Pros: The flight was four hours delayed in Djibouti and there was absolutely zero, NO communication, whatsoever, provided by the Djibouti Ethiopian Airlines staff what was going on, how long the flight was going to be delayed, or if it was actually complete canceled for that evening.
Cons: Flight ET365 was scheduled to leave Djibouti at 19:00 but did not leave until 23:30, without any screen information or by the Ethiopian Airlines staff at JIB airport how long the delay would be or if the flight was completely cancelled. Extremely unprofessional and ignorant handling of the situation
Cons: It all started at the check point at Newark airport. While checking into my flight I noticed that the transit Time in Lomé was only 40 mns, so made it a point to ensure if my luggage would make it with me to Dakar. So upon arrival in Lome and as I suspected, I was rushed through the gate as the last passenger. Hence I asked the boarding agent again if my suitcases are on the plane: yes ma’am just get on the plane. Now I land in Dakar with no suitcases and no way of knowing when they will arrive. The staff were rude and unapologetic, plus they ask me to come back to the airport to collect my luggage when it gets here.UNBELIEAVABLE
Cons: Time was never kept. we had a delay in LGW for more than 2 hrs. I had a 17hrs layover in Kigali. I was not aware that i would not be booked in a hotel to rest. I had to make my own arrangements. And another extended delay out of Kigali to Nairobi
Cons: No, food was given, the water was HOT, and there was a roach on the plane. I fly quite often maybe 3 or 4 times a year and I have never seen a roach on any flight! The seat was incredibly dirty and beat up. To pay so much money for such a disregard for customers career and safety was quite troubling to me. This flight too had no air conditioning going at all. From boarding to the 45-minute flight my mother and I, as well as the other passengers including babies were sweating. Customers should not have to deal with such things people can get severely ill. This is beyond unsafe for customers and the staff. I am not sure who is responsible for this situation but I am not okay with it.
Pros: Landing was very smooth. I got window seat as requested.
Cons: My bags were mistagged and almost sent to Lagos instead of Nairobi. The agent noticed the error after the second bag was tagged. He went to search for my first bag that already went down the ramp. Although I gave him the exact description of the bag (purple hard case), he retagged the wrong one (red soft case). Good thing he took a photo. Third try was the charm but shouldn't have happened in the first place. Agents need to be more diligent with where they are sending bags and to double- and triple-check before he luggage is sent down the ramps.
Pros: Am impressed with d service, flight smoothes, and d crew members. Both at check-in and on board. Keep up d good job.
Cons: Having to walk on tarmac to board d plane. There should always be a walk way connector that connects d airplane to d airport terminal. Thanks
