Friendly local motel. Old school charm in a nice location. I've never seen blueberries that big before, at the included breakfast. Close to grape size. Very pleasant experience.

Pros (+) The staff was spectacularly helpful when we had a mechanical problem with our car. We needed to take the car to a dealer in North Adams and we didn’t know whether we would need to stay another night to get it fixed. The proprietor was most helpful throughout our ordeal, even offering to lend us his auto if we needed it.

Pros (+) Location--easy to find and close to our venue
Cons (-) Room was the smallest ever encountered in years of travel--maybe large enough for 1 person. Microwave location made it impossible to hang clothing. Took a long time to adjust water pressure and temperature in shower. Lying in bed it was obvious someone had begun painting the ceiling and not finished the job. Really!? And why would someone hang two copies of the same framed print in a room?
