the room is too small for two guest, it was 2pm when we tried to ask the front desk if we can check in since it was raining hard outside but we waited 3pm for us to check in,, no consideration at all
Easy for a lone traveler. Easy check in and easy check out process.
This hotel is in between two train stations - Tokyo Metro for the Hanzomon and Tozai lines as well as the JR Chuo-Sobu line. The Tokyo metro is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, the JR lines are a ten minute walk. This chain is owned by an ultra-conservative businessman who regularly supports very hard line policies and has the money to do so (this may matter for some who would rather not support this cause with their business). The hotel is adequate, rooms are very small even for Tokyo. A laundry room was listed but it is really one machine and dryer, hidden in a nook near the back entrance of the hotel. There is a lot of great food in this area, a little area of Italian restaurants are scattered around the street behind the hotel along with an Anytime Fitness.
The rooms are very small (even for Tokyo) there are stairs up from the street into the hotel, so those with heavy luggage will find this very inconvenient. There is a back entrance at street level with no stairs. The laundry facility is really just one machine and a dryer (it costs 300 yen to wash and 100 yen/30 minutes of dryer time).
They did not clean my room the last day. Just put the towels on my door. Surprised.
Good location, clean hotel, all the basics you need are there
Breakfast is really monotonous (3 similar options every day), good for one or two days but after that...
