Interior is beat up. Entertainment system does not work. Food is bad
Really bad entertainment sets, most don’t work
We need to board a different flight because of technical difficulties.
Pros: "Crew was little helpful and nice ."
Cons: "1. Entertainment screen should be working in 15 hour flight. 2. Food tasted like it was rotten. 3. Boarding took forever 4. Plane had a bad smell inside the Cabin ."

Cons: "Very old plane. Entertainment did not work so I sat for 16 hours on the flight with nothing to watch. Crew not responsive. Dirty. Seats uncomfortable with not enough padding"
Pros: "Empty flight, could lounge in my row. On time departure and early arrival at JFK. Very good food."

Limited choices in in flight entertainment system. I’m not used to Indian food so can’t comment much. Didn’t quite like it."

Pros: "On the Dreamliner airplane there was plenty of room, even in economy, for my legs. Even for the 5 minutes when someone leaned back I was comfortable. Movie selection was great and the service excellent."

Cons: "Old plane, dirty toilets, not working properly, The entertainment was not working throughout the flight to India, and the staff couldn’t fix it. I will not travel again by Air India"
Cons: "Worst food I’ve ever had, highly salty and tasteless. And seats were literally falling apart. Even in upright position, they were reclining all the way under the weight of average passengers."

Cons: "At first, Air India checked our bags and made us wait for approx 4 hours in airport saying flight delayed and later after 4 hours said flight is cancelled and told everyone to go back home and come back next day to their office that is located away from the airport to rebook the ticket and they did not offer to refund the ticket. They never gave us our bags until after 8 hours something. They never cared of anyone for the entire 12 hours while we were in the airport. We had to spend our money to eat during the 12 hours time spend waiting and ended up booking a hotel room and buy another ticket from a different airline as Air India said they will not be sending us to the next flight as that is for the new passesngers only. Unbelievable experience. We had several stuff tied up to do once we arrive and we went through a nightmare to figure out several items. We did not have phones to communicate and had to go through hell to find a phone to talk with our kids who spend lot of time buying us the hotel room and air tickets for the next day on a different available airline."

Cons: "the main reason why i find the service provided by the airlines to be beyond poor is because the connecting flight was delayed by more than 6 hrs and there was no assistance from the airlines staff regarding the next flight or the amount of delay. The flight got delayed because of weather conditions which is not the fault of the airlines but keeping stranded passengers informed is their most important duty."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled. On the phone I was offered a seat for a flight 5 days later. I had to go to the airport and be in line for 4 hours to be re-booked on United the next day."

For crew to say this is to any passenger,"You opened it. Now close it" without a 'please can you close it' just sounds atrocious and mean"

Cons: "The seat became very hard after a long 14 hour flight. I kept having to hop up and go for a stroll in the cabin. This was not a problem except I had to ask 2 other people to move each time I wanted to get up."
Pros: "The leg room was ample in economy and the entertainment selection of films was sufficient."
Cons: "Cabin crew was mediocre at best. Their attentiveness was lacking at the finest of moments. The food options were unappealing and lacked in variety. I was unsure if there was a difference between a breakfast meal and a dinner meal. The cabin crew also did not have enough meat options for all the passengers and did not provide anything as much as an apology for such. The worst part of the journey were the other passengers and their lack of consideration for those around them. If the cabin crew were more attentive and informed passengers to return to their seats and keep the aisles clear there potentially would have been less of an issue."

Pros: "Check-in. Early arrival - 40 minutes early. There was a line to board instead of a crowd clogging the boarding area. Check-in and baggage handling person was professional."
Cons: "On-board seat equipment malfunctioned. Poor entertainment. Food was not that great. P/A announcers had some difficulty speaking Hindi as compared to English. Boarding area in Mumbai had only one scanner and poor lighting. Chances of baggage mix-up. This needs to be addressed ASAP."
