Pros. Location. Was able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
Cons. Breakfast was pathetic. Wall paper was peeling off the walls. Beds were not very comfortable at all! Pool was closed which was one of the enticing factors we booked here.
Pros. We came to Waco for a triathlon as a small group my girlfriend and a friend. We had booked a divided room but unfortunately they had us listed as a open studio. Billy and Romario the gentlemen working that evening took it upon themselves to find us availability on an evening where they were completely booked to accommodate us. They were very friendly and even walked us to our room to ensure the 2nd room was what we were looking for and correct. Very friendly and helpful.
Pros. Traveling with my family, 3 children under the age of 8, takes a lot of work. With a range of ages, and different bedtimes, finally finding an affordable 2BR suite for all of us was really kind of awesome. Put baby to sleep in his travel crib in the master BR, then later put older siblings in the other bedroom, and my wife and I could stay up and watch a movie in the living room - and not have to go to bed at 8, or wait until the kids are sound asleep before attempting to look at an iPad or, dare I say it, the television. Location was perfect - we walked to Magnolia Market, walked to the food trucks downtown, walked to the Dr. Pepper museum, and even walked to the park by the river to feed the ducks. Really only drove to the grocery store and the zoo - totally worth it, by the way. Staff was super friendly. Never walked by the front desk without a hello from someone. Had a minor issue with a carbon monoxide detector with a dying battery, but that was fixed quickly and with a smile. Maintenance man was super-friendly, even days later when I'd run into him in the lobby or shared an elevator. The kind lady who handled breakfast and early evening snacks was also great. Chatted with my kids, even shared restaurant suggestions and other fun things to do with the kids while we were there. I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else in Waco.
Cons. Nothing really. Maybe a little more counterspace in the kitchen?
