I was informed when we checked in that we had an economy room. This was the first I heard of it. They took me to a room with NO view and fire stairs outside the window in a well. No acceptable. Then I was taken to another room that was similar.. Still not acceptable. I was then shown another room which I was promptly informed was an upgrade. From what - a dungeon. This room was comfortable and we were then happy Breakfast was lovely. Staff accompdating.
SEE ABOVE - FOR INFORMATION. THE LIGHT IN TO ROOM IS INADEQUATE.

Lovely and Kind
Everyone was kind and helpful. I arrived early and they kept my luggage so that I could explore the city while my room was getting ready. They also offered for me to enjoy breakfast and a cafe even though I had not stayed there the night before. Lovely place and great location. It's on a main street, but the room was quiet. As a female solo traveler, I felt safe and content. Plus Verona is a beautiful city to explore. I also took a train for the day to Lago de Gardo 20 minutes away. Beautiful as well.
