Cons: Not very good relating messages. We had friends that came over, never told us they were waiting after we finish our spa and massages.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The gardens and the view are nice, staff is friendly and breakfast is good
Cons: I have stayed in this hotel many times before, this time we took a promotion and upgrades into a suite, however it had many issues: - The room didn’t have a phone so ordering room services was impossible I had to go down all 4 floors of stairs to get an order for my 2 year old, they indicate to send a WhatsApp or phone but no one answered - The chimney wasn’t workin ok and at one point the smoke came down and everything was smelling of smoke we had to let the doors and windows open at 9 pm - the final day the hot water wasn’t working so cold showers for adults and no shower for baby

Pros: The price per night was very reasonable at --- USD. The hotel is located in the center of Villa de Leyva. It is quiet, clean and comfortable (most important factor) for price they charge it is very reasonable. They do not have food service/restaurant.
Cons: The room is small. It gets really cold at night and they do not provide any kind of portable heater. It is not up to the standards of major US/European hotels, but it is far cheaper.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Thank you so much to the staff at the hotel and the owners of the hotel for making our stay at Villa de Leyva so memorable and fun! The staff here are so kind and accommodating, on the first day they asked us if we were interested in any excursions and set us up with horseback riding for the next day. We had such a lovely time at this hotel and just chatting with all the staff was a treat in itself! The owners really went above and beyond to make our family stay here one of the best memories I have in visiting Villa de Leyva. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to all my friends and will stay there again on my next trip to Villa de Leyva! :)

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff & Great rooms
Cons: We enjoyed our stay very much
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting. Loved sitting out on the balcony in the morning and eve.
Cons: Breakfast: for the cost and a boutique hotel, they should work on this area. The breakfast includes a very simple set menu of choices (pick one: eggs, juice, toast or corn flakes, juice, toast or soup, juice toast and coffee). They should not charge extra for fruit or an arepa. I told the waitress that I cannot eat gluten (regular toast) and asked to substitute the arepa, but was told that was not possible. Not expensive, but charged me $1.50 extra and $4 for fruit. Most all other hotels of similar quality and cost would include these items in the breakfast. The first two days the waitress never came to refill our coffee (I had to get up twice to get the pot), but the last morning the waiter was quite attentive. The pool closed at 8 pm. It would be nice to have it open a bit later, so we could return from dinner and take a swim.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Liked the layout of the hotel with the swimming pool at the rear. Large airy room with good facilities although the wardrobe was a small share of a rail holding up a shelf!! Sufficient for our needs but glad I didn't have to unpack our large suitcase containing Wedding clothes. Lovely breakfasts with a good choice of hot food, juices, beverages and you could buy extras if needed. Helpful minimal staff during week, more on duty at weekend. Location was fine although it involved 10-15 minute walk to centre of town.
Cons: It was very quiet during the week and there was less staff around but only had to search hard once to find someone.

Cons: Being Colombian myself I was absolutely amazed by the lack of customer service. Not what I have been used to in Colombia.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room was in the second floor and it was outdated. Poor appearance specially the bathroom, for the price should be better. Not so clean at all I found hair on the floor. The sauna was not hot at all and the steam room cannot keep the temperature since the door has a gap at the bottom and the heat scapes easily. Pool has poor appearance and if you need to contact the front desk you have to go there on your bathing suit since there is no phone.
6,7 Good
Pros: Very close to the main square, which makes it easy to go around
Cons: The restaurant is very poor. Limited menu available and food wasn’t great.
6,7 Good
Pros: The location is wonderful and it has a private parking lot that for Villa de Leyva is rare.
Cons: The place is not very well kept, the water in the showers was merely warm, and the staff wasn’t very nice to the children.

Pros: Ximenia and her husband were exceptionally helpful, from arranging a driver for the day, booking bus tickets for the onward journey, even helping us resolve a SIM card issue. The hotel was a wonderful oasis in a wonderful town. We highly recommend this boutique hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Casa Terra is breathtakingly lovely. From the moment Ximena opened the front gate we delighted in the artistry evident in every corner of the large outside space. We enjoyed a coffee tray as we were checked in served by a fountain in the sunny breezy garden. Ximena sat with and offered suggestions of activities and restaurants and provided a sound and enthusiastic orientation to her lovely town which is cradled by mountains on all sides. Our room / bath (deluxe suite ) was large luxurious and well appointed. Breakfast was served in the garden and daily included fresh fruit with cream and granola, coffee, fresh juice, eggs per order.Birds were everywhere- colorful and sharing their songs. Ximena is a force of nature full of enthusiasm for her lovely town. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She interacts with each visitor as if he is the only guest. Her staff is highly professional following her lead. Everything about our staff was delightful. There is a reason Casa Terra wins the highest rating repeatedly.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a gorgeous property with wonderful attention to detail, from the variety of pillows to the stylish breakfast presentation outside, to the grounds, the cacti, the flowers, the beautiful fountain, the architecture of the building, the grass, beautiful outdoor seating areas. Extremely boutique attentive experience with only nine rooms. The staff/owner booked massages for us on site, and was very helpful in giving advice and assisting with sightseeing. Very close to town, but private and also a short walk to a nature hike behind the property. Perfect location.
Cons: We liked everything quite a bit.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for two nights with another couple in this wonderful quaint little bed and breakfast. Xiomara owns and runs the hotel and is an excellent resource. She helped us arrange a taxi for the day to take us around the country side. She provided us with many excellent food and restaurant recommendations. The property of Villa de Leyva is beautiful and a bit rustic which adds to the charm. The rooms are very clean and closy. The breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend the traditional soup (YUM!). The town of Villa de Leyva is very safe and Hotel Casa Terra is equally so. My husband and friends and I would come back here in a heart beat!

Pros: Beautiful ambience and spacious rooms. Impeccably clean. Very attentive staff. Location is great - you’re up a hill just outside central Villa de Leyva, maybe a 10 min walk to the Plaza Mayor.
Cons: Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. Note that English is very limited with the exception of one staff member, so pack your translator if you’re not a Spanish speaker!
