Pros: Beautiful property - exceeded our luberon expectations. Lovely owners.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful rural property. Close to many landmarks of Provence like Roussillon or Gordes or Saignon or Lavender fields, etc. Very good breakfasts ;-) Mr Eric and his wife are very good hosts ;-)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay, have nothing to complain on! One of the best breakfast we ever had (even homemade youghurt), beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff. Calm surroundings with lavender fields and vineyards, we stayed to nights and would very much recommend it!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautifully decorated with lots of little courtyards to relax and eat or drink. We had access to a shared kitchen which was really helpful and the ‘honesty’ wine fridge is a great idea :). The views are breathtaking and the hosts extremely helpful and friendly. A wonderful find
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The villa. Beautiful, with lovely plants, rooms and facilities. Simple but nourishing breakfast, had the best croissant. AND the swimming pool... you can see the entire valley from there, honestly there is nothing else I would have wanted. I also would like to stress the villa is in the middle of the country side, close to Villar, Gordes and Roussillon.. but it is isolated, quiet, in the middle of nature. We could have not asked for a better place. I fall in love with the colourful blinds (that you would encounter everywhere in French country side and Provence) and the personal touch Eric and his wife have given the villa. I felt it contributed to being immersed completely in French culture and lifestyle, very local vibe and touch.
Cons: Maybe the mattress was a bit too hard. But honestly, that was a minor thing and I guess a very personal opinion.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was perfectly charming. The hosts are wonderful, kind and so helpful with local knowledge. The breakfast was excellent. The pool was great. We loved it most of our entire trip!
Cons: We loved it

Cons: Wifi could be better

Pros: The room was excellent, very comfortable and clean with large king size beds. Guests are able to use a small communal kitchen, fridge and TV etc. Breakfast is lovely, served outside in the garden. The host is very approachable.
Cons: The driveway, the last stretch is not very well sign posted (apparently they're not allowed to put them up as its a protected area?!?) and not ideal for low cars. Outside was stunning in terms of scenery but the garden doesn't get direct sunlight for breakfast or in the evening.

It had everything we needed. In the evening we made the short walk into Apt centre and again were not disappointed. There are some great restaurants , bars and shops. Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel in a former mill. Very well situated I Lourmarin. A beautiful, comfortable room.
Cons: No facilities to make tea or coffee
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts were a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The croissants are baked on the premises and the best I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The waitress was friendly, as were the reception staff. We had a lovely large, well appointed room which overlooked the cafe below. Lourmarin is a delightful village, one of the prettiest in the Luberon and one steps out of the foyer into the village. Highly recommended!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Le Molin de Lourmarin is a perfect spot in a perfect Provencal village. The old stone building only has 8 or 9 rooms; it is quiet; and the location in the tiny village allows you to step just outside your door for amazing shops and dining. Lourmarin has a wonderful weekly market, and the hotel is just a few meters from the market!
Cons: Nothing could be improved. It was perfect.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the rustic French style of this boutique style hotel (which is actually quite large but doesn't feel like it) which is in a great location with some gorgeous views across the French countryside. Rooms were small but charming and the bed and bed linen super comfortable. The hotel has a lovely courtyard restaurant where we had dinner one night - the food was exceptional and the setting very romantic. I thought the food was very good value for money and the servings were extremely generous. All the staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very attentive, polite, and very responsive, from the cleaning gals to the front desk to the restaurant. The building is an old olive mill so the layout is a little quirky but works nicely. The A/C works reasonably well even during very hot days. Rooms on the village street side can be loud with people going by but windows are efficient and tune out the noise. I would stay there again and recommend it unless you need a pool.
Cons: The general seating area of the hotel could use some A/C on hot days.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were very helpful in sorting out an issue with our booking. Once sorted we enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights in Lourmarin. It is a stunning village. We look forward to returning one day.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The pool was wonderful, awesome to have such a big deep pool in the heat. Staff were very helpful
6,7 Good
Pros: Hotel is fine for a short stay, but is relatively basic
Cons: Staff spoke very little english and was not super friendly. The fan in the room had not enough power and really AC should be standard given the high tempreature in the summer. The facilities were pretty basic. Cleanliness could also be improved
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly welcome, lovely location for walking in the Luberon. AC was welcome in the heatwave (unfortunately too hot for walking on one of the days, spent almost entirely in the room). Breakfast was home-made. Beautiful views from the balcony. Worth paying for the upgraded room (not all have AC).
Cons: Might have liked a fridge in the room. Breakfast a little costly for what you get.
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The balcony was very private and the bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and there was a very good but basic Relais within walking distance which provided a splendid meal for a moderate price.
Cons: Noise from the traffic started quite early. The hotel had all the basic facilities but needs tlc. No offence to the staff, who were lovely, but I wouldn't want to stay here again.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool

