kettle in the room - so you can always have some tea, water and coffee are also available in the hall. It really quiet in the room and no noises would disturb me while sleeping. Breakfast is offered every day from 6:30 to 11 a.m. and it’s really good, such a variety of food! I would like to thank all the hotel staff for being so professional and friendly! Especially the lady at breakfast - always so helpful and nice! I would certainly like to come back here again some day.
Cons: N/a
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great location and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: I was amused by the two single beds but not at all put out by it.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I got a complementary panettoncino in my room for the second year in a row, always a lovely finding! <3 The room was very clean and comfortable. It is possible to choose what type of pillow one wants :) Two persons from the hotel were very kind and extremely helpful to my friend who had a problem with a broken window of his car. Most of the personnel is very kind and welcoming, although there are few exceptions (see below).
Cons: My friend had a problem with his car and we had to use the hotel's parking facilities. The person who received the car said the car was "destroyed" which was not true, it simply had a broken window. I think the person from the parking lot could reserve that kind of comments not to make more distress, as it was already difficult to deal with the broken window... Upon arrival, the guy from the reception didn't allow my friend and I to drop the bags to my room, he said only the main guest is allowed. I understand they would be suspicious if it is night time, but common it was lunch time, we were only dropping my bags! Also he could say this in a more friendly way and not with such grumpiness.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy to reach from central train station and metro. Fantastic breakfast buffet - everything you want and more!Super friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Our double room was pretty tight and too full of mirrored walls, but the bathroom and shower were large, there was a beverage fridge with free waters and sodas AND room to store that leftover pizza slice or two.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful people, clean room, and good breakfast. All the drinks from mini bar were free, and they even offered free mineral water at checkout.
Cons: The room was small, but it was OK considering the price.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Free full breakfast Happy hour
Cons: Not close to I'll Domo Room very tiny

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Always a wonderful experience to stay there, great location near Central Station, very comfortable room, excellent breakfast and excellent price. Top quality staying!
Cons: Nothing, everything was great
7,0 Good
Cons: Even though I paid the full amount a couple of months in advance, they locked the amount on my credit card at check in, and it's still not released 3 weeks after. Even though the staff is kind enough It seems like they are paid low with commissions for what they can sell. It started at check in, where they say for only 30 euros more we can give you a room with better view. It is very annoying. On my roundtrip this Christmas holidays I visited 11 hotels. This is the only one I won't come back to.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very close to the Central station, safe to stay and clean environment. The breakfast is a bit expensive as 12 Eu though the quality is quite good.
6,0 Good
Pros: Excellent location; cleanliness
Cons: Vibration from underground trains; negligence of the personnel in the restaurant - on 4 January at the breakfast salami cuts were not released from casing.

Pros: Modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. Close to station centrale. Love the rain shower. Wished there was a bath in my room.

Pros: Location, staff, rooms ,dog friendly and a great breakfast. Always the place to stay for me in Milan.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very modern and nice decorated. Situated outside the Milan city centre, there are trams that stop opposite the hotel, but metro station is a 10 min walk. The breakfast is very good and the staff very helpful! The rooms are spacious and well decorated. I will definitely recommend this hotel.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and cosy room
Cons: Room was fairly small
7,1 Good
Pros: I liked the lobby, you can spend some time there eating candies (provided by the hotel :) The breakfast looked interesting, but I only had coffee, because 19€ per person it sounded a bit too much.
Cons: The room was small and the AC was loud and had no “turn off” function. And although it worked all day, it was quite cold. Another weird thing was the fact that you have to pay a deposit (similar with the room price) for each night you spend there. I’m still waiting for mine, although I left the hotel a couple days ago.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect service, very good breakfast, nice and cozy restaurant.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location is very good as just 100 m away from tram stop. Hotel interior design is very modern and stylish. Bed and pillows were very good.
Cons: Corridors are very narrow, shower appliance in bathroom was badly fixed. Hotel bar is not a really inviting place.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Spacious lobby area, nice little garden. Food in the restaurant was nice.
Cons: The wellness centre is so, so disappointing. Small, uncomfortable. Just a small whirlpool and a steam room (no Sauna!), rest area in between the pool and steam room with hard bench only. The nice resting area with cushions at the other end of the spa centre were reserved for massage most of the time, the first day we used the spa , just after we lie down for relaxing, were chased away because they have people came to do the massage. The second day we went there the whirlpool was most time out of order with dirty water inside! The room we booked was not as the nice as the photos we saw on the booking.com, interior looking very old. Triple bedroom was very packed. All in all not recommended.

