Transfer in Doha was not easy. We didn’t have any breathing room and we had to rush. We had to a bus for transfer and another bus to board the connecting flight to Chennai. That was bad approach and difficult for older people to climb the steps.

Great crew

Boarding was fast.The airplane was small, and was shaking in the the sky a lot.

Airlines lost all my bags and is not being helpful at all in tracing them. Value of baggage is over $25,000. I expect a full refund and expect to be compensated for the loss.

The service is top notch, and they really make you feel valued and comfortable.

We had to place our iPads in checked luggage for flights from harare to USA as we went through Qatar. *** I asked for quiet seats and was given seats near kitchen and toilet even though I booked in hours in advance. One leg had my ten year old daughter and I in different rows even though I checked in 4-5 hours in advance Of flight . ** staff moved my hand luggage without my permission and without informing me - it was stressful trying to find it."

Loved the entertainment system at all seats. Every seat had headphones. Meals on all flights. Longer flights had a little plane package that included eye mask, slippers, anti-slip socks, toothbrush and toothpaste, and lotion. Free wine available for all meals. Overall, a great way to fly!

We are vegan and that can mean just tomato sauce of penne pasta on some lines. This was more innovative choices. And they kept it straight in amongst all other passengers meals. It was no big deal to them. I liked that. The service was pleasant. The movie selections were enjoyable. The temperature was kept comfortable on an 11 hour flight. That matters for that long

They ran out of small bottles of water, with the flight 5/6 full. I also did not like that announcements were really loud through the entertainment system. I had to lower the volume several times. The meals could be improved as well. Staff was very responsive.

Delayed 3 times and keeping saying people to sit down. No clear lines or clear instructions when checkin or boarding. Rude staff. Great pilots though. Experience some lost and found situation at IST. The worse nightmare ever. Staff keep sending me to different people: information desk to lost and found inside gate then to inside TK desk then TK send to outside gate lost and found saying go through customs. Customs say no goes there etc… after 1.5 hrs finally able to find the right lost and found. What make things worse is noone offers to take the luggage. We found someone stuff with passport and we just trying to give it back… why made things so hard on us

Just average experience. Business class seat layout is less than par. 2 3 2 seating. Little outdated. The lounge at JFK really doesn’t exist. (Avoid JFK at all cost) But the lounge experience at Istanbul made it up. Overall average.

Cons: "The level of service by the cabin crew was really disappointing. One of the flight attendants asked me to switch seats with the woman seated next to me (although I had pre-selected my seat). I obliged, although I think that the cabin crew and/or gate agents should have given more thought to giving her a better seat assignment, like a bulkhead seat. This woman was uncommonly large with mobility problems, so it was difficult for me to get up when I wanted to. The entertainment system malfunctioned about an hour into the flight, and I had to flag down a cabin crew member on 3 separate occasions to ask them to look into it. No one ever bothered to follow up or attempt to resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the entertainment system is connected to the entire electrical system, so I couldn't use the "call cabin crew" button, or the overhead light - meaning I was stuck in the dark for HOURS. Only after I demanded to be given another seat did anyone do anything, and with zero apologies."

Too many bad experiences. First, I couldn't get seating 24h prior to flight because they wouldn't reviewed Covid documents I sent 24h prior. An hour layover in Seattle was inadequate to get from my previous flight to the next. Getting last minute tickets and seats, almost missed the flight from Seattle to London. Once in the plane, the crew had no information about us and other people were also given the same seats. Service was poor. Lastly, our luggages did not arrive, I hope they could be delivered to our address tonight. Very stressful experience!

We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."

Cons: "The food was absolutely appalling on both flights... We received a cheese snack. It was an old sesame seed bun ,with a very thin, small slice of cheese which you could hardly taste on it. With that they placed cucumber, that does not add to the taste of the dish, but only makes the bread soggy. There is also a piece of lettuce on that is past its crunchy freshness it is supposed to have. The last ingredient is sun-dried tomato that was the only ray of light for a poor effort of a snack by BA. I can truly say that during the past year BA's in flight food service on local flights, are on a downward spiral and almost in the dumps."

I do not know what caused this delay other than Kenya Airways staff having seemingly no urgency to get us off the ground. On my return flight to Kigali a delay attributed to “operations” increased my layover from 8 hours to 12 hours. On top of the scheduled delay we were delayed an additional hour because boarding did not begin when it should have. I was also less than impressed with the movie selection on the plane. I will not be flying with Kenya Airways again and now understand why they were the cheapest option!"

From our several interactions, we received no apologies, but felt that the theme was that everything was my fault.. not the best feeling as a customer. Only my one chat with the supervisor was very nice. She was very patient, sat down with me and helped direct my concerns. Especially with a 13 hour delay. Nairobi seemed great, but our interactions with the staff really took away from our experience. And we missed our vacation in the end.."

