Lovely staff, fantastic breakfast, great central location but also very quiet. Easy parking at next door Burger King.
The room was lovely. The hotel owner was fantastic and very helpful. She went beyond anything I've seen another hotel owner do. A bad event happened. The floor outside of the bathtub has a large stone slab and I slipped on it, injuring my wrist. I thought I had broken it but, according to the hospital doctor, no bones were broken, even though the pain was terrible. The hotel owner took me to the local clinic for X-rays and then to the hospital. She wanted to pay for the X-rays. The hospital did not charge for seeing two doctors. My wrist still hurts but hopefully it will heal well. And yes, the breakfast was excellent. They make a different breakfast each morning based on traditional local recipes.
One of the best we stayed ever
Beatiful colonial house with a beatiful garden, creative interior design, typical mexican breakfast with mayan coffee (the best!), free coctail in a restaurant on the colonial street Calzada de los Frailes, easy parking and a map with interesting places upon arrival.
We just spent one night there, as we had been in the sister hotel for three nights. Pleasant staff, breakfast was fine.
The beds were very firm and I was expecting more, from the price. Compared to other places we have stayed in the Yucatan, I felt it was overpriced.
