There is even a patio and a swimming pool for the summer months. It is located within walking distance of both Williams College and downtown. As a bonus, there is a good breakfast.

Pros: Great location in walking distance from Williams College, and about 1/2 hour walk from Clark Art Institute. Easy and inexpensive cab ride to MassMoCA. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and especially for a motel quite nice. There was free bottled water and chocolates in the room. Breakfast was convenient and adequate. I didn't use the pool as it was too cold but I would go back here in warmer months and use it. The site is lovely with a nice garden and pastoral view out back.

Cons: Not a huge issue, but there isn't a convenient path (or steps) from the rooms/parking, to the office. It was dark and raining when we were there, so running back up the entrance drive, with cars pulling in, was a little concerning. We would, definately, stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone considering a staying there.

The breakfast was varied and we liked the opportunity to make our own fresh waffles. The bedroom and shower were well equipped - with charging points for phones embedded in the lamps - which was very useful. All in all we were glad we chose this accommodation

Cons: very loud neighbor slamming doors from 3 am on. Never saw anyone who worked there the whole time we were there. No one at check in just our key left at desk with my name on it and no one when we checked out. Very strange.

Pros: Owner/ manager Rocky is extremely friendly. He also will give you a review of local restaurants goes out of his way to make sure you are happy. Great location. Great value. Its a older property but very well kept and very clean. Beds are comfortable. Will visit again. He also made sure the room temp was good before you arrived.

Pros: I appreciated the friendly greeting from the evening host. He and his wife had attended the same excellent play at the Williamstown Theater Festival as I and remembered seeing me.

Cons: Although there was a thermostat in the room which I could control, I couldn't seem to get room temperature above the low 60s. I didn't ask for help though, and just put on an extra layer of clothing.

Cons: The wifi was not very functional and I had to teach online two of the nights. I ended up postponing one section of classes because the wifi wouldn't work. Also, my room key cards kept not functioning.

Cons: The AC unit was duct taped into the window, and the controls were broken. The only way to turn it on or off was to plug it in or unplug it. The room smelled musty, and featured several obsolete/unusable fixtures. Entire hotel needs remodeling.
