Pros (+) Location was great. Amenities were great. Mountain views were wonderful. Staff was exceptional. Ambiance and attention to detail at this hotel was very attractive. Waffles on the free breakfast. The hot tub, sauna, and cold showers were a nice addition and very cool how its laid out like a cave. Underground parking was nice to have.
Cons (-) Housekeeping was somewhat lacking, the walls seemed very thin as you could hear other guests quite well, quite a bit of road noise if you have a facing room to Banff Ave. and bed comfort was not all that, but all very minor complaints...the overall trip/stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again

Pros (+) Great location on Banff Avenue, walkable to downtown and local sights. Hearty breakfast selections, though scrambled eggs would have been nice.
Cons (-) The upstairs loft was too hot to sleep, even with a fan, though downstairs kept cool. Water pressure in the bath was too low to keep the shower on consistently (shower kept shutting off by itself). Breakfast area was a bit cramped.

Pros (+) Under ground parking, good when to door temp is -10F
Cons (-) To expensive for such SMALL room, we came with 4 carry ons and one large suit case for skiing clothes, NO ROOM to place suit cases, this rooms are the smallest rooms ever! Breakfast included, very basic and mediocre products and choices. I will never go back I do not recommend There are lots of better locations and better looking places closer to down town.

Cons (-) Small room (couldn't find space to open even 1 suitcase comfortably), noisy (the open courtyard concept trapped and encouraged guest noise to echo), no parking in underground lot after about 10:00 at night, uninspired, meager breakfast, no air conditioning. Almost makes me want to revise my rating downward!

Pros (+) We liked the location, it was clean and the amenities were good in general.
Cons (-) For the price we paid we were suprised that our room didn't have AC. In the middle of august, it's really warm and we did not sleep well. Room was small but clean. Breakfast is included but you have to pay for eggs and bacon!

Pros (+) Hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. Double beds were comfortable. Hot tub area was great after a long hike. Parking garage underground was convenient. Within walking distance to town. ROAM bus transit a plus to use if needed.
Cons (-) We were in Banff during an unusually hot week with no A/C in the room. The room had 1 small window to open. They did provide an oscillating fan. Rooms were small compared to others. Breakfast was disappointing. No pool for children, only hot tub.
