Pros: "Service is great, planes were on time or only minimal delay. Wifi access, food is pretty descent, blanket and pillow plus small package with toothbrush. Stewardess very friendly and helpful!"

Cons: "The arrival time was slightly delayed but overall it was okay. The hot food again can be improved as the chicken dish had no vegetables (even though there was a side salad dish). The waiting lounge at Doha airport gate was a bit cramped, and the bus ride from the gate to the aircraft was also a bit long."

Pros: "Our connecting flight was only 1 hour after reaching Doha. They placed a crew member to receive all the passengers that needed to make that connection. Very very useful. Our luggage was made it to the short connection."

Cons: "We were supposed to take the flight 8 hours earlier. I’m not sure flight with such short connections should be sold at all - with the previous flight being late 20 minutes, we were met at arrival gate by Qatar airlines employee that told us our connecting flight left without us. They helped us with everything onward- getting new boarding passses, hotel and meal vouchers, but all of this should not have been needed if such short connections were not sold."

Pros: "I had never heard of Qatar Airways before I booked a 24hr flight to and from Sydney, Australia. I only did this on the suggestion from a friend that stated Qatar Airways was "alright". So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."
Cons: "Other rude or snotty passengers taking up the crews time and attention for no reason. But as I stated in the "positive" side of this review, the crew handled these impolite individuals with a smile and polite attitude. Kudos to Qatar Airways."

Cons: "When I arrived at the Airport in Arusha (JRO) my reserved row 23 aisle seats for the DOH to JFK segment were changed to the (last cabin section row 31); also my aisle seat was changed to a middle seat Food was better from JFK to DOH Entertainment was lacking - movie and TV selection was poor for 20+ hours of flight time"

Pros: "The flight attendants were professional and polite, I requested low-fat meals and they were good, the entertainment was very good, the air temperature was comfortable, most flights I had were on time."
Cons: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."

Food quantity and quality in flights is below average. Security at Doha airport are highly unprofessional and have no respect for passengers and their privacy."

Cons: "It was a confusing boarding procedure. We were sorted into zones, but boarded late. So, folks tried to get on all at once. We were in zone 1, and should have been the first economy on, but others just pushed past."

Cons: "Long time to check in. Not the airlines fault. Passengers had so much luggage, I didn't think the plane would leave the ground. There should be a line for people who travel light."

Pros: "It was my first time traveling on business class and I had an amazing experience, friendly and helpful crew, they always made sure that I was doing fine and if I needed anything or any help. Healthy options on they food menu and delicious food and beverages. I am looking forward to traveling with Qatar airways again in the future."

Cons: "The seats don't recline very far and on the a380 the window is a very long way from the seat making it impossible to lean against. - so difficult to get a reasonable test. The food was not great. Perhaps not qatar's fault(?) but we bought duty free alcohol in Brussels and took as carry on then after a layover in Doha we were advised Australian regulations prohibited us from taking it on board for the final leg - even though it was still sealed in the duty free bag. We were forced to check it protected only by some lightweight clothing and a thin back pack we had been using as cabin luggage. Fortunately it made it undamaged - but it would be better if we had been informed of this at Brussels."
