Pros: Cannot say enough about how great our stay was here! We extended our stay by a day we loved it so much. The prices were very reasonable. They checked us in 2 hrs early with zero hassle. All of the room supplies were included. While not exceedingly spacious, everything about the room and hotel oozed modern style. There was interesting literature on the shelves. The beds were clean and comfortable. In the lobby was a hip restaurant with delicious and affordable faire which we frequented almost every day, and at night became a popular bar until 1 am. There were many other places to eat, shop, or stroll past from the Hoxton's central location, but it was far enough removed from the main tourist areas to feel somewhat local. I would recommend this place to anyone except maybe those traveling with children, as I believe they had to "cheat" to fit us into a single room, and we are smaller than your average humans as it was.

Pros: Spectacular experience, I loved the vibe and design of the space. All finishes are high quality and products they give you in the room smell fabulous . Breakfast is also excellent. It’s the small touches like having smooth jazz playing in your room when you walk in, I cannot say more positive things about it.

Cons: My single room was tiny. It was impossible to see the television from the bed. In the evening, the lobby turned into a very crowded and noisy nightlife venue. Because of the crowd, it was difficult to get in and out of the hotel. Would never stay here again.

Pros: The hotel and my room were nice. The staff is excellent,helpful and accommodating. I had a very pleasant stay here.
Cons: The hotel is a good distance from the city center. I think I remember reading ~ a 30 minute walk but it was more like ~50 minutes. Using public transportation, Ubers or taxis is a must.

Pros: Fabulous location. I walked everywhere. Easy to catch the Conexxion shuttle bus to and from airport-5 Euros! Staff helpful.
Cons: Room is soooooo tiny. Compact-like the size of a king sized bed-only that the entire room. I managed and I was alone. if I had booked for 2 people it would have been interesting.

Cons: I had room I room down hall and opposite side of elevators, but I could still hear the elevators. Pick a room further away, hotel is well worth visit - however, they do get their price.

Pros: The rooms were small but well appointed. The staff was friendly. Best of all the location is away from the tourist craziness yet near many attractions and a great place to begin exploring on bicycle.
Cons: The wine in the room was disappointing in quality and price.

Travelled with wife and son expecting a room with an extra sofa bed but they gave us a penthouse suite with separate sitting room and excellent views. Breakfast has great selection and the location, although not in center Amsterdam, is right next to the Bijlmer Arena station. So convenient to catch the train to Schipol or the metro to Amsterdam center.

Cons: It was very dirty and smelly. The room had not been properly cleaned- it was dusty, the bathroom was mouldy and there was garbage under our bed. There was a mouldy, musky smell in the entire hotel, from the 2nd floor and above. We paid quite a bit of money to stay in this "4 star" hotel, but the hotel was no more than a 2 1/2 star in my opinion. I would note recommend staying here.

Cons: Had booking confirmation in-hand. Manager asked a ton of questions, asked me to email her the confirmation, wasted a half hour till she finally told me the reservation cannot be honored because their reservation system was already closed, meaning they overbooked and refused my reservation after I already showed up at the hotel. They wasted my time. They were rude. They tried to blame me even though all i did was book online. They provided no assistance in getting a different room in the city. Awful experience. BE CAREFULL ON BUSY NIGHTS, THEY OVERBOOK.

Cons: We ordered some eggs Benedict with the breakfast buffet, they were not good. Good eggs on toast, but instead of ham there was a bitter cooked spinach mix and the sauce had no flavor.
