Very handy for beach and shops. We went for the Whitby Goth weekend and found it very central for everything. The owners are really friendly and welcoming and there are a few little extra touches to make your stay comfortable.
the owners were very polite and friendly. all questions were answered with knowledge. breakfasts were the best at b and b we've ever had.
the owners were very pleasant and chatty, there was a vegetarian breakfast option, local information was provided
there was no heating in the shower room, and water pressure meant the shower was either too cold or scalding hot. Duvets were warm, but not very comfortable - too thick and heavy. Heating wasn't switched on until 6pm, which is a bit late when you come in from a days walking, and it was fairly cold in the room.
Great helpful staff and lovely breakfast. Perfect central location for exploring Whitby town.
friendliness of staff.food v good.
room cold.....also cramped
Pleasant room, good breakfast, within walking distance of town centre.
Parking limited during very busy weekends.
Beautifully clean enviromentally aware hotel with a lovely breakfast and friendly people
Needed to ask for refresh
This is a very friendly establishment, ideally situated close to the beach at Whitby. The breakfasts are excellent, and the room I stayed in was a good size.
Room was clean.owners were friendly.there was a good choice for breakfast and there was street parking opposite
The stairs where quite steep up to the room. All hotels in Whitby are like that
Nice welcoming owners
