Pros: The staff went above and beyond. The view and locations great. Beautiful & cozy.
Cons: The loud snow groomers at 3 Am in the morning.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a perfect stay from check in to checkout. From the time Stuart and Shane checked us in and finding accommodations for my Corvette and Harley, all the way till to our final breakfast, this was an ideal place to stay on the mountain. And speaking of the included breakfast, Shane wasn't lying when he said it was the best in all of Telluride. The room had a balcony, fire place , small kitchen and a steam shower, which included use of a private hot tub on the top floor overlooking the mountain. We will be back next year, same time.
Cons: It was all good!
9,4 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very good, the food was excellent, the steam bath on the fireplace were nice, the location is good next to the gondola, had a nice big balcony.
Cons: I didn't have much of a view. The bedroom was a little cramped.

Pros: Unique in its layout... Nice atmosphere and decor...
Cons: Not that we were there to watch TV.. But we had one show we wanted to see (being the time we were there was perfect) and it was the only station that had bad "snow reception".. Figures.. No ice vending on our floor, I suppose we were to call for it.

Pros: location was great and rooms were clean
Cons: noise from bar went until 130AM on Saturday night. Rooms were cramped
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was the best!
Cons: The hot tub isn't open in the winter...which is the only time when you would want it.
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable and beautiful old hotel. Great service. High price was a negative and the cable was broken. I did not get to watch tv, but my breakfast was free. 5-star service. Great rooms and charming feel.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The new Sheridan hotel is a beautiful building with a great location right in downtown Telluride, you walk outside and are right in the downtown street with beautiful mountain views all around. The inside of the hotel was lovely, it had this great old time feeling and was beautiful. The room was very nice and very clean, it was comfortable.
Cons: The hotel room while beautiful and clean was so tiny, for what we paid to stay there for two nights I couldn't believe how small it was, the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. They also advertise on their website that they have hot tubs, I called the front desk to ask how late they were open and the guy told me they didn't have hot tubs and when we tried to go up to the rooftop deck, the door was locked but we could see hot tubs up there. I just thought it was interesting that he said they didn't have any when we could obviously see them, it's one thing to say they're not open right now but why'd he have to lie?

Pros: Location and decore were beautiful, really liked the balcony on our room.
Cons: Wished this hotel had better access to food on site.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! Staff super friendly, helpful and awesome!
Cons: The bar only had two types of draft beer and no bottled beers . They need to add a few more....
9,7 Excellent
Pros: I'm in hotels about 75 nights a year for work and this was my first time in Telluride, and the hotel was great in every regard, but the staff is what really made this hotel a 5 Star place, especially Ron and Niko. The streets were covered in snow and ice and Ron and Niko toted us everywhere in town in the suburban shuttle. They were so friendly and knowledgeable about Telluride and just couldn't have been a better representation of the town. Can't wait to go back!
Cons: The breakfast in the little restaurant was pricey and the food wasn't that good, I'd recommend exploring the town for breakfast places.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed in several places for several years in Telluride. This hotel has the best hotel beds you will ever sleep in period.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I had never been to Telluride. As I looked on Kayak this hotels price and pictures caught my eye. It was exactly how the pictures looked. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was very helpful and they have a free shuttle service to take you wherever you need to go!
Cons: Only one thing that left a bad taste in my mouth. We woke up Saturday morning at 9am to order room service and the person who answered was very rude and said "Were not doing room service right now, were understaffed and extremely busy!" Then hung up....when we walked by the restaurant an hour later it was closed and empty?
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very nice and cozy. Room was spacious (once we got in the correct one). And location was ideal.
Cons: The check in staff seemed confused about our room. After the 3rd try we finally got in the Junior Suite room we had reserved. There was a "welcome bag" on the bed with water, sunscreen, pain reliever, chips and an inexpensive mp3 player. We often get these at various resorts so we thought it was a nice touch. Turns out the bag was meant for a wedding party but there was no name tag on the bag or any indication it was for a wedding. Upon checkout, my husband, 13 year old son, and myself were independently grilled about what happened to the bag and the contents of it. I even received a vm from a staff member. I consider this extremely unprofessional as this was a hotel error by not having their room assignments correct. On another note, the shuttle driver was very nice, pleasant and helpful.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Beds to high!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome Place, what I call an old fashioned hotel. Big rooms, great decor, friendly staff and pet friendly. Even had a sign up to welcome our dog. It was off season so the restaurant was not open but the staff drove us to anywhere we wanted to eat.. Loved the balcony allowing us to sit outside with our coffee.
Cons: Bed to high
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, cozy lobby, just nice enough without being too fancy. Wonderful buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. Great place to stay for ski vacation.
The Peaks Resort And Spa - Telluride - Building
8,9 Excellent (617 reviews)
R6 368+
Overview Reviews
The upscale Peaks Resort and Spa offers a great ski-in/ski-out Mountain Village location and is one of the largest and most amenity-packed properties in the Mountain Village and Telluride area. The huge mountain lodge features endless entertainment and appeals mostly to families. Perched 800 feet above downtown Telluride, The Peaks Resort and Spa is in Mountain Village, near the ski slopes where the gondola serves as the main transportation between the towns. Mountain Village caters only to tourists through easy access to slopes. Built like a European skiing village, the town offers a handful of different plazas packed with restaurants, bars, and other entertainment. The prime location on the far end of Mountain Village means that the town attractions are just a short drive away, but the views are endless and dramatic from the decks of the resort. The destination seems to favor skiing, but the resort is definitely meant for relaxation through many amenities. The resort offers a 42,000 square foot spa and fitness center with tons of treatments and classes, it is also one of the largest in Colorado. The indoor/outdoor pool offers fantastic views and a waterslide, and the on-site golf course and tennis course provide another sport for guests to enjoy. Several dining options are available and include a seasonal breakfast buffet, coffee shop, and a year-round restaurant offering local fare. Accommodations are large, spacious, and upscale, ranging from guestrooms and suites with modern amenities. They feature a contemporary mountain feel, with standard features such as plush bathrobes, mini-fridges, and iPod docks. There are two types of suites, Alpineglow and Grande, that families enjoy because they offer more space.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, location, spa facilities Got a great deal last minute
Cons: Resort fee is annoying - just include it upfront Room felt a little dated - bed surprising uncomfortable (too soft) for a 4-star hotel. I had 120 hotel nights in 2015, and this was less comfortable than any of them Still four stars because everything else was good
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular views, easy access to Mountain Village shops and the gondola, good recreation facilities, including outstanding gym and indoor/outdoor pools. If you like hiking, there are numerous hikes within walking distance, ranging from fairly easy to really challenging. We were there last week of August, which is a slack time for visitors, so had no difficulty finding reservations for any service we wanted, either at the hotel or elsewhere. The property is well maintained, and we had excellent weather, so spent considerable time outside. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful, although there are clear variations in experience level.
Cons: The first room we were given was a disaster. The hotel switched us to a second room quickly, but the construction in the next door room sounded like multiple jackhammers operating simultaneously. Hotel staff understood why they needed to move us to a third room, but should have known about the construction next to the second room before putting us there. The third room was attractive, with a great view and balcony, but the air conditioning didn’t work and the mattress on the bed was very worn and uncomfortable - made sleeping difficult. With a good mattress and better climate control, the third room would have been great.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities
Cons: Staff needs a bit of training. Service was only so so.

