Guy was rude, the car promised was not what was being offered to me. When I asked for another vehicle he gave attitude. Car was dirty and had an odor. They did not offer a replacement. Guy was on a personal call during transaction. Had rude comments made during drop off.

Wasn't open at scheduled time of drop off. Had to leave car out front of return location. Waited on hold for a total of close to 3 hours to be hung up on..also instructed to call road side assistance to help. They did not answer either. If this is sue to holiday weekend. Then dont schedule business and rental returns..

Pros:

The two women who worked in this area were horrible, especially the one with the accent. On the other hand, the gentleman who worked in this area was better to deal with. I thought that I was always greeted with boredom and disinterest. These people really need to be trained on basic common courtesy and professional couttesy!

Cons:

I did not like going to this place of business because of the true lack of professional courtesy. I felt like I was a burden to them just trying to get my car that was already on reservation. I have recently rented a car from Avis/Budget and the gentleman at the desk was fantastic. He was extremely friendly and worked with me over the price quoted to me on the general phone line. This person made you feel appreciated that you were renting a car from him. No one at Hertz ever made me feel this way or work with me. Maybe the Hertz employees needs to be trained by this gentleman at Avis!!!!

Pick-up truck

Unable to rent the truck due to associate grilling me wuth 21 questions as to “where I was going, why I picked the truck, do I just like trucks, what am I using it for and if I damage it do I know I am responsible for it?”- verbatim. When I stepped away, my son overheard the associates talking about not giving me a certain truck, but giving me another one instead. I felt so uncomfortable. I ended up not renting the truck and I wasted $45 on Lyft rides to and from. Also it ruined my entire plans for the day. As a courtesy I think it would be appropriate to help pay for my Lyft rides with provided receipts

I informed Enterprise about the car having a colony of ants that made their way inside the vehicle the entire three hour drive to our destination and I was told that it happens if the car is sitting out for long or not being rented.. They said it’s happened before so I question why this would happen again.. If this wasn’t the first time, they should have thoroughly inspected the car before renting it. Also, I mentioned that my friend had a minor allergy to cat fur because every time she got in the car, she would start sneezing and her eyes reddened. Thankfully she was mildly allergic so we were able to get some allergy medicine but it just made me question their overall inspection and cleaning process with their vehicles. The car itself kept glitching on us and kept showing an error message about a sd card being removed. We tried calling them about it but the automated message would say they were closed when their website said they were open. It was bothering to be asked what we wanted from them to make up for the inconveniences... We only wanted a car that wasn’t infested by ants and was thoroughly cleaned and inspected before renting out to people.

Premium SUV

Enterprise needs to get their program together. We reserved a vehicle and then received a call from the local rental office telling me they do not have the vehicle. So, we called again only to have the registration confirmed a 2nd time. when we arrived, they said they did not have the vehicle. We received a confirmation number twice!! no vehicle, so yes i am not satisfied. this place is a joke, and I will let everyone know how screwed up they are, if i am asked of course, i am not going out of my way to bash this poorly ran company.

After confirming availability in morning. Arrive at counter and no vehicle similar to reservation is available. Offered downgrade which does not work for family at no reduction in price. Agent declined to check with other locations or agency for vehicles. "We are not corporate owned and we do not have a vehicle for you" "Cannot check with other agency" "Cannot check with other locations" "Nothing we can do" We have a big 12 seater sprinter van you can have!
