Pros (+) Cheaper than most surrounding hotels and close to beach
Cons (-) 1st room was already occupied. Beds were worn out and sagging. Lots of highway noise.

Pros (+) Despite the fact that this hotel is now part of Motel 6, it's a decent place to stay in Ventura - right downtown and near the waterfront.

Pros (+) The man behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating. At one point the cable wasn't working but we called the office and he immediately came to our room to fix it. My girlfriend and I are fairly easy to please so just the fact that we had clean beds with adequate comfort, clean sink and bathroom, and a mini fridge gave us all we could ask for to enjoy ourselves.

Pros (+) Satisfied with the stay, overall.
Cons (-) Missing bathroom towels and the iron. Front desk was very nice about it, and apologized.
