R7 128 Find cheap flights from Johannesburg to the Netherlands

Boarding was a mess, no one managing the queues. I got my meal as the pilot announced starting commencing descent and basic drink not available. No air bridge so takes forever to deplane the A380 onto buses.

We boarded via a mobile gate in Dubai. I don't care for the bus ride from the gate to the plane

Okish. But for £550 , I’d have preferred a better experience

They were very pleasant and helpful. My husband and I were sitted apart. We asked if we could be seated together were told flight ws fuly booked but would try. After a while they were able to make it work we got seats together. Their food is good and attendents are very friendly/helpful.

More leg room or a bed hahaha but in all was one of the best flys I been on

‏One of the worst flights I took in My life, delays after delays, then the AC is not working and we were living in a sauna,& we were sweating like pigs. and this even before take off. Next we arrived late one hour late, baggage claims worse than the delay itself add to that one more hour to get our luggage. I am extremely disappointed and my experience is I’m never going to fly on Emirates airline. Immigration was the only good thing about this trip. It took us seven minutes to go through to the luggage claims.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The seats were very comfortable and spacious. The entertainment was amazing, and so was the food!

When you buy emirates you don’t expect low cost. Boarding by bus. Seat will not incline. Line before emergency exit. Eating tray hits belly (and I didn’t grow lately). Entertainment on demand by payment.

Better entertainment; the lack of it made the very long flight even longer

Transavia flight. Couldn't select seat or anything prior to flight. No connection with klm systems. Seats are very crammed. Extremely no frills.

Flight left a few minutes late, but that's it. I wish the seats could be wider and recline more.

Overall a very pleasant flight. No significant issues on either flight. Amsterdam airport is very convenient for connecting

The IFE was quite old, but it worked fine and the content was good. The cabin crew were excellent and the food was as also very good

The flight was great, the only reason for middle scores on entertainment and food is that it was a short flight so not included (but snacks were served including alcoholic beverages free of charge). I would definitely recommend KLM.

Was trying to change a flight but told that Canadian and local klm systems do not interact so they could not access my booking. Overall I like klm a lot but if it was important to change flights I would be very frustrated.

Flight was delayed. Can happen. But the info on the website and app said that flight was cancelled which was not the case.

The whole trip was excellent. The only thing I would change is the temperature of the plane was a bit high which made it uncomfortable to sleep.

KLM is my favourite airline. Never ever let us down.Staff are first class.

The plane was good - on time! But can the stewardesses smile or actually be nice - not to bark the commands

Edelweiss is now Nickle&dimming, not even a complimentary wine on the intercontinental flight. Sitting space is the smallest I have ever seen.

I would recommend flying SWISS to anyone. Very impressed by the quality of food. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. They arranged a shuttle to help a group of passengers make connecting flights when there was a delay.

I have no complaints. The crew was attentive, pleasant and heloful

It was not made clear that additional passport control is needed before queueing up for boarding. The seats were very uncomfortable and cramped even for small persons. The arm rests were not fully capable of lifting up out of the way and the media controls cut-out made them even worse to lean on. Just one audio channel was working on one of our seats.

Flight was very full and we had to checkin our carry on. Stuff however promised us that our luggage will be the first one to come out and it did

Flight was diverted from Firenze to Pisa causing delay and inconvenience.

It was great. The attention, the fly was on time.

Flying portion was fine. Below average comfort. We had 2 canceled flights and got stuck in 2 cities which took us 3 days to get home. Kenya hasn’t done anything or even reached out to us after complaining.

We were delayed about 5 hours each way from JFK to Nairobi. On the way out, we sat on the tarmac for 5 hours making for almost 20 hours on the plane. And the seats are so uncomfortable. My bottom has never been so sore on a long flight before. Bring a pad if you can. On the return, we were delayed 5 hours in the airport. It was reported as a 3 hour delay on the board and website but at the gate it was 5 hours. So, we waited with 3 kids in the airport when we could have been at the hotel resting instead. The flight was completely full probably due to the cancelled flight the night before. I wonder if the airline is in such shambles because of their possible impending bankruptcy. The staff were pleasant and the vegan meals we requested were impressive for an airplane tv dinner style tray.

Service was good, but I lost my baggage. There should be more accountability to passengers, and more concern to help find lost baggage.

Was too pissed about my luggage not being with me even though they assured me at the gate it was to recall any other problems. Planes on the inside are in terrible shape. Thank goodness the engines seem to run okay.

