Clean and tidy and modern
It was good , maybe they not charge for tea and coffee in the room like most other hotels
Bed comfortable Staff friendly
The location was very convenient. Close to the train station. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. For 2500 yen the expectations are higher.
I had to extend my stay because of a very strong typhoon. Although the hotel was fully booked because of a major sports event at the Tokyo Dome next door, the hotel made it possible (after I had already sought and found alternative accommodation), to let me stay on for another 2 more days. Communication was swift, effective and friendly.
It was my fifth or sixth stay at this hotel. I had always rooms on higher floors. This time was 9th. floor only (later changed to 10th floor without me mentioning anything). While that fact did not bother me too much, the elevators to the first 12 or 15 floors is much more crowded than the higher floors. At times I had to wait 3 or 4 lift 'loads' to pass by because there was no capacity for more passengers.
Good quality hotel, helpful staff, good inhouse restaurants, luggage forwarding service, lobby afternoon tea
Average breakfast, but that applies to most Japanese hotels in my view.
The Tokyo Dome Hotel is part of the Tokyo Dome City, an entertainment complex that adjoins the famous Tokyo Dome Stadium. While this makes it ideal for the leisure traveler to the city, it is also a good option for any sort of guest. After tall, it is less than ten minutes, by foot to the JR Suidobashi Station as well as the Korakuen and Suidobashi subway stations. The Tokyo Haneda International Airport is ten miles away and attractions like the Imperial Palace and Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden are within two miles.
While the delights of the Tokyo Dome City await just outside, the hotel itself has many facilities and amenities to enjoy. There are full business services with meeting rooms, child care options, the rooftop garden pool, a photo studio for those hosting events at the hotel, formal wear rental, a beauty salon and spa, florist services, shopping, free parking, and multiple dining options on almost every floor.
Restaurants in the hotel include the Artists Café offering Italian cuisine, C Maj7 with standing bar services, Deux Mil offering French food, 2000 with standing bar service, the Yugyoan Tankuma Kitamise Japanese restaurant, the buffet services of Rilassa, Sizzler offering steak and seafood, Japanese barbecue at Gyubei Souan, and lavish pastries at the Garden Terrace, among many others.
With more than 1,000 rooms available, there are many options. Some look at the Imperial Palace and Mt. Fuji while others look towards the Kanto Plain. All rooms feature free Wi-Fi, smartphones (for a fee), private baths, premium toiletries, entertainment systems, sitting areas, and more. With a location close to almost everything visitors want to do in Tokyo, the Tokyo Dome Hotel is a good choice.
