Pros: Warm welcome. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Crisp and comfortable room - lovely bed, duvet and sheets. Nice additional touches like hot chocolate (tall glasses + marshmallow), homemade cookies and bath salts - particularly appreciated as we were on a coastal walking holiday. Sound of the slow crash of waves on the boat ramp, heard from the room was particularly magical and made for a wonderful lullaby. Just has an excellent getaway vibe.

Cons: Quantity of food at dinner time was minimalist which encourages customers to go for at least two courses. Food pricing expensive......but few other eatery options in Portloe.

Cons: The room was a bit too hot (was difficult to manage the heating to a good temperature) and we could hear people walking around and talking in the room upstairs. Although it was lovely that we were provided with little extras in the room, this included a lot of single-use plastic so not very sustainable.

Cons: Breakfast was poor, over-cooked and dry, disinterested staff, no loung area or bar stools in busy bar restaurant. no table bookings available. If you don't have a table reservation there is nowhere in the hotel to sit with friends/family except your bedroom!

Cons: Restaurant fare typical of type. Adequate. The tomato ketchup was disgusting, probably never benn anywhere near a real tomato. Rooms comfortable but the bathroom radiator didn’t work even after we reported it.

Cons: The room seemed to be missing an easy chair and if there had been two of us, one would have had to sit on the bed! The only chair that was there, was very uncomfortable.
