Pros: From the moment I stepped in the front door, staff was very welcoming and genuinely interested in why I was staying in Aiken. We had a nice conversation all the while staff was processing our check-in. The check out was equally pleasant and a great recommendation was provided about eating downtown for lunch.
Cons: View from room was overlooking an apartment/condo complex.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facility was Really nice! The bed was comfy! The Customer Service was good! They have an indoor pool, although we didn’t get in.
Cons: The fruit on the breakfast bar was not fresh. I was very upset that I was unable to get my points for this stay! The Rep who checked me in did not recognize me as a Marriott Reward member, and therefore did not point out a sign that was up, regarding their program. I found the door tag in the room and I hung it out way before the 2am deadline. I was told that because I had the “Do Not Disturb” sign behind the Reward card, they would not give me my points for any part of my stay! I asked again before I left. I am quite upset about that because I did was I was supposed to do.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and bed was actual comfortable. Continental breakfast was typical but good.
Cons: The pool was closed the whole time during our stay. We were in the area for a baseball tournament for one of my boys. We dragged our other son with us for the weekend. The main thing he was looking forward to doing was using the pool. He wasn't happy.

She spoke English, but she just had a blank look the whole time Then we my husband went out to smoke it was 4:30am and doors we to be unlocked at 4. She looked at him like he was asking her to do something unusual, and then lock it behind him so she had to come around and unlock the door again. Cons: It wasn't a bad place, but it wasn't terrific, either. Breakfast was average and pretty minimal. The condition of the room wasn't perfect...some scuffed furniture and a wall lamp that didn't work...but not horrible. Some repainting had been done and there were paint drips on floors, bath fixtures, etc. Towels and toiletries were absolutely minimal. One day our room wasn't cleaned well; we found hairs on the bathroom sink and tub after cleaning. Bed was comfortable but a bit squeaky. Apparently so was our neighbors, as we could hear them "enjoying themselves" at 2:30 a.m.

Pros: We had rented this room for our wedding weekend. The only wonderful thing about this hotel was the exceptional housekeeper who was very sweet and attentive to what I needed help with the morning of the wedding.
Cons: The king suite was not near big enough, hardest time checking in that we have ever had with a hotel & the location was hard to find. Just not the right fit for us. Won’t be staying here again.
