8,5 Excellent
Pros: The people and facillities were fantatsic
Cons: 40 dollars a night for parking, very expensive food and drink
7,9 Good
Pros: We booked here for one night but we liked it so much we ended up staying 4 nights. The hotel is perfectly located on top of the mountain close to all ski lifts and the free gondola. The rooms are very comfortable and roomy. The bed a little too soft though. There is a very nice pool with amazing view. There are plenty of outdoor of activities around. The free gondola is absolutely fantastic and gives you a fabulous view of the town. The town of Telluride is so beautiful and authentic. There are amazing restaurants as well.
Cons: Not much except that the town is pretty high in altitude and can be a little uncomfortable sometimes. The service at the pool bar could be improved
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful setting and facility... top notch from top to bottom.
Cons: There was NOTHING I didn’t like.... really quite flawless... absolutely cannot go wrong with this place... we will DEFINITELY return!!!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel, the staff, the welcome beer or cider, the location and scenery were spectacular.
Cons: It was a little expensive for off season.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Unique in its layout... Nice atmosphere and decor...
Cons: Not that we were there to watch TV.. But we had one show we wanted to see (being the time we were there was perfect) and it was the only station that had bad "snow reception".. Figures.. No ice vending on our floor, I suppose we were to call for it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was incredible from the valets to the housekeeping staff! They were so helpful and very friendly
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Madeline was above and beyond our expectations. The fitness room had more than we needed, the pool and hot tubs were the perfect temperature with a magnificent view of the mountains and sunset. The complimentary s'mores was a nice touch as well.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and elegant hotel in the mountain village. Easy gondola ride to old town for restaurants.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My family and I had a pleasant stay at the Madeline Hotel. The first night at the hotel we, unfortunately, had a room next to a dog that was barking all night. The manager accommodated us completely by switching our bedroom to a different floor; without knowledge, the room was a tremendous upgrade. We couldn't have been more thrilled. The pool, hot tub & steam room were a must after hiking and walking around Telluride. We were more than pleased with all the amenities the hotel had to offer. Doug was a gentleman who greeted us as we pulled into valet; he was beyond kind and made us feel right at home. He was helpful with all the information we asked, patient and his smile never once left his face. The warm hospitality of Doug, Kerry, and the staff at The Madeline were above and beyond. We will most definitely be back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place to stay up in the mountain village. It's a 3 minute walk to the free gondola which will take you straight down to town. The room was luxurious and the welcome beer was a nice touch as well!

Pros: Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!! Seriously this is a must!

Pros: This extraordinary boutique hotel was a perfect mix of elegance, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service! Everyone from the valet to the front desk exceeded our expectations, and made us feel like we belonged here. Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff.
Cons: Having to leave at the end of our stay...
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, classy boutique hotel. I made a mistake on the reservation and needed to add one more night. Staff accomplished this without skipping a beat.
Cons: A bit pricey. Had to take to elevators or stairs to get to room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Telluride is an amazing place to visit for starters! The Lumiere was beautiful! The boutique style hotel was perfect for our weekend getaway. The room was larger than most. The valet and front desk attendants were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was set up in a buffet style but there were not any hot items except the option for toast or bagels. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We spend our honey moon at the Lumiere Hotel. They gave us an upgrade in our room, it was fantastic! The staff were very attencious and the acommodation is perfect!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Swimming pool didn't work. Breakfast lack of variety, better if there are higher quality fruits
7,9 Good
Pros: The staff was outstanding in every aspect of our expectation. Our luggage was lost and they were great about seeing to it that we were informed when it arrived. The breakfast layout was second to none that we have ever experienced!!!
Cons: The late night false fire alarm was trying. However, I do appreciate the concession. the biggest complaint that we have is that the bed is far too hard for our comfort. I am not sure but it just seems way too hard and we hardly slept all weekend.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel. The staff was amazing. I cant wait to come back and stay again.
Cons: I wish I was staying longer

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, right next to gondola loading area, quiet, 10%discount for spa treatments, spa located near lobby. Fireplace in room. Robes provided for hot tub/sauna. Great breakfast included.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We love Camel’s Garden. Amazing location and facility any time of year.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: First thing I want to say: the pictures do not do it justice! We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was so spacious! We loved our view of the gondola and sunsets between the mountains, from the rooms or the lovely balcony which was perfect for coffee and wine. The bathtub was amazing. Huge and with a sloped wall to lean back and relax. Fireplace was pretty and easy to use. Bed was extremely comfortable. We traveled as a group of 3 and the sofa was also extremely comfortable - so much so that I didn’t even attempt the sofa bed, but I suspect it was at least adequately comfortable too given the quality of the couch. Didn’t use the steam room but it looked great. Hot tub was phenomenal for a soak looking up at the peaks. Lending library, breakfast included (with lox! And views and breakfast area!), free apples, location near at least three great restaurants, all great bonuses. Oak which is the restaurant in the lobby is a solid and fun BBQ place with a very diverse menu - even vegans could find good options. Didn’t use the Aveda salon and spa which is right off the lobby but for a longer stay that would have been perfect. Also didn’t have a chance to use the hiking trails that are right by it but that’s another perk for those who are staying long enough to do that. Staff was extremely friendly and professional, and in conversation we learned the owners are excellent employers, which is a nice finishing touch. This place is on the affordable end of Telluride, particularly for still having a flexible booking policy. Don’t hesitate!
Cons: Nothing! Extremely light sleepers may want to request a room further from Oak and the Gondola Plaza. Noise was over by 11 for us on weekdays, not sure if that’s longer on weekends, but wasn’t too loud and blockable with earplugs.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: There are wonderful perks with this hotel.

