The hotel is well located and is exactly as advertised. Cheap and basic but clean. Was a decent experience on the whole.
Nothing. The hotel was exactly as expected.
It was nice and simple, has everything you need.
The shower room was interesting, my first day in japan being butt naked with a bunch of Japanese folk. My tv and radio didn’t work :(
Close to train station and plenty of restaurant near by.
- Walking distance to Kanda station, many eateries and internet cafe nearby - Not too many capsules per floor, and mostly Japanese guests generally very quiet - Professional helpful staff - Toilet and personal locker located on same floor as capsule - Computer and print station on ground floor and work desk area - Amazingly good pricing rate - Luggage storage on ground floor - Great value for overnight stay but difficult to stay more time than that (no laundry, small bathroom, not much changing room space)
- No laundry facility onsite. Coin laundry at least 12 minutes walk away - In-room wear hospital style robes provided are VERY short (and I'm 5'10). Barely long enough to cover below waist, which is problem when going bath (see below) - Common bathing is located down stairs in basement. Need to walk past front desk check-in area - and window facing public road - in short robes, to get to bath stairwell. - Small bathing area can get crowded and busy. Heavy chlorine smell. - Property though maintained looks a little rundown and not updated since 90s. (Ie. some mould in shower area, and capsule fans blocked by years of lint) - Inside capsule got very hot, because capsule fan was not working. Room aircon was great however. - Small common area to unpack and organise luggage. Have overnight bag and toiletries prepared before stay.
