Pros: -staff extremely helpful and professional -furo on the top -good location across JR and Sogo

Cons: pillow was too high and firm, and no extra pillows were available. Hotel provided more bath towels.

Pros: Very helpful staff. Nice wet room/ shower. Good hot spa/Onsen

Cons: A bit involved travelling between the two towers

Pros: The very convenient location and very helpful & courteous staff.

Cons: The pillows are a bit too hard. Wish they could allow us to check-in earlier.

Pros: We didn’t expect that there is hot spring in this hotel. It is super close to the department stores. The staff were very friendly and helped us book the restaurant for dinner in advance.

Pros: The location is good. There is a cafe and convenience store downstairs. I also like public bath on the top floor.

Cons: The sink was a little smelly if you don’t close the lid. Some people are not used to use public bath, so they use shower very selfish way like at home.

Pros: Great location as it is just directly opposite Tokushima JR Station and bus station. It is also very convenient to have meals as there are many restaurants and Lawson is just next door.

Pros: NEWS IN ENGLISH ON TELEVISION.

Pros: Excellent location in Tokushima. Nice size room and bathroom.

Cons: Arrived early (4hrs before official check-in) after 3 flights from Switzerland but told no early check-in possible (understandable if no room available). 3 hrs later, tried again, but told no early check-in possible. But 10min later, told could check-in but 3000yen charge. Didn’t mind paying, so paid, but would have been nice to have been given option earlier because obviously the insistence on official check-in time was not because room unavailable !!!

Cons: No coin laundry and no vending machines with beer.

Pros: This business hotel has everything that you would expect from a business hotel. It is a perfectly acceptable place to stay for a day or two. It is a 5 minute walk to the Awa-Tomida station which is one stop from the main station. Trains run every 1/2 hour so we spent a fair bit of time waiting for trains. Breakfast was extensive but naturally caters for Japanese tastes. The hotel was clean but definitely showing its age. (Scuff marks on the wall, discoloured grout etc.) these didn’t impact on our stay. The blackout curtains worked really well and we slept very well on a nice firm bed.

Cons: Because we are travelling by train, it would have been more convenient to be closer to the main station.

Pros: We had a very nice and clean room overlooking the river.

Pros: After soms sleepless hours in old smoke, i asked the guy at the reception at 1 AM if i could change to non smoking the following day. He promply found another room that i could move to immediately and even offered to help me move. Hero! Without this move i woud have never enjoyed the Nespresso (!), the bbc word service (!!) the spotlessy clean room, the newspaper in english on the carpet every morning (!!!) etcetera. The room was nothing fancy but good enough but these kind of stuff and service made me love the place. Besides: good location, strong wifi and it offers a free telefoons service.

Cons: Beware that the Windows can not be opened... This combined with a weak climate control made the smoking room undoable, it looked disgusting and worse it left me sleepless and with a headache...

Pros: Opposite the JR station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants. Breakfast buffet was good - the ochazuke was yum! Room was pretty massive and even came with nespresso pods!

Cons: Just be careful with the AC/heater. I believe the AC is centrally controlled so the switch in the room is for the heater only! Dont touch unless you want to sleep in a sauna!

Pros: Fairly comfortable beds in a convenient location, nice and close to some good food and bars.

Cons: Smells a lot of cigarettes, but you eventually get used to it.

Pros: It is very conveniently located right by the Tokushima station. I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities they provided, like a nespresso and a good strong hair dryer.

Pros: Large Aquarium tank in hotel lobby/coffee lounge. Beautifully kept. Lovely music in reception area. The surprise of an English language newspaper delivered under door, to room, early morning.

Cons: Stained and tired carpet from lift to our room door on the 8th floor. Bedside light broken (not just bad light bulb) fixture had no, ON, chain to pull.

Pros: Room is clean and tidy. The breakfast included is better than expectation. It is still convenient to JR station as you find the shortcut to there.

Pros: An excellent hotel and happy and attentive staff. Well located, with access to several places. Calm place. A delicious breakfast. I used laundry. I choose hotels with good structure because I am from Brazil a distant country and I need comfort.

Pros: Breakfast was OK considering it was free!. Twin Beds were comfortable!

Cons: Little room for luggage - 2 large suitcases and one small Case which would be considered normal for a 12 day visit for two older people but we had many issues with trying to keep clothes and footware tidy. Hanging space was minimal. Laundry with two machines but no English instructions was located on a separate floor level !!

Pros: Super fast check in, awesome location, there is a 7-11 in a minute walk

Cons: I arrived around 11pm and was obviously exhausted and sweaty because of a long travel and the hot weather in August. The staff didn't care and wanted to take a picture for their customers picture wall; I refused. In the morning, I checked out and the staff wanted to sell me another stay and made fun of my last name. When I wanted to pick up my luggage in the evening, the staff member didn't let me take some rest for a few minutes and wanted to take a picture again. To sum it up, the staff is unfriendly and doesn't provide a good service. My room was clean, but old. There was no water boiler and the shower was leaking.

Pros: A good cheap hotel. Breakfast included. Not far from the bus/train station (can be done on foot) and thus for center town, which is a plus. The personnel is nice, and speak for some of them some form of broken English, which help.

Cons: The place was not clean: it didn't seem like the aircon was ever serviced. The furniture was visibly worn out. I didn't think that the price was appropriate for the value.

Pros: The location was great. The taxi fare from the train station was around usd 15. There were a few restaurants around and also some stores like seven eleven and a ¥100 plaza, both super popular in Japan. The room had a very comfortable bed and lighting. The staff was super friendly.

Cons: The bath wall was super dirty like “oh my God how could they do this to me !?”. The room was clean but they do not check the bath area for months !

Cons: The smell of smoke in the corridor wasn’t very nice.

Pros: The breakfast is nice and delicious. The bed is comfortable to sleep. Also, it has a nice view from the room.

Cons: There is no fan in the bathroom, which feels stuffy during showers. I would like to try the onsen and gym, but the opening hours is too short. Also, the check-out is right at the breakfast ending time, which leaves no time for people packing after breakfast.

Cons: The carpet in our room was wet- I don’t know if there was a flood or if they had cleaned the floors that day, but it was jarring to step out of my shoes and get my socks soaking wet. Bathroom felt musty with some mold on the walls.
