Hotel & services fully met all expectations.
As expected from Internet information the area down the road from the hotel was not the safest - I saw drugs being openly prepared for use on the street. The street market held at the junction, throughout the Sunday, was what you'd expect in a poor community. However, I emphasise the hotel is good in its own right.
It was cheaper
The room was absolutely appalling. From the moment we walked in we couldn’t breathe due to the stuffiness and smokiness. You could tell the people before us smoked A LOT and it felt as though they barely cleaned the room or even aired it out. The bathroom stank disgusting, barely any space to shower. Such a dingy grotty room and the service wasn’t great either. This is definitely not worth your money. Please just pay that extra bit to stay somewhere at least nicer than this. It is located in a bad place as well 35mins drive from airport and taxis are very expensive! Really disappointed with this place but I guess that’s what you get for €50 for 1 night. Never again.
The room was quite small but considering we were only there for one night it wasn't a huge issue. If I were to stay longer than this I would have expected more space as there wasn't really much place to move about. That being said the staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful, they took time to help us when we needed it and they also watch your luggage for you when you check out. Location was great, only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Athens and also the local bars but not a great place for an individual to walk back to on their own.
I wouldn't say I didn't like anything as it was pretty cheap, so you get what you pay for. The room sizes are small, you cannot really move about much so they work for anyone looking for a quick stop over for a day/night.
The personal was so nice and helpful
The location it was not good. The suburbs are bad
Very good location. Close to metro station, in the middle of the city. Nice roof terrasse, can see Acropolis. Breakfast was good. Shampoo and soap was offered for free.
Shower space was really small which is quite uncomfortable.
