Everything about this charming hotel was just perfect. You won't find a more comfortable and friendly place around. Highly highy highly recommend.
Charming place, in a safe, calm neighborhood, close to the subway, helping with a good start of the day by offering a great, home made breakfast. Highly recommended!
Adam's Inn was in a good location. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. In my opinion the place just needs updated. The unit we had was a decent size but just "old" and cold. I had to use the electric heater. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were awful. The place was clean but the antiquity of it made is seem not as clean. The staff was friendly.
Home away from home & an Awesome staff
Adams and really felt like my home away from home. The beds are comfy. The place is charming. There is a nice living room area where you can work or plan out your day. I arrived in DC area early (7am), & I was exhausted! The person who had been staying in a room left early in the morning, so the staff did everything they could so that I could get in to the room before the 3 PM check-in time. I was able to rest for a couple hours before spending the rest of the day writing in the lounge. When I came home later that evening I was able to grab a cup of tea and some cookies that they always have out for their guests. It's these little touches that make you feel really comfortable and like in your own home. The breakfast was good too. Plenty of options (cereal, oatmeal , bagel, deli meats, cheese, yogurt, fruit, etc...)so everyone could find something they enjoyed. When I left the hotel room, I forgot my charger. I realized this when I got onto the bus to the airport. I called them, and they were kind enough to offer to mail it back to me. I made sure that they had my credit card on file so they could charge me for the shipping. Then I got an email back from the owner saying that they had mailed it free of charge. Talk about taking care of your guests! I really loved my stay here & highly recommend it to others!
- Located in the Adams Morgan section of DC. Close to DC buses and the Metro subway is 0.7 miles away. Very close to downtown DC. - Reasonably priced. Best prices in DC. - Offers breakfast. - Has a homely inn feeling. - Easy checking and checkout.
- Shorter beds. If you are super tall, you won't fit. - shared bathroom but I knew that. - No TV in room but I knew that. - Staff may not answer calls. They blamed it on busy checkin time but didn't return messages. -