Pros: Staff very gently
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel decoration is super cute - The rooms are quite big and with a small balcony - The staff/owner is really welcoming - The breakfast is fresh and tasty - The pool is quite long and you can actually swim in it - There is a huge outdoor area to chill or have some food - The bedding was really comfortable, we had one of the best night of sleep - Close to Gordes / perfect for an overnight stop during a road trip
Cons: - Luckily it was not too hot during our stay but there is no airco so that might be a problem during heat wave.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, easily found and yet the centre of Apt is readily accessible. Helpful staff. parking
Cons: To suggest negatives would only be picky
9,2 Excellent
Pros: My second time staying at L'Aptois. I like the hotel as it is easy to park and in a great position for walking around Apt. My room was basic but nice and clean with plenty of space. Some rooms don't have air-conditioning which wasn't a problem for me, but bare this in mind. Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach, this is a great base for exploring the area.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, great location (at the entrance of the old part of town), free parking available across the street. Staff very friendly and helpful. The receptionist spoke French, English and German (we didn’t enquire further). The room was lovely, spacious, nicely decorated and with air conditioning.
6,7 Good
Pros: The room was clean and location is good, but the place is not really suitable for sleeping. The lady at the reception asked in the morning if her colleague offered us a smaller room with AC and separated beds instead (she didn't), and as appology she gave the breakfast for free.
Cons: There was no AC in the room, it was very hot and the fan was not a big help. The walls are so paperthin, that you can hear every single word said at the corridor. The noise from the street came also into, we woke up from dreaming at dawn as the street cleaner car went by. The bell of the church nearby shakes the walls.

Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Auberge du Luberon places you in the heart of Apt, a 1-minute drive from Cathédrale Ste-Anne and 9 minutes from Bruoux Mines.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place was extremely amazing, and Jerome and his staff are so very nice and helpful. We intended to come for 1 night but my husband got very sick on the night we arrived. So we had to stay an extra night and both Jerome and Manou and Michael were SO nice and helpful trying to call the doc for my husband and being helpful and respectful - bringing up his breakfast and also trying to help us as much as they could - Jerome also made him dinner and gave us tea, and also recommended and introduced me to a very nice local restaraunt. I really think this is so important, people caring for you - and we really appreciate it- not only is the hotel a beautiful gem (I literally felt like Hemingway taking care of Fitzgerald if you ever read "A Moveable Feast" ) it's so historic and quaint with the most amazing view from the balcony. Peaceful and I think definitely the place to stay at least for a night if you ever come to Apt, which you should. Jerome also runs a very nice tapas resto and wine bar downstairs. I had some food there nad it was very lovely. Highly recommend and I will remember this place. MERCI guys. Anna & Greg
Cons: nothing it was amazing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The Auberge is a friendly and relaxed place to stay and is excellently located. The breakfast was lovely, and our stay including breakfast and a light dinner each evening was terrific value for money.
Cons: Light luggage is preferable if room located on the 2nd floor as there is no lift. In reality however, there is nothing not to like about the Auberge.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very central location. Most staff were bilingual which was helpful. Air conditioned room was great as it was very hot. Very helpful staff who responded quickly to requests.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy auberge, nice staff, we felt very welcome. A good place to stay in Apt. Make sure to taste the Tropezienne from the nearby boulangerie!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is so lovely and accommodating. He helped us with finding some places to visit which were great. The rest of the staff was also really nice
Cons: Na
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The charming hotel style. The big room with window looked across the river to the old town. The huge bed and sleep quality. The owner's English communication skills. The proximity to the old town. The free parking at the adjacent to the hotel public parking lots.
Cons: No wifi on the date we stayed in the hotel (the owner assured that it was a one-time failure). No kettle in the room.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is tastefully done with a lot of Provencal features that make the place so quaint. Air Con was a saviour as we were there at the time of the heat wave! A good place to base yourself for a regional visit. Staff were all chatty and helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location. Gerome is a fantastic host. Couldn't fault it. The wine offered downstairs is superb. All-in an amazing experience.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The tapas à la française evening menu, the traditional French provincial hotel style and a very comfortable bed. The owner's approach to his business was most encouraging.
Cons: The bedroom decor was a bit 'in your face', and the en suite was past its best (but the owner was well aware of this, and apologised). It was a bit alarming to find the hotel locked up on my arrival -- but a dodgy start to my stay soon changed to a most enjoyable experience.

