After the horrific experience, there is little to none that I can say I liked

The manager and staff do not have a sense of urgency or value the guests life's. I am still waiting for their correspondance regarding the break-in into our room whilst we were sleeping. Our room was broken into whilst were sleeping and our valueables including shoes were stolen. The first question they asked was why didn't we put everything on the safe, I mean how do you anticipate people breaking in into a room whilst you are sleeping and mind you staff all your belongings into a safe? The management was not really concerned whether we were okay or not, can you imagine had we woken up whilst they were busy helping themselves?. Our lives were practically at their mercy. I had to fight management on site for them to have extra security personnel and police to be involved. It has been 4 days already and no correspondance on how they will make amends to this terrifying ordeal or even a written apology from the so called "directors" who are supposedly . If you honestly do not value your own life and valuables then this is the resort for you, I would not recommend it to anyone who does PERIOD!!!!

We enjoyed the evening entertainment and we had a nice ocean view from our chalet. This hotel does not offer value for money. It prices itself at the top end of beach resort hotels found in Indian Ocean locations, but offers an "african service" with its many flaws: it is well overpriced. The staff could be friendlier and the number of "rules" in the place give the air of a holiday camp rather than the luxury retreat it is supposed to be. Overall very disappointing and we will certainly not be going back.

- The food was very mediocre, dreadful breakfast options compared to other hotels of this price - Having to pay extra for what was a poor internet service (free wi-fi is standard in hotels in this price bracket) - No drinking water provided any day in the rooms (and it's very hot there) - All the "rules", especially those regarding dinner bookings - The air and ambience of a holiday camp - The dated pool and generally dated facilities, including our ancient AC unit leaking on my daughter's bed and the old and stained pool towels (which were not always available!). This hotel badly needs some money spent on it!!

The outdoor setting was nice. The pools and the sea just in front of the hotel. Nice programs in the evening in general and for the New Year.

Lots of things have to be improved to make it a 4 star hotel. The staff need urgent training as they lack professionalism in general, they do not attend on time or sometimes at all to the guests. When arranging outdoor trips, the hotel staff charge whatever they want..sometimes the price varies from staff to staff in lots of things which is disturbing and raises serious questions about the conduit of the personnel and the management for allowing such practices. The water is extremely expensive which for a hotel at this category at least at the pool should be offered for free. Room cleanness lacks from all perspectives. You have bugs and different insects and for sure the rooms look below 3 star. Dark and small, nothing to do with what you expect. Food is very average. In general the staff needs serious training in service if at the reception or in the kitchen, if the hotel wants to be considered a high-end hotel... With improvement it can get there, however if left as is, the clients will eventually choose better hotels with better services for the same value.

Staff not friendly, very low standards of food, pool water dirty and stinky, and beach despite of turquoise water, full of rocks and plants.

Everything is very expensive and quality is mediocre For example, maximum dollar prices are charged for everything, then 5% is still added for credit card payments. Food was mediocre, mass produced, low cost options. Avoid the rainy season at all costs.
