Pros (+) Amsterdam is so small there is no reason to stay in the middle of all the touristy stuff. This place was in a quiet area, yet close to everything. Clean, comfortable, with helpful staff. Did not try their Japanese restaurant but it was packed every night and apparently has a good reputation. I would say this is a more "grownup"/sophisticated hotel. They rent out average bikes, which are a few € mo...

Pros (+) Location, staff was very helpful. Bath products and bedding was very nice.
Cons (-) Outlet for coffee machine didn't work, had to make coffee in bathroom sink. Top floor room was designed poorly with very short ceilings in corners and hard to access outlets.