7,7 Good
Pros: It was a nice, basic mountain lodge. Clean and had a great patio view.
Cons: Definitely more for skiing season. The room had one bedroom and a small living room that was small/slightly uncomfortable to hang out in. A better place if you just need to sleep.
6,2 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and tried to help . . .
Cons: The room (which we could not see when reserving on Kayak) was literally the smallest hotel room I've ever seen - a glorified closet actually. We also could not determine if it had one queen or two doubles - the fact of a single double proved highly difficult for my 19 year old daughter and I since it literally took creative engineering to fit the cot in the room . . . all this for only $200+ per night . . . buyer beware
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view from the room, comfortable bed, easy walk to the nearby gondola that goes to town, relaxing hot tub and sauna.
Cons: The lower level room didn’t let in a lot of light and the hallway could get a little noisy from other guests and the housekeepers. Complementary breakfast, or a voucher for the restaurant, would have been appreciated.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Difficult to describe the resort. We arrived late and no one was there to check us in. Keys were left. Easy to access and everything was in order. We were there just to sleep and up the next morning to next location. Overall everything was fine.
8,6 Excellent
Pros: Mister in room for dry air. Tub size. Bed comfort.
Cons: Price. No stopper for bathtub.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Accessible to slope, and the Gondolas. Very clean and beautiful.
Cons: Although I didn't really need to interact with staff, I witnessed some troubling customer service. Get angry at them, and they get angry right back. Made it a little awkward waiting to ask a question with a guest and person behind the desk yelling at each other.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views with great access to the town via the free gondola. Pool has amazing views!
7,3 Good
Pros: Great bed, hot shower, great views
Cons: Staff was a bit young and really unprofessional. A huge party over 2 days took place at the common area with blasting rapping music and 100 college aged kids taking over the pool and hot top so a 30 something like me wasn't able to relax in the tub at 10pm after the days activities. The staff didn't try to stop anything from happening. Would not stay here again.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: power outage

Cons: The only issue was that I didn't stay longer.

Pros: Great locationn one block off main street
Cons: Updated old motel. Pretty standard room , generic. Noisy guests. On street parking worked out bur did not like absence of any storage for our bikes that sat overnight through a storm.