My ticket had 4 legs : Nov 28 due to leave JNB at 1:20 finally left at 8:30 due to NBO runway closed from plane belly landing - the pilot was very apologetic - LATE. Dec 5 NBO to Entebbe was an hour late due to "passenger problem and luggage taken off" - LATE. Dec 10 Entebbe to NBO left an hour late due to "plane arriving late" - LATE. Dec 10 NBO to Johannesburg was an hour late due to "technical difficulties" - LATE. All 4 flights were at least an hour late leaving and arriving yet the pilots all said thanks for flying Kenya Airways - the Pride of Africa. This is what Africa should be proud of ?!? and Kenya Airways is proud of ?!? Passengers I talked to all were negative in their comments about Kenya Airways. All said there is ALWAYS something of a problem on a Kenya Airways flight. Lady on NBO to EBB flight next to me as we boarded plane and I said everything has gone smoothly so far, replied - the flight isn't over yet - and then we sat in the plane for an hour while they "removed passengers luggage". A man in NBO departure area as we waited to board JNB late flight said, the procedures and organisation are terrible with problems most of the time, which was why he was using up his reward miles because he didn't want to fly Kenya Airways again. This is the culture of this airline which is allowed to continue with seemingly no regard for the paying customers. If the powers that be such as the FAA, imposed a $100 credit to each passenger for late leaving or arriving, I would have received $400 back on a ticket that cost $750. Maybe the airlines would do something practical to remedy their problems and care for the paying customers rather than just saying "we are sorry for any inconvenience "."

They gave us a departure time 4 hours after our original departure time (1:20 am). 1:20 came and went without any more communication or information. 1:40 am arrived and someone from KQ showed up at our gate and said they do not have any additional information. We said there are children here and hungry, tired, frustrated people. We suggested they distribute waters or snacks, but that never happened. They just kept telling us they didnt know when the flight would take off (or if it would) nor when they would have any additional information. An hour later they made one announcement over the speaker at our gate that our flight was boarding at another gate. However, many people had fallen asleep on the floor as I had and I would have missed it if one of my fellow passengers hadnt woken me up to say that we were boarding. We then sat on the tarmac a while longer for reasons that were not explained and finally landed 7 hours later than scheduled. Very little effort was put into communicating to us, making our wait comfortable nor apologizing for the inconvenience. It was a very frustrating experience."

Cons: "I arrived in Seattle on time expecting a 2.5 hour lay over for our 5:15 p.m Condor flight to Munich. All the reader board said was Condor Flight to Munich-Canceled with no other information provided. The condor website said the flight was on time as scheduled. We roamed around the Seattle airport for over an hour trying to find a Condor booth, apparently they don't have a permanent one. When we finally found a Condor booth I was told, "The good news is the flight isn't cancelled, it's just delayed." It was delayed 18 HOURS to 11:15 the following morning. We were told we would have to exit the airport and go to the Condor ticket booth for more information. I nervously exited the airport, because I knew I couldn't get back in without a ticket. I waited in line for over TWO HOURS to find out the plane was still in Germany! No other information was given. I was told I was going to be provided a hotel along with meal vouchers for dinner and breakfast. I was told to come back by 8:00 a.m. in the morning to get my ticket to Munich. Why? BECAUSE THEY WOULD ONLY BE AT THEIR BOOTH UNTIL 10:00 a.m. I was given a room at Days Inn Tukwilla which is right outside the South Center Mall and was in a very sketchy part of town. I did not feel safe there. The room was dirty, the lights didn't work, the deadbolt didn't work and when I tried to charge my phone the plug fell out of the outlet. Also, the front desk staff had no idea I was coming and did not know anything about meal vouchers. I got up early and arrived at 7:30 a.m. No one from Condor even showed up until 8:15 a.m. I finally got my ticket to Munich which was delayed another THREE HOURS to 2:15 p.m. Again, with no notice. I asked for my connecting flight info because I from Munich I was going to Rome. I was told that someone would be helping me with that once I landed in Germany. I was also told I would be able to file a claim for my meals once in Germany. When I debarked the plane in Germany there was an angry worker hurriedly yelling at us to get on the bus if our connecting flight was with Lufthansa, which mine was. I was not helped with filing a claim at all. I finally arrived in Rome and the airline had lost my luggage. So if you fly with condor expect the first two days of your vacation/travel plans to be ruined and expect three days for your luggage to get sent to you. I will never ever book a flight with Condor again. They ruined the first four days of my 10 day vacation."

On the contrary, 1.5 hours before takeoff we all received an email that everything was on time. after standing in line for 3 hours, we got a coupon for a hotel in Renton, that was extremely shabby and if poor standard. After calling condor directly in order to completely cancel my flight, as a 20 hour delay nullified the reason for my trip, I was told snarkily that there is nothing they can do, and I should contact the checking personnel. The checkin personnel had no access to computers and could also no help. Just terrible."

Company refused to provide info on connections until we arrived in Munich, and then only after an unguided search for the Lufthansa (not condor) info desk elsewhere in the airport. The flight crew had a connections list, but refused to announce the info. The company agents on the US side were contractors who stood behind an empty counter. They didn't/couldn't turn on the airport computers to help, suggesting we guess or connections using the internet. After a full day's delay, I was only able to give my host a 1 hour heads up regarding my arrival time, inconveniencing her too. Unbelievably indifferent staff attitudes. Terrible service all around. Don't fly Condor, and consider avoiding Lufthansa for tolerating such awful treatment if their less-moneyed customers."

They also offered to check in additional carry on items for no cost. On board crew members were amazing, friendly, efficient, vet pleasant experience overall."

I did not even have a chance to look at the entertainment offers, just listened to music from their library which appeared to be well sized. There was no "chicken/meat or pasta" option, they only served pasta with marinera sauce for everyone in economy class which was so so....., however, I personally don't judge Airlines on their food, I could not care less and I am not looking for fancy food. Service quality, friendiyness of the crew, safety, airplane statue and reliability are my main points and I definitely think Condor scored great in those categories. I saw there was an option to preorder food choices / wishes prior to departure. I wish they used recyclable dishes (e.g. Like Lufthansa) to minimize trash."
