They tried to scam us out of $2500. They said we were on the do not rent list due to prior car rental damage. The Alamo dept. that handles do not rent issues was closed. When we did get a hold of that department they took us off the do not rent list. No explanation of why or how we even got on the list. Scam. Had to rent with a different company. After landing, I went to the Alamo line and waited for an hour and a half in line until it was my turn. It was not reasonable. They had one worker behind the counter and he would go behind the door for about 10 minutes and then return. This happened continuously. I will never book with Alamo again in PortlandReviewed Sept 1 2024

A rolling empty beer can in the back, film of tobacco smoke making the rear window impossible to see through, same for the front windshield. Apparently the manager wanted to issue some refund on my credit card upon the return, but that never happened. Plenty of apologies though...Reviewed Aug 17 2024

Pros:Nothing. I canceled my reservation at the kiosk.Cons:I was given 3 cars to try. The first car wouldn’t turn on and was filthy. The second car had brakes that sounded terrible. The third was filthy. The clerk was rude and short with me. She said those 3 terrible cars were my only options. Yes, including a car that wouldn’t start.
