The in flight services is great. However, the planes do not depart on time if they are departing from other Airports except in Doha. If you have a small window with your layover, be prepared that you might miss your connecting flight. My luggage was delayed because their departing flight from a non-Doha Airport was late to arrive. Their baggage department is beyond horrible, there is no number to call and have to use Whatsapp and a reply can take more than 3 hours. I had to track the luggage by going the Atlanta International Airport and wait 3 hours for a manager with Qatar airways to first board a flight and then to get my luggage, since they do not have anyone in baggage services. For this I will never fly Qatar Airways ever again.
Good food, comfortable seating, excellent service throughout. Professional, yet friendly and nice crew. My first experience with Qatar airlines, I would select Qatar for my future travels and recommend the service to my friends. Thank you.

Pros: "The crew was excellent. They were professional, efficient and very accommodating. The pilot was also excellent. He kept us informed of the status of the flight throughout the trip."
Cons: "The plane was terrible. The seats are so close together that you cannot move. The aisle is so narrow that one person can barely down it. Forget it if you have to pass by someone. The bathroom too is so small that you cannot move in it. It’s so uncomfortable. The new boarding process is just dumb. And to make matters worse they don’t even bother to check the boarding groups when you board. I had a person in a later boarding group in front of me and they let her on anyway — so what’s the point of having boarding groups. They should just go back to boarding from the rear of the plane first - that is the most efficient and quick way to do it. The so called entertainment is a joke. There is a very small choice of movies/TV shows to watch and that’s it. The free wi-fi gets you nowhere."

Cons: "Flight ETD was 8:25 but plane developed a mechanical problem. After about 20 minutes waiting for maintenance the Captain decided to go back to the gate for fuel and repairs. After maintenance came on board the decision was made to deplane. Finally, a plane from Chicago was scheduled to take us to San Diego. After boarding at about 12:30, it was discovered that catering never loaded food. We waited for over an hour for food to be delivered. At close to 2pm the Captain, who kept us aware of what was going on, asked us if we would agree to leave without a full delivery of food, and all agreed. So by 2pm we were finally enroute to San Diego but having a seat in the back meant we only got to eat what was left, which for me, was a small cheese pack."
Pros: "The plane, crew and boarding was great, and the food and drinks were quite good. Legroom in standard economy class was passable for a 6'2" person."
Cons: "I booked through the United website as trip from US, have Silver status on United, and Lufthansa's policies of not allowing advance (1-2 mo before flight) seat selection (never on UA nor LH websites) are just horrible. Hard to get through on 800 number, and 1 day before trip answer was still to do it in Frankfurt. Economy plus was $1000 more/person, and even then no guarantee I could choose a seat far in advance. Then, at computer kiosk in Frankfurt, they had a wrong diagram of the plane,as we ended up on what turned out to be a no-recline row which I would never get. I'm 6'2", 230lbs, and wasn't able to sleep on that flight. Had I been able to reserve a seat behind a bulkhead or in exit row 2mos in advance, I would have been fine."

Pros: "Comfortable flight. Got an economy plus seat at Silver level. Middle seat was empty. New interior in airplane with power outlets and mood lighting in cabin. Free movies available on network. For a short flight of this duration, a very comfortable atmosphere."
Cons: "Boarding process was chaotic. Gate staff didn't seem to be announcing boarding groups. I like how American has a promotion with T-Mobile for 1 hour of free wifi internet, which United doesn't."

Shuttle service could have been mentioned. The area of the airport I would need to get to in Chicago was not known. Although thr flight to Chicago was by far not full Iwas denied my request to take my roll on on the flight. It fits under seat. I am 70 and had to run across the airport."

Cons: "If you aren't going to turn on the air AT ALL for a 4.5 hour flight, at least don't lie to us and patronize us. After the SIXTH person asks you for air, don't continue to say, "Oh, are you really hot?" YES we were hot!! We were packed in like cattle with no air!!"

Cons: "The cabin crew insisted that we had to claim our baggage in Houston and go thru customs with it. THEY WERE WRONG! . we wasted 15 mins for luggage that we then found out did not need to be picked up as it was routed direct to Vancouver. This almost made us miss our next flight and caused us a lot of stress. We had specifically asked the crew to check as we thought it was ticketed to Vancouver but they insisted WE WERE WRONG"

Didn't even help me upgrade when I was willing to pay for it. The worst of it all was the nonsense that their customer service kept spewing. Brushed and straight up lied to. Id also like to say thank you for hooking me up with economy plus seats that include outlets to charge your devices. A+ in my book i even got an exit rox on my way home all to myself! Definitely will be using Kayak in the future."
Cons: "The United Airlines staff inside O'Hare. All but one were very rude to me for no reason. Maybe thats just a Chicago thing to have an attitude with everyone but im pretty sure it was just these 2 individuals."
Pros: "I had no complaint when I flew from Newark to Lima.flight attendants were nice and respectful they knew what they were doing. My travel back to the States were different. Since it was an overnight flight i expected to sleep most of the time. When I was resting suddenly one of the attendants literally scream in my ear to ask if I wanted chicken or beef??? I was like" can you see I was sleeping? To me that was rude. Also they didn't coordinate to serve drinks they took more than usual to serve. No one even ask if we want more drinks or not. Hope they do better"

Cons: "It cost me money to rent a hotel to stay overnight and get here in the morning and my flight was still delayed because there was no body to tow the the plane and bring it to the gate . Miss work , miss appointments , etc . Pharmacy about to shortdown because of this poor notifications . Could have gotten an American Airlines direct flight to Dallas in the morning and minimize the situation"

I chose coffee for my in-flight beverage to warm up, but the flight attendants did not have lids available to offer. As you can imagine, that didn't end well on a turbulent flight."

I was also allowed to board the wrong flight, and sat there until another customer boarded with the same seat assignment. If that hadn't happened, I would've flown all the way to Oklahoma on the wrong flight, with no luggage. Not to mention, it's probably a lapse in security. That's how I learned that my flight was canceled.The United phone line was not helpful. Then, I stood in line FOREVER. After 2 hours of standing in line, they set up a dedicated line, and all of a sudden it was helpful. I'm never not flying southwest again. I'm praying my luggage makes it to where I'm going. AND no wifi on either flight. That really sucks."

Pros: "The crew members at the gate were friendly and courteous. The plane was clean and pretty new looking. The onboard crew were fine, for all the dealings I had with them. Our bags, which were gate checked, arrived with us and intact."
Cons: "The seats are narrow, and I'm not a wide person. They are crowded in every direction. The airline(s) crowds more people into limited space, then charges people to check baggage, yet they seem surprised and ill-equipped to deal with the lack of space for carryon bags, begging people to gate check before boarding, then scolding the last people who board for bringing their bags to their seats, expecting to find a place in the overhead bins for them. They charge for snacks other than 2 oz. of pretzels. If this is considered part of the hospitality industry, the company gets a failing grade. The individual staff do the best they can."