Terrible. Flew from Rwanda to Nairobi for transfer then on to Madagascar. Kenya Airways does not like to park at a gate. They park on the outskirts requiring a bus shuttle. That part is okay, but the bus drops you off outside of security. If I did not skip to the front of the line with my remaining half hour connection, I would have missed my flight. Complete security check plus taking off of shoes had to be completed (again). I made it to Madagascar, but my checked bag decided to take a trip to Dubai. I know tag on luggage was to Madagascar. No one can figure out how it made it to Dubai, except for incompetence. Even though I knew it was in Dubai, they would not allow a tracking to be done until Kenya Airways had the opportunity to get it on the next flight to Madagascar. Did not happen of course! I took 3 flights with Kenya Airways during this journey. Everyone of them had something go wrong. Please look elsewhere for another airline which I will be doing in the future.

Terrible. 6 hours late and zero urgency after the fact. Took over an hour to board and then an hour plus on the runway.

Seats were great. Business class service has been cut entirely, not even a water handed out

Excellent crew. Three problems need to be taken care of: 1. Lack of wi-fi during the flight. This prevents busy traveller's from working while onboard. 2. Why there were two very-slow security check points was more punishment that necessary. Went through thorough security at transit area, the an even slower one at Gare 19!!!! Why passports needed to be checked st least 5 times by 5 different people makes no sense. Additionally, passengers were crammed like sardines in a boarding area with no charging ports that work!! This was a boarding nightmare. 3. During my flight (seat 27C) the headset socket did not work. Watched one movie, but very difficult because of that. Had to keep my fingers on the socket for it to work!

Food was awful and the seats were bad. No privacy in business class with the seat next to someone. 15 hours without WiFi!!!

I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the fact that I was not given a toiletry bag for an overnight international flight

Awful! First off, 15 minutes after purchasing my tickets I received an email to purchase my seats for the flights I paid for, charging me an additional $400 plus to be able to sit with my wife. Then, our flight(s) were late leaving 3 out of four times from the origin of flight (PDX, BUD, LHR). They couldn't even load the airplane to balance, had to wait 45 minutes to reload. After being late into Heathrow, they didn't have the personal to get the gate extension to the plane. Made our connections very tight, made us run from gate to gate. Not to mention Heathrow is one of the worst airport to connect from(if you can use Frankfurt or Amsterdam, they are both superior to the dump London is) event hough it is BA's home, the gate personal was rude and very stuck up. After running through the freaking airport, taking a bus, train and 3 elevators covering 7 floors in all. On our return to Portland, the service to Portland from Hawthrow was great, especially Chris, who was very aware of everyone's need and pleasant throughout the flight. This was my 3rd and final cross Atlantic flight with BA. Each time they were marginal to say the best. Their personal both at the Budapest and London stops were awful and made me flying with them poor. I will avoid BA and Heathrow at all cost if I can.

Overall a good experience. Heathrow was quite crowded and we did not knew the boarding gate just very late. Kayak sent a message with the gate number, but BA no and also it was not shown in the airport screens. so I had to wait until BA offered the gate number, as a result we didn’t have time to eat because we didn’t know how dar were we from the gate..

Pretty good flight in general. Connection in London was extremely slow. The security was slow and understaffed. It took 35 minutes to get through and it was not even crowded.

Aircraft delayed for two hours due to a technical issue with the rear emergency exit door slide not working.

The flight was delayed which caused me to lose my international flight to Egypt. I arrived Egypt 10 hours late which ruined my entire plan any trouble for the people that were waiting for my n the airport. I lost money and time.

Abby who was the crew member in my cabin had some serious attitudes. May need some training and some kind of diversity training.

The flight was uncomfortably warm. We asked a member of the crew to adjust the temperature, and they said they would but it didn't make a noticeable difference. They really cram you into the plane, too, in economy. It was quite uncomfortable for an 11 hour flight.

Flight was canceled. I had to pay for my own hotel room and could get a flight until the next evening. BA does not have offices or anyone to help at the London Heathrow. Airport. The whole experience was miserable.

GOOD: The flight was not delayed and the food was good. The IPA Goose Island beer was excellent. BAD: One of the crew members was so fat that every time she passed through the aisle, she bumped all the people along. Every single time. Once she bumped me with her breast, which made me particularly uncomfortable. I understand job fairness and protection against ageism and people with disabilities but if you buy an aircraft with a given width of aisle, you can't hire attendants whose buts are wider than the aisle. I am sorry but it was really annoying. Also, the games feature on the entertainment screen was not available.
