Bed extremely comfortable. Stunningly beautiful hotel with the most beautifully tended grounds. Bedrooms were gorgeous as were the views. The hotels main priority was their restaurant and the guests who ate there. If you did not eat there then you were pretty much invisible. There was no bar, drinks menu, facilities to have anything to eat other than lunch or dinner in the restaurant. It is a 3 Michelin star restaurant and it is their sole priority. We were never approached by any member of staff over the two days to ask if we needed anything. When we asked for coffee we were told they would need to check if possible!!! When we asked for a drink we were told there was no menu as it’s only for the restaurant!!!! So I asked for a glass of Rose to be told sorry but they keep it for the wine pairing in the restaurant!!! But I could have red or white, but could not bring me a menu so just had to say I’ll have a red with no idea what I was getting or even how much it was!!! Then we were never approached the rest of the night to see if we wanted anything else. When restaurant guests came out to the lounge area they had attentive staff providing coffee and drinks. We felt very much like we were intruding. Such poor service for a 5 star hotel. I think they should only offer a dinner bed and breakfast rate then you would get the attention you deserve. The staff were never rude, just totally narrow minded and focused elsewhere. Breakfast was superb and very high quality foods used. So unfortunately I could not recommend this hotel to stay in. Such a shame.
No Attention from staff. No bar. No bar food or even any snacks.
When we arrived , it seemed difficult to have any food....They are a hotel! Eventually we were told we could have some cheese. I found the whole hotel rather pretentious and not good value for money.
Lovely hot tub bath in the room and beautiful swimming pool and tub outside.
Felt very uncomfortable in the restaurant , no other drinks available other than champagne ! Just too posh for enjoyment . My husband and I have a very wide palette but neither of us could stomach our main dish . We paid a fortune to eat in the restaurant but came away feeling very disappointed. Always happy to pay any money for an enjoyable eating experience, which this certainly wasn’t .(there is a lovely bistro just up the hill!)
The room is beautifully designed and spacious , staff are very kind , the hotel itself has glorious views .
Stunning room great facilities very friendly staff
The dinner at the restaurant was very vague we didn’t know how much it was per head or even how much drinks cost, we felt slightly pressured and here wasn’t much flexibility with what was served
This cosy hotel is in Annecy. Visitors will enjoy a peaceful and calm stay on the premises, as it counts with a total of 10guests rooms. Those who dislike animals may enjoy their stay, as this hotel does not allow pets.
