Pros: This hostel is probably twice as much as other hostels but very worth it. Everything was clean and it was quiet. One of my favorite things is that the bts train is literally outside. You just need to walk up the stairs and there it is. As a side note, if you are looking to be social and meet other travelers, this probably isn't the place for you. Everyone closes their curtain and at times it is way too quiet.

Cons: Don't have anything negative. If I ever go back I will book this place again.

Pros: The hostel located right under PhayaThai BTS Station Exit 1, so great location for Airport Link.

Pros: Location was great as it was just 3 mins walk to Phaya Thai Station. Breakfast was simple and not too bad, there's a cereal bar and toast bread that you could enjoy anytime of the day except from 4-5am due to preparation of breakfast. There is even a hot tub, but it did not look very clean to enter The deck is a very pleasant area where breakfast is eaten, friends can gather to unwind There was usb charging area with a tv in front of the sofa at the front desk.

Cons: The family room is the only 1 available room that can accommodate up to 4 people. Thus we booked it. The towels were stained We could hear people walking past and talking from our room Hot tub at the deck did not look too clean to enter Aircon temperature set at 19 degrees but was not cold

Pros: The location was good, just in front of National Stadium BTS. Also nearby famous attractions like Sea World and Madam Tussauds. Very near shopping malls if you’re into shopping when in Bangkok. The staff are very friendly too. Also, you have everything you need for your stay as they have washing machine and dryer available for laundry. As well as flat iron for your clothes. And freezer if you need to store food.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Breakfast was ok, though I wouldn't mind Thai food for breakfast. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Accomodation is not suited for guests who like hotel double beds and the likes. At Lub d it's bunks (though they have private double rooms), so if your expect high class amenities, look elsewhere. For everyone else you get a good bang for your buck. Lub d is located right next to MBK Mall and National Stadium MRT Station, so you can get anywhere pretty fast.

Cons: The onsite drinking policy could be less strict, though I understand the managers probably want to keep away hordes of plastered teens. For us older folks who like to enjoy a cool one in the evening, it would be great if there was a room for this - maybe an age limit (25+) would do? Also (but this is of course my highly subjecive view), rooms should be equipped with fans rather than air conditioning, this would be way less energy intensive.

Pros: The place is in a great central location. The staff was very friendly and available to assist with everything. Will definitely stay again.

Pros: good location. no hidden cost. allowed me to change room without additional charge. spacious for 4 beded rooms. and locker room fit enough for my two backpacks . cannot fit big luggage

Cons: The noisy night gathering and loud music of the Eatery at the premises on Friday and Saturday night. You'll need ear plugs to get a good night sleep.

Pros: Since I’ve stayed in Lub d in Patong and samui I was blown away by everything!! So I thought why not book in bangkok...big mistake!! It’s outdated, dirty, mould in the room! I was extremely let down considering the other two branches I visited were nothing less than outstanding on all levels! In Siam, the Location and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Consistently ensuring that guests are happy. The staff are saving this place!

Cons: It’s dated, dirty, old, needs urgent renovation. Dorms and Bathrooms need a good scrub..

Pros: I specially love the bathroom and the location.

Pros: This establishment was designed as a hostel and it shows. everything very professional, from the in lobby internet to outlets at every bed to the best showers I've found in any hostel.

Pros: The staff there are amazing ! Very friendly , helpful and always with nice smiling . The all with passion on their work ! No matter what question you have . They'd love to help you . And their english are really very well!! (not only english) Atmosphere in these hostel also very nice . I really like the open public area in this hostel . You can meet some good people and shared travel experience. can also play some table games here . They even have travel agency , can help you make your plan or give you some nice advise . combined with some nice element in here that's what I like . Location nice , between 2 pier . 20 mins walk by to BTS or train station . very closed to china town . 24 hours security , safety box and luggage storage. and Drinking machine .

Cons: Door of shower room have damaged . look not so nice . Color of the dorm-room not very attractive , but comfortable :D Mosquito ...but actually they are everywhere XD

Pros: As usual, the location is fantastic and the staff lovely. I think I will look for a quieter place next time, since I could barely sleep despite earplugs.

Cons: The aircon rooms are much more noisy, because the windows don't close properly and are just a layer of glas letting in all the road noise . Also someone was smoking in one of the other rooms/outside and it got into the room despite closed windows.

Cons: In my last review I wrote that the shower in the lady dorm doesn't really differentiate temperatures. Didn't change since then. But it also doesn't bother me too much.

Pros: I am so comfortable with the bed, the place is located near the shopping district, and things that u need u can easily buy it everywhere, there is a lot of restaurants nearby too....i will definitely come back!!!

