Cons: "Direct flights to and from South Africa to USA not via Middle East"
Cons: "Overbooked flights led to a missed connection resulting in a 12 hour layover"
Pros: "The crew, the food and the smooth journey."
Pros: "Good Crew, Good Flight"
Cons: "better movie/entertainment selections"
Cons: "No online check in, incredibly inconvenient. If is have known would have booked another carrier."
Cons: "More latest movies in the inflight movies"
Cons: "i was asked to pay to check in my luggage :("
Pros: "This was the second leg of flight from Gatwick, short stay at St Lucia, only a short flight, didn't leave the plane there so boarding and food comments don't really apply to this flight. Crew changed over here - new crew as good as first leg, excellent, never had problems with this on BA."
Cons: "Entertainment poor, limited choice and mediocre screens. Is the Boeing 777 fleet due a refurb? If so, don't spoil the seats and legroom, but do update the in-flight entertainment system!"
Pros: "Despite having a delay in Denver, we were able to arrive on time. The crew was very friendly in greeting us as we boarded the plane"
Cons: "The boarding process was hampered by too many people putting too much carry on luggage in the overhead bins. Many put things in the overhead bins that could have been put under the seat. It didn’t seem like the crew was paying too much attention to this. In general the crew was pleasant, but there didn’t appear to be much sincerity in the pleasantries."
Cons: "We couldn’t get on the flight. We arrived late because of an earlier flight but were at the ticket area before this flight even started boarding. Our boarding passes would not print at our departure location and I wasn’t able to check in online for it because it kept linking to the American Airlines website for checkin. We tried to print our boarding passes at the kiosks but it said we needed to seek assistance. We were misdirected to the ticketing/rebooking line which we sat in and watched the board change to boarding and later gate closing. There were only two agents at the desk helping the completely full queue. We were told that our reservation was apparently already changed to a later flight for some reason. Being delayed seven hours is a great way to start a honeymoon off."
Cons: "Flight delayed for 2 hours at the gate. Crew clueless about how to serve the food. Poor old BA. I remember them when they were good!"
Pros: "The plane was clean and the crew was friendly."
Cons: "the Gateway was broken, so we waited and waited to deplane. Then it worked, and we still waited. We were miles from the main terminals—and about the only plane in the back and beyond. So we had to board a bus. All in it took us an hour to get off the plane and to the terminal."
Pros: "Food was good, especially breakfast. Flight wasn’t full at all so plenty of room to stretch out"
Pros: "Food was tasty"
Cons: "Was delayed"
Cons: "Sitting on the tarmac for to long...."
Pros: "British Airways may be one of my favorite companies I've flown so far. Counter check-in and baggage drop off was friendly and efficient, and was absolutely the easiest I've had in my recent two week travels (where I sadly used 5 different airlines for 7 different flights), if not my overall lifetime of traveling abroad. The crew was friendly, helpful and it was easy to ask them questions. For both the price and the ease of service I would absolutely recommend them again to anyone I know."
Cons: "I flew economy, and I truly miss the days where a drink was included in seats for your flight. But that is so common on all flights of late."
Pros: "Friendly and helpful crew"
Cons: "My wife and I having to sit in separate seats when there were seats available next to each other. Being charged excess baggage when one suitcase was weigh under weight"
Pros: "The BA crew on both my flights from BOS to Prague were much more engaged and friendly"
Cons: "Crew Customer sevice"
Pros: "All the normal stuff of flying domestic."
Cons: "The way that my brand new suitcase was damaged on the flight and BA just said that handles are excluded from bag damage. Thus, they can do what ever they want with your bag's handles, manhandle it and not take any responsibility. My suitcase was clearly damaged by the way it was handled since i booked it in till i received it again and they just said sorry...there is nothing we can do for you!!! Now that is is poor customer service."
Pros: "Ticket price"
Cons: "It's third time British airways lost our baggage. Come on BA, you can do better than this!"
Pros: "Cabin Crew"
Cons: "Seat and seat space"
Cons: "Wheelchair was not provided at London and Phoenix locations."
Pros: "Crew was great!"
Cons: "Catering did not deliver hot sandwiches. Fix ground services."
Cons: "We booked seats in row 30, and your seat plan showed more than 30 rows, i think it was 36, but we landed up at the back against the toilets would never have booked if aware there were only 30 rows, and to top it by the time sandwiches got to us only wraps lef, not happy at all"
Pros: "Seats were comfortable, the crew was very attentive and professional, the plane was clean, check-in and boarding process easy and efficient"
Cons: "Early request of seat not taken in consideration. One week In advance request"
Pros: "Choice of food and cabin crew"
Cons: "Too crowded"
Pros: "The entertainment on the plane was plentiful. The overall comfort was superb. The staff was very kind."
