It says free parking on this app - that's a lie We were locked out at one point in the middle of the night because there was no one at the front desk to let us in exposed wires in the bathroom rooms were dirty, towels were yucky not the safest neighborhood overall the place was gross and I paid close to $250 Would like my money back
Cost performance is good.
Front staff members didn't their jobs. They must respond to customers cordially.
This resort is good for two things: if your looking for a low budget motel and dont want to go to hostel and want a motel in the downtown area then this place is for you.
This resort is good for two things: if your looking for a low budget motel and dont want to go to hostel and want a motel in the downtown area then this place is for you. The comfort of the room was good, had a nice big bed, tv and good bathroom facilities but the whole motel stank of smoke, everything comes in plastic cups and bowls and the b&b is well below average. The location of the motel is fair also because there are prostitutes outside and there are so many beggers who ask for your money. This motel is situated in a very bad area of Toronto so if your a female solo traveller and walking around at night, its best to catch a cab back to the motel, dont walk it. Each room also has holes, smelly heaters with some type of tunnel thing out of the window.. which means the windows always have vents (making it hard for heat!) and the neighbourhood/location of the hotel meant you can hear every car and prostitute walking around the hotel. So not great sleep either. Breakfast was fair also. Everything came in plastic cups or bowls and the variety was awful! They had 3 types of cornflakes, plain bagels, plain white toast with jam or marmalade, orange cordial juice and coffee or tea. No fruit, not hot food. Restaurant was very cosy too.
Other guests were very loud at all hours of the night (from 1am - 3am). This made it very difficult to sleep. I would of hoped that the hotel staff would enforce their quiet hours (after 11), especially when it was throughout the the night.
Location in the middle of the city
The traffic - big street and people walking in front of the hotel room. Very noisy at night. The room was next to the lobby where people were talking the whole night. Could change the room in the quite one on the other side, but there was practically no window (a tiny one showing the next wall in 30 cm distance)