Pros: Secluded
Cons: Too much Thay food
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Slow service
Cons: We hurried to arrive before 10 pm check in. We were shown to our “room” which was the family room.. not what we had booked. Next we were shown a double room which had a view of the roof over adjacent building covered in tarps and plastic. Last we were shown a room very basic and told we could have it for less. My wife remarked that it looked terrible .. that we were interested in what we booked. We were then told “you’re not welcome here”. We travel constantly for pleasure this owner ranks with some of the worst.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean, modern and had a/c. The Thai restaurant on the property was excellent!
7,5 Good
Pros: Good budget hotel, room was clean and did the job. Restaurant is outstanding though as well as the surroundings.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and the place generally too. Really quiet and the most comfy beds ever. Big plus for the air-conditioning too. I slept so well. 10 min walk to centre and only like 200m unpaved road, I walked to dinner in the centre every evening. Somebody complained there is no service for the hotel. I found this no issue, there is always somebody around and you just need to ask and they help. Got a cold beer, water and a bicycle - just had to ask. Everybody working here is very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The natural pool is really not a pool and you do not feel like dipping in. Otherwise the area with loungers and garden was amazing. So quiet, I loved it. On Friday I had the whole place for me.

Pros: Excellent breakfast buffet and tasty evening meal. Very well maintained and clean swimming pool. Ample safe parking always available. No noise disturbance at all. All the staff were very helpful, thank you
Cons: We would have enjoyed a little more menu choice for the evening meals, but this is only a suggestion and not a complaint as what we had was delicious.
4,5 Okay

Pros: Clean room
6,7 Good
Pros: Nice swimming pool. Plenty of parking although very dusty causing soiling to carpets in car. Didn’t like having to go out and buy a bottle of gin because the hotel hadn’t any. Claimed that they had never been asked fo gin and tonic!
Cons: Very inadequate storage in bedroom for clothes. We were unable to unpack one suitcase or hang clothes up. Had to repeatedly request replenishment of items of food at breakfast. Poor quality fresh fruit - told “it is now the grape season” but plenty of fresh fruits in markets we visited
7,5 Good
Pros: Restaurant on site with fresh seasonal meals. Closed on Sundays unfortunately but we ate there on our first night. 28€ for 3 courses. Breakfast buffet had great choice, recommend getting there early before the pain au chocs go! Nespresso machine & normal filter coffee. Room was comfy. Loved the Easter treats that were left on our bed by housekeeping! Staff very helpful providing us with lots of free maps for cycle route inspiration.
Cons: There was no bar so no where to chill out other than your room. In warmer weather there is outside space however I'm not sure if you could get a drink outside meal times.
