The place is lovely and the staff amazing. The only minus are the really small dorms.
Free luggage storage was amazing! Such an asset to be able to leave the big bag and go for a side trip without having to lug it all along. Thank you so much! Also, the breakfast was really decent. The homemade jam, fresh bread, and yogurt were a huge step up from the whitebread toast and margarine that most hostels offer.
So many mosquitos. It made it really difficult to be in the yard after dark, and the small common room was monopolized by 2 people all of the time.
I loved the quirkiness of The Yard and breakfast was delicious. The staff were helpful and the lounge was nice. Loved the location of Ari.
The perfume diffusers in the room were too overpowering and I felt I had a head cold when in the room. Sadly it’s a young person’s hostel and I found it quite lonely at times.
Really well maintained. Complimentary brekkie was nice to have. Very communal vibe, mostly solo travelling, always had someone to chat too. Transport links are great and lots of cool places to eat and drink in the area. Good that it’s linked to a couple of other eateries just next door
We so loved hanging out there.. makes you just wanna be like as if you’re staying home
Could be tidier
