Kitchenette and air conditioning.
Dirty bathroom, stains on and holes in the towels, no hair dryer.
I loved the staff so much! They where so helpful especially an older woman there who helped me to get to all the hot spots around town!
Inexpensive and basic accommodations
location is not far from the garment/fashion district and Ryerson University. Easy access to transit.
The entire property feels dingy. I stayed for two nights--wouldn't want to stay any more. There are also no keycards at the hotel--I was given a key for the front door and a key to my room.
Clean bed in a good area
The hotel was a very old building, but extremely clean and well cared for. We even saw a girl sweeping the parking lot! If you are just looking for a clean place to sleep in a fun area of Toronto (located on the edge of Chinatown, near Kensington market and queen west west) this is your place. We were surprised to have a kitchenette too. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning.
My only possible complaint would be for them to have better wifi, but free wifi is better than nothing.
Room is a little small and older
The location of the hotel was pretty good.
I wish they had breakfast including
The best things were the location, next to Chinatown, and walkable to most of downtown Toronto. Also the area is very quiet bearing in mind it's location. Finally our room had a perfect view of the nearby cn Tower.
The room was a little dated - although clean. The air-con unit in our room was noisy when on, and the staff were not particularly customer focussed or friendly - and just did the minimum.
Good location and good budget accommodation!
A bit hard to find as street is very small and not on some maps. Guests should be directed to Bathurst at Carr!
The location of the hotel was good, close to the nice shopping area in Queen street
Although the location is very good, is the price to high for the level of comfort that is offered.