Cons: "Everything was pretty enjoyable, however, the food really needs to step up. The food at business class lounge and on the plane were below average comparatively to other airlines and their business class offerings."
Pros: "Entertainment options"
Cons: "Poor food options"
Pros: "Good food, good service, everything on time."
Pros: "Flying in 787 is always a joy. Quiet; great movie and music selection; nice contemporary user interface."
Cons: "The seat legroom was not the worst I had but sleeping in the chair was somehow very hard. I think the seat needed a little more backward inclination. There was a headrest, which was a good idea but didn't work out as expected."
Cons: "My daughter spent several hours in the checking in process. It was vary confusing and frustrating."
Pros: "Very little."
Cons: "Seats are ridiculously small! I'm only 5'11" and could barely fit. I can't imagine what it's like for a taller man. It's also the first time I ever broke into a sweat on a flight. There are no overhead vents! Complaints to the staff were met with a surly reply that nothing could be done. Food was inedible. Movies were ok but they put the box for the equipment under the seat in front of you! What little space we have for our feet is now taken up by the entertainment equipment!! I've had much better experiences on discount regional airlines than on this trans-Atlantic "premium" carrier."
Pros: "The plane was new and everything was up to par."
Cons: "There wasn't anything I didn't like other than flying in coach!"
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and they gave enough food and water."
Cons: "We did on line check in, printed the tiket, and they decided to reprint it, and it never work, every time that we used this re-printed ticket doesn't work, we needed to call many time the staff, and in the baggage drop off constantly said that our baggage hast over weigth without weigth it, the scale said another thing, I have the impresion that they were pushing for extra-weigth pay."
Cons: "The flight was overbooked and I spent e hours in the airport getting rebooked, shuffled, finding my checked luggage, and being treated like an inconvience. I will never fly British Air again."
Pros: "Very pleasant and solicitous British cabin crew."
Cons: "Delayed departure."
Pros: "I liked British airways check in procedure and luggage handling"
Cons: "The whole flight was boring, no entertainment. Seats are not comfortable, they use very horrable water to make tea... I wish I didn't pay for it but I you have to buy what you eat, that's not nice on a commercial airline"
Cons: "So, the flight to Frankfurt never happened because of whatever happened with British Airways on 05/27/2017. We waited without information in the airport for over 6 hours and then were told to exit after which it took another 3 to 4 hours to get out of the airport. We were told to find a hotel with no help or voucher - nothing was showing available under $1000 a night, save our receipts for any food we might have, rebook our flight. As we were leaving the airport, we were given water, nothing before that. We received information as we were leaving the airport about our rights for recompense. Fortunately, a Heathrow staff member helped us with finding a hotel that cost about $400. We never were able to get to Frankfurt to see our family there and had to book train tickets to Paris to meet our hotel reservation there two days later. It was a bad situation, handled in a way that caused confusion, fear and unhealthy situations of standing for long periods and I will not be doing business with British Airways in future."
Pros: "The food was amazing actually. The seats were the most comfortable I've ever had and he entertainment choices were endless. The flight attendants took our requests graciously and were always helpful and friendly."
Cons: "Needs more airflow!!!! It got stuffy and warm."
Pros: "arrived safely and on time"
Cons: "Nothing was included. No snacks, not even pretzels or peanuts. No beverages unless you wanted to pay for it. No entertainment, such as music or TV shows (flight too short for movies.)"
Pros: "I was able to check in on an earlier flight which helped me to arrive an hour earlier."
Cons: "British Airways do not have access to a gate so always have to take a bus to airplane."
Pros: "Crew, food, entertainment all good. USB charging a nice touch"
Cons: "We purchased two tickets together but were assigned seats far apart. We couldn't check in using on-line app. It wanted Visa information for USA travel even though we are US citizens, all info was entered into our flight, and we had already flown the outbound leg. The partner airline for the first leg checked us in, noted that our seats were separate and said they unable to change it. We called BA customer service - they were unable to change our seats. On arrival at Heathrow there was a huge wait at the BA processing center, when we finally presented our boarding passes and asked for a change the representative told us there was no time and we should run to our gate. I sat next to two people traveling solo so sitting together was obviously no problem Seating people on a combined booking separately, and never finding a solution other than "run to your gate, we are really behind" is verging on terrible customer service."
Cons: "I rate an airline according to how flat the prices are for the same product. Both Germanwings and British Airways score low here."
Pros: "Good service! Nice seats !! Good flight over all!!!"
