The staff in west palm beach were exceptional. The staff in Roanoke, I felt as if I was talking to a robot. She apparently read from a script with no exception for human emotions or even questions. I was not told of the additional fees charged; ie retrieval fee of 50$. I was unaware there would be an entire days fee for being 7 hours late and feel that should have been prorated . The vehicle was passable even with the broken sensors ; no cruise controls, no being alerted to a vehicle in the blind spot, as well as others. Due to the emotionless “customer service “ in the drop off facility, we will steer clear of Avis in the futureReviewed Jan 7 2026

Overall great, some of the inside floor mats weren't the cleanest, and seemed like there was barely any windscreen washer fluid so was difficult to clear the rear windscreen once ice had melted, as the wiper seemed to leave murky streaks.Reviewed Jan 7 2026

They wrongfully charge me for a scratch I didn’t make. I showed them a video I took of the whole car before the pickup, but no one answered the email or phone. They just sent an email saying they found a scratch, and will charge me $500 for it and went ahead and charged my credit card. Had to go through a process of dispute with the credit card company. The issue is that THERE IS NO INW TO TALK TO on Avis side. You can imagine how frustrated that isReviewed Jan 4 2026

Experience was mediocre at best. Was redirected at booking payment to QeeQ.com and was never offered insurance. When I picked up the car I wasn’t offered insurance and was told it was through the third party booking. Never again !Reviewed Jan 4 2026
