Fantastic location, tons of nearby amenities and entertainment in short walking distance, great views, and close to train stations. The staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. I was here for Tsuburaya Con and I hope to return in 2021 for the second one. The view from my room was great and the fact that I could simply go downstairs to get to an amusement area would be super appealing for people with children.
Location is good
Old facilities in the room.
Excellent hospitality. The hotel has their own taxi stand.
Outlet should be more.
location and elevators
I requested for a master bed but found two single beds in my room while check in. So have to live with it.
I always try to Stay at the Tokyo Dome Hotel
For value and room size, this hotel is the best in Tokyo of the five hotels that I've stayed in during any of my trips to Japan (2). It is right off of two subway (Suidobashi, Korakuen stns) and JR east stations and relatively close access to a third (Kasuga Stn). Note that at least Suidobashi and Korakuen Stn have elevators for those traveling with luggage. Tokyo Dome City / Meet Port provide many dining and shopping options. There is also a so-so amusement park suitable for children. I will continue to book stays at this hotel whenever I am in Tokyo.
Central location in Bunkyo is away from the JR circle loop and requires some travel upon arrival at Tokyo Stn via Narita Expresses. I wasn't aware of the ease of connection from Tokyo station nor of the presence of elevators at Suidobashi stn when I first arrived, so arriving with luggage was a bit of a chore. When the Tokyo Giants are playing at home, this hotel fills up fast. Extra charge for early check-in (before 1600/400pm)
The Tokyo Dome Hotel is part of the Tokyo Dome City, an entertainment complex that adjoins the famous Tokyo Dome Stadium. While this makes it ideal for the leisure traveler to the city, it is also a good option for any sort of guest. After tall, it is less than ten minutes, by foot to the JR Suidobashi Station as well as the Korakuen and Suidobashi subway stations. The Tokyo Haneda International Airport is ten miles away and attractions like the Imperial Palace and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden are within two miles.
While the delights of the Tokyo Dome City await just outside, the hotel itself has many facilities and amenities to enjoy. There are full business services with meeting rooms, child care options, the rooftop garden pool, a photo studio for those hosting events at the hotel, formal wear rental, a beauty salon and spa, florist services, shopping, free parking, and multiple dining options on almost every floor.
Restaurants in the hotel include the Artists Café offering Italian cuisine, C Maj7 with standing bar services, Deux Mil offering French food, 2000 with standing bar service, the Yugyoan Tankuma Kitamise Japanese restaurant, the buffet services of Rilassa, Sizzler offering steak and seafood, Japanese barbecue at Gyubei Souan, and lavish pastries at the Garden Terrace, among many others.
With more than 1,000 rooms available, there are many options. Some look at the Imperial Palace and Mt. Fuji while others look towards the Kanto Plain. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, smartphones (for a fee), private baths, premium toiletries, entertainment systems, sitting areas, and more. With a location close to almost everything visitors want to do in Tokyo, the Tokyo Dome Hotel is a good choice.