There is no way to get lost in the city of Milan with the help of the concierge and the metro station which is right next to the hotel. I enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub which added to the comfortable and relaxing stay at the hotel. Since there aren't a lot of things to do to Milan one euro from the hotel will allow you to see the whole city. THIS PLACE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Spend your vacation in luxury.
Cons: I loved everything .

Pros: Very nice hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and in good condition. Comfy beds. The location was no problem since it is very close to metro station.

Pros: The position of the hotel was great!
Cons: The quality of the room service food was very poor. The breakfast was poor sa well especially considering that costs 40 euros / person. Our room ( a junior suite) looked quiet old, it didn’t look fresh at all. Our phone didn’t work properly and the bathroom scale didn’t work at all. The temperature of the room was awful ,as well. We didn’t manage to get a nice temperature ( or super hot or cold) and it was really dry, in fact we didn’t sleep well. The bed was made by two different beds , one was slightly shorter than the other.

Cons: Very small room. No soundproofing. Very noisy coming from the streets.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and nice room. Great staff. Conveniently located not too far from the city center and close to the main train station.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: A modern stylish looking building in the middle of a average area of the city, walking into the hotel entrance you can sense immediately this is going to be a rather nice hotel. The decor is a contemporary style to a good standard. The front desk staff we're welcoming and professional. The rooms are very comfy, usual amenities you would find in chain hotels. Comfy bed with good quality linen, fluffy towels. Very clean and high ceilings give you the feeling of space even though the room is not overly big. We were lucky enough to have a balcony, not much of a view but it's still a nice touch to its charm. The breakfast offered Many choices and was displayed beautifully, choices such as scrambled eggs, pastries, fruit, cold meats, cheese, cereals, hot drinks. the dinning rooms, lounge and outdoor terrace were filled with comfy seating .Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure.
Cons: Not much choice when it comes to English language TV channels, but I wasn't planning on watching too much TV during my stay there's far more to see in wonderful Milan. I've read how other guests have not liked the noise from outside, well I agree it can be very noisy, but we are in the middle of a major city after all. When we first entered the room the heating was on fully, but I turned it down opened the window for a while then the room became more comfortable.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Decent location given the price.
Cons: WiFi access speed was extremely slow. Walls were paper thin, with noise from other guests in the hall way and adjacent rooms throughout the night making for poor sleep.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located at one of the excellent locations in Milan. It is just next to the metro stop on bustling street. The room was decent sized-- with all amenities in place. There was a small sitting area facing the main road (which I could not use since it was raining). The staff offered me umbrella every time I went out.. A nice fitness area is a plus.
Cons: The staff at fitness place was missing. could be better to have someone around, or if not then to place detailed instructions-- to avoid confusion. Though it's a very minor point.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was in a great location on the town piazza, walking distance to the train and bus stations, clean, had English speaking television channels, surrounded by great restaurants and shops, and offered a great breakfast.
Cons: The gentleman behind he front desk was not friendly nor helpful. He acted put out with any question we asked. Our tv remote did not work. The woman at the front desk sent someone to fix it and we were able to get an English speaking channel until we turned it off and then it wouldn't wok again.
7,0 Good
Pros: Beds were very comfy. The spa facility was very nice and relaxing. The fact it was free to use was a nice perk. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Cons: A little dated decor in the room, but didn't spend a lot of time in there.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean hotel hotel, spectacular panoramic rooftop terrace, most conveniently located in central Milan off its main shopping street. Very welcoming and proactive service. One small tip, make sure to ask for a courtyard room or one facing Via Ozanam if possible as Corso Buenos Aires has intense traffic so rooms on that side may be less quiet.
