The bathroom tub drain very very slowly and dirty. Carpet is old and dirty.
Staff are polite. Location is good and easy to find. Very nice view. Breakfast is simple but enough.
Hot water faucet handle disappeared. Refridgerator had no temperature control; water dripping inside. Some drawers for clothing couldn’t open. Previous guest’s socks were found in the top drawer. Hard to connect to “free” wi-if at room; reason: too many guests are using. No shampoo; got two bottles of conditioner, instead.
That it is somewhat close to Sequia National Park.
My family and I found bed bugs in our room and the beds did not look like they had been cleaned in awhile because we found hairs on the beds and the TVs are out of date not to mention that the room smelled funny
Nice place... and close to the giant trees!
They have a little park right in the center of the property. You can play horseshoes, basketball... kids can ride some swings or play on the jungle gym. It’s very pretty all around the location. It may feel outdated to some travelers, in terms of the rooms themselves, but that’s sort of the charm for me. The breakfast included waffles, pastries, fruit, coffee, juice, toast, cereal and more. The owners are very friendly and helpful. AND there are a couple of cute kitties that the owners keep on location. If you aren’t allergic, they’re really sweet and friendly.
At one point, the water in the shower went from hot to ice cold and I couldn’t get it to be hot again. So after five minutes of that, I screamed like a banshee and I jumped out! I assume it was an isolated incident. But I loved the place overall!!
Perfect spot for a trip to the sequoias
Bed was hard
Clean bed. Great tv. Great air conditioning. Friendly staff. Easy check in process. Lots of parking.
Payed extra since it's the peak season for Sequoia visits. Also, showers we're very weak, so took forever to take one. And whenever another unit would flush a toilet or use their faucet, water would get extremely hot. Lobby constantly smelled of curry, which took away my appetite for the free breakfast. Curry is more of a dinner or lunch thing for me personally.
1 hour drive from Sequoia National Park where Sentinel Tree and General Sherman Tree are Staff very friendly. One of them was a ranger and provided a lot of information on visiting Sequoia National Park.
Location: -2 hour drive from Grant Grove, Kings Canyon National Park -3 hour drive from Cedar Grove, Kings Canyon National Park Room was not "ready" when we checked in -only 1/4 roll toilet paper left -Kleenex container empty. Next day they left a Kleenex box on bathroom counter and did not put in the container -Spa was not turned on the 2nd night we were there -no WiFi in the room -dark room
No hot water!
It's near the Kaweah River. You can walk to it and have spectacular views and get close to the river. The playground is great for children.
There was no hot water! At best it was lukewarm, for the first person taking a shower, then the warm water ran out. The pool was unusable. It was full of leaves when we got there, then when it got "cleaned" it was cloudy.
Not worth the price
Close to the park's entrance.
Poor maintained rooms. Extremely slow wifi. Bad quality breakfast Minuscule bathrooms Expensive
Close to the park
Close to National Park
Mini Fridge Microwave Close to small markets
Dirty looking pool weird smelling room
I really enjoyed the location, the view, as well as the room and the staff.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent as we went to Sequoia and Yosemite (both absolutely magnificent)!!! We ate at a little Mexican restaurant just up the road and they were great fun and so helpful. Eveyone in the town was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Would go back in a minute and will certainly tell everyone about it. (Both in the States and in Australia!)
The hotel is only 20 minutes driving from the Sequoia National Park, which was our main purpose when we booked it. The staff is nice and the breakfast is included in the room rate and it is quite good, with toast, muffins, waffles, cereals, yogurt, milk, coffeee, tea and fruit.
The room was a bit old, but confortable.
The room was large and had a fride and airconditioning. The location of the motel was close to the park and there was a good restaurant near by. The motel has plenty of nice spots to enjoy the sunset (I liked the gazebo)
The rooms were old and are in need of refurbishment. The bathroom smelled bad. We had a room in the back with no view.
Stay in the garden and swimming pool
all was great
They first put us in a smoking room after we requested nonsmoking, then moved us to a room that was very stinky.
The staff was very friendly.
There were stains all over the carpet. The fridge made so much noise I had to unplug it. The cable channels and reception were horrible. The water pressure in the shower was bad and there was a light out in the bathroom so taking a shower in the dark was not fun.
Good value, free wi-fi
Excellent, attentive service provided by owner and staff. Great overall value. We will certainly stay here again when we return to Sequoia National Park.
