we like this hotel!!!
I discovered I had paid £30 more than my friends for exactly the same accomodation and food! Even though I booked online.....
Staff very pleasant and helpful and food was good
Noise - this took the form of invasive loud music in the bar and diningroom - a noisy party of guests being allowed to use the diningroom for a meeting when we were having a meal - people banging doors at 01.00 - 02.00 & 04.00 am as well as music from the function room at midnight.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location for walking to shops and restaurants. Good parking.
We asked for 2 bottles of water for the room. The bar man had none in stock so went to the store room. 2 very small bottles of water cost around £6.80p. He could not find any larger bottles to offer value for money.
Sight seeing, took in the racing on sat night, spent sunday in ayr & went down to Culzean Castle and Girvan on the Monday
Had a couple of problems with the keys for the room