Cons: SO I HAD MONEY STOLEN FROM MY PURSE, ABOUT 10000 BAHT, WHEN I WENT FOR A SHOWER. IT WAS A 4 BED ROOM WITH 3 PEOPLE( INCL ME) IN IT. WHEN I ASKED TO CHECK THE CCTVS THEY SAID THE CCTVS DID NOT WORK SO THERE WAS LITTLE I COULD DO. STRANGELY THE NEXT MORNING ANOTHER PERSON FROM THE ROOM HAD CASH STOLEN FROM HIS WALLET WHEN HE WENT TO THE SHOWER. THOUGH THE GM OF THE HOTEL WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO ACCOMPANY ME TO THE POLICE STATION , THEY REALLY SHOULD HAVE ENSURED THAT CCTVS WORKED. REALLY RUINED MY HOLIDAY AS I WAS STRAPPED FOR CASH.

Cons: This has to be possibly one of the worst hostels I've stayed in. The small security box had no batteries for the lock and they refused to put any in them, the bathrooms were so disgusting that we tried to avoid them as much as possible, the top floor was ridiculously hot and the cleaners took over the commune table so there was nowhere to sit outside the dorm.

Pros: I like the location, near to the BTS station

Cons: We were assigned to rooms at level 5 and 6 without any lift facilities. the rooms didn't even have drawer and cabinets available. we have to share bathrooms with other rooms and the bathrooms are located either 1 floor up or 1 floor down. I can say that some of our plan of walking around the town were cancelled because of the staircase issue.

Cons: -Situated on sixth floor with no elevator -No communal area, located on top of a thai massage parlour two doors away from the Glur coffee shop -Had to wait an hour past check-in time for beds to be ready

Cons: The bed was not comfy at all, the air conditioner was so hot, I've stayed so many hostels, but this place for me one time only!!!

Cons: Staff was absolutely incompetent! We came to the hotel and got better room than we had get, so we were happy. The other day we should have breakfast, but the staff told us that we don' t have it. We let it be, because of the better room. However in the evening about 8 p.m. came staff to our room and told us that we have move from our room because we didn't pay for this room! I was very angry because nobody told us day before that we will have to change room. So we packed our baggage and waited for staff, who promised us that help us move.But nobody came, so my boyfriend went ask what shoud we do and men who worked in the hostel started argued, because nobody from them doesn' t want carry on our baggage. It was absolutely unprofessional behaviour! I'm frequent traveller and I have never seen so lazy staff. I can' recommend the hostel.

Pros: Very strategic location.

Cons: The water in the comfort room gets clogged. No elevator since our room is in the 6th floor.

Pros: Location is very near to BTS Taksin bridge, just only 2 mins walk. In front of the hostel is Robinson department store, and it surrounded with local market and local Thai food stand.

Cons: The staff had no eagerness, or warmth welcome to guest. If that job is not his/her duty, they just keep me waitbor give me nonverbal signal to the right person. No smile. It would be more impress if at the 1st time you show the guest where is the room what is facility available for your booking type. I had booked eco room type single room with shared bathroom, but that floor had no toilet it is quite nonsense and inconvenience. Even there was a notice plate "pls do not urinate on the floor", but when i took a bath i smelled urine from the floor that made me feel disguting, uncomfortable, and unhygienic. On a dormitory floor, there was a set of bathroom and toilet. Pay less get full option. A/C remote did not work at the 1st time. My room was on the 4th floor so i had to walk down to tell the staff, she had no choice to go with me and she 1st thought was user error by not put key card in the place so electricity wont run. Common baby, so annoying. Then she came with me and check and found that it was the remote that didnt work so she replace new battery for me. This problem will not occur if the staff haf check every room facilities b4 the guest come.

Pros: Very presentable entrance, the interior of the lobby is interesting.. I can also note a rack-dryer for clothes in the hallway.

Cons: In such a horror from visiting hostel, I have not been ever! First: When I came to my room, it looked like someone spent a stormy night on my bed - everything was turned upside down. I had to go and deal with the administration. After that I were given another bed - this bed was made, at least. Second: When I tried to sleep, I found bugs crawling all over the bed! These were ticks and bedbugs!! They crawled everywhere and biting! I tried to throw them out of bed, and at the one moment accidentally I crushed one of them - he was full of someone's blood!! Just awful!! I was very tired and it was very late already - I had to stay here until morning. It was one of the worst nights of my life! Third: abominable shower with rubber curtains that stick to the body when you try to enter it ... Terrible dirty feeling. Administration, remove these rubber shower curtains! And you must do a clear-out at your hostel!

Pros: I like that the place is in the middle of most of the place that we wanted ro to go. Its a strategic place

Pros: Everyone was very nice, and the place was kept in very clean condition. Nice location next to the BTW skytrain. And the #1 bus will get you directly to and from Wat Pho.

Cons: I didn't like that the "privacy" curtains for the beds left a foot wide gap at the bottom. They wernt very private. I didn't mind personally as I enjoy the open air hostels, but the curtain makes the dorm room less social than if it was fully open. It was somewhere between social and private that I personally didnt like. They also have a restaurant on the first floor, but it was too expensive for my backpacker budget.
