Situated right in the middle of everything. View on the Ganges. The staff is both friendly, efficient and helpful. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast are simple but very good.
Room are old, feels like the floor can never be really cleaned - but it’s overall good value for money.

for such a fabulous location the decor and ambience could be much better. they need to hire a good designer to help them do this, not some fly by night contractor. the place deserves much more. Also the place around the hotel, especially outside the reception etc could be kept cleaner.

The staff were beyond helpful. Really kind , generous people who care about the comfort of your stay. My wife hurt her back and they let us check out in the evening before our flight so that she could rest.

Location is great, just a few minutes from the busy main Ghats and easy access to boat tours, Restaurants and what not. Staff were also great in picking us up from the main road were taxi from airport dropped us off and carried our luggage through the labyrinth of old Varanasi.
Room ("Milaap suite") was very small and bed sheets had hairs on them. It's advertised as having a balcony, but in reality that's just the entry area to the room, which is freely accessible by anyone. The bathroom needs a serious reno; expect to be showering all over the toilet and basin. No place to hang things except an old creaky wooden wardrobe. We organised a tour guide via the hotel - mainly because we simply couldn't be bothered hunting for one ourselves, but felt this came with a massive mark up that's not justified for the value of the tour we received.
