Pros: Superb! It's all about the details and Leila has an eye for them. Complementary wine, local mineral water, a warm greeting and the best attention. The room was fantastic, you wake up to the sound of birds singing and a breathtaking view of the little town and the river. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast, regional products, warm bread and crossaints to the sound of classical music. The villa itself is stunning, we got there just in time to enjoy a rose by the pool. Will definetly be back
7,9 Good
Pros: great romantic place, cozy, lots of space and freedom, easy going hosts, very friendly, family like welcome. they welcomed us at 2am in the morning, thats a ++!! nice breakfast, excellent atmosphere. found great resto "carree des maitres" just 300m walk. cozy and well kept swimming pool, nice garden.
Cons: such a place is not always easy to keep tidy, dont look into all corners. take it that some shabbyness is part of the romantics :-) vals les bains can also be a bit depressing off season. parking is tricky and needs some attention. for what you get it is not exactly cheap, but if you don't have to turn every dime its a great place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to the Royal Suite which is amazing, has a lovely view of the village and mountains. The Royal also has a self sufficient kitchen and patio (bonus!). The breakfast is lovely and organic - and the host Leila is fantastic. Would definitely stay again
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Stunning view down into the town. Super friendly owners!!! Thank you Leila and Christophe for feeling like being part of your family. Very nice pool! Charming atmosphere. Very nice rooms with lovely details.
Cons: We've had the Room Méditerranée in the "right tower" of this incredible house. Unfortunately there's no wardrobe to properly store some clothes. So if you bring 2 bigger suitcases for a longer stay, you'll have to leave a few things in your suitcases.

Pros: All aspects of Villa Aimee were fantastic - ranging from the bedroom set up, all the way through to the service and comfort levels. There was Delicious organic and local food served by polite and professional staff and a great ambience of the Villa and charming town only a short 5 minute walk away. Can’t wait to go back and tell my friends and family about this gem in Vals. Thanks Leila!

Pros: I loved my stay at Villa Aimée! The garden and terrace full of flowers, the view of the town and hills sorrounding the villa, the sunset... my bedroom so beautiful, personnel so friendly! The wonderful breakfast in the morning, with fresh hot toasts, home-made marmalades, yogurts, cereals, organic juice of the region, fruits, nuts, alminds,.. cheeses, with flowers on table and music on, all the ambience in the "gite" made my stay so charming and enjoyable..

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Villa was beautiful and had lovely views of Vals Le Bains and a beautiful pool. I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary bottle of wine and Vals Mints and nougat. Such a special treat to receive upon checking in. Leila the host was amazing with helpful tips on an area that she knows so well. We even received a lovely tip on a local Michelin star restaurant- exquisite. I would highly recommend Villa Aimee.
Cons: I didn’t find anything that I didn’t like about the property.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Villa was an amazing place to stay and relax with great facilities such as the lovely terrace and pool. Leila the host was incredibly friendly and spoke both english and French and assisted us on many occasions to book and plan some activities with ease. The 2 metre bed in the Medi room was so big and so comfortable. I’m fact adter travelling for nearly 3 months now I can honestly say it is the most comfortable bed so far in all ABNB’s we have stayed in and there has been many. The complementary wine, bought and mints were all very delicious and very much appreciated as many places never give anything. The property is huge so we could mingle when we wanted to with other guests or have our own time with so many little private places to sit and have a drink and our own BBQ which was lovely. I recommend anyone to stay with Leila and experience a fantastic vacation in a amazing part of France. The springs were incredible and no wonder they are so popular with locals and tourists. Thanks for everything Leila.
Cons: Nothing ! It was perfect.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The terrace of the room is good and big enough for relaxing (with a glass of wine) in the evening. The hotel is very well located at the foot of the Ardeche mountains. We came for cycling and the hotel is ideally located as a starting point for that.
Cons: The room furniture and bathroom are indeed a bit dated as I had read in previous reviews.
7,9 Good
Pros: Safe garage parking for motorbikes. The owner was a really friendly and helpful person who insisted on stopping the traffic for us as we rode out of the property. Our room had a nice balcony and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The bathroom was in need of refurbishment. Val-les-Bains itself looks like it has seen better days.
4,2 Okay
Pros: The hotel is in the centre of town and has free parking
Cons: The hotel is very tired and hasn’t had any investment or improvements since the 60’s judging by the decor. There is a smell of mustiness on everything and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable with a hard mattress and non existent pillow. The hotel is only suitable for budget travellers even then I’d suggest local Airb&b providers would offer cleaner and cheaper alternatives