5,8 Okay
Pros: Our breakfast waiter was exceptional.
Cons: The pillows offer no support, the luggage rack was broken, the shower pressure is low, and our room was super noisy. The ear plugs provided were not helpful.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location, historic charm, on-site restaurant was exceptional
Cons: Small-ish room and bathroom, lots of stairs may not be for everyone
9,6 Excellent
Pros: location.
Cons: parking.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect
Cons: Very noisy at night and early morning Our room was over the kitchen and bar
9,4 Excellent
Pros: Super comfortable and beautiful old hotel. Great service. High price was a negative and the cable was broken. I did not get to watch tv, but my breakfast was free. 5-star service. Great rooms and charming feel.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very cute restored hotel, centrally located in Telluride. Everything is within walking distances. The only room for improvement would be to include a mini-fridge in the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and a real friendly feeling all round!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect and far better than anticipated. Randall was exceptional!
Cons: Everything was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent. The staff at the hotel and service at the restaurant was exemplary. Located in the heart of the downtown of Telluride.
Cons: No a/c in rooms and you have to leave the window open for ventilation and the ceiling fan going in the summer. As a result, you get street noise. We were on the 2nd floor.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beds were amazing, location was ideal and the food and staff were great.
Cons: Poor cooling mechanism for the room, had to open the windows and use the ceiling fan and it still didn’t get cool enough for my liking.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was very good. Service was excellent.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location is great, right in downtown and about 2 blocks from gondola. I suggest not getting the high priced room with city view, because along with that you get bar patrons who are very loud, they also tie their dogs up to bench out from while they’re in the bar. The dogs bark, whine and occasionally fight right below your window. Also the noise starts in the bar right below the room when they are cleaning about 6:30 AM, banging and sliding furniture around. Parking: the parking is not on site. You have to park in the residential neighborhood and may be 2-8 blocks away, depending on where you can find a spot, that’s what they call “parking” The room was clean and comfortable, but not worth the money. I would get a less priced room in the back away from front.
The Hotel Telluride - Telluride - Building

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, and an inviting atmosphere were my first impressions upon arrival. Well furnished, tastefully decorated in an Old-Mountain-West theme as a tip of the hat to the Telluride mining heritage. My room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed a quiet dinner at the bar/lounge, and the food and service were exceptionally good. The hotel has limited underground garage parking that is accessed with card key. Like with most mountain towns, space is at a premium, and the hotel uses their space very efficiently. Hotel is dog-friendly, and while that wasn’t a consideration for this trip, it was a welcome sight. Classy, quiet, and discreet, Hotel Telluride is a gem and highly-recommended. I’d definitely stay here again. Two thumbs up.
Cons: I had an accessible room with a large bathroom. Not that I need those features, but while the bathroom had ample space to roll in, and had sturdy grab bars around the toilet and tub, the latter puzzled me: why a tub/shower in an accessible room? I can’t imagine how the choreography for a shower would work with the tub impediment, even though the shower wand was superb. The king size bed was simply wonderful, but again from an accessibility perspective, it was about 32” from the floor to the top of the bed, and I think that would be a struggle for someone with accessibility concerns. Not meant as a criticism per se, because the hotel is truly wonderful, but more of a head scratcher observation.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast looked so bad we never tried it. Bathroom was old and crummy. Shower awful. Not a top hotel and far too expensive. Poor location, far from center of town.
Cons: Redo bathroom, have a decent breakfast and charge a fair price. Don’t pretend this is a luxury hotel when it is very mediocre.
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel in the middle of town
Cons: You could hear the water coming down the pipes from the other rooms. So was a bit loud for me.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room with balcony . Room service was good. Very near the centre of Telluride.
Cons: Expensive.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Their West End Cafe restaurant at the hotel was wonderful for dinner and the price was fair. The buffet breakfast was overpriced for 2 seniors who don’t eat very much in the morning. The room was nicely appointed and the sofa was comfortable for relaxing.
Cons: The free bikes available were deficient. Just the old fashioned foot brake and no gears. They also did not have a woman’s bike so it was uncomfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: So many great amenities and an awesome location. The staff was so amazing. Dave-O, the driver is the most incredible guy and tour guide and makes you feel so welcome. He is helpful, friendly and kind. Jessie is an awesome front desk girl.
Cons: I wasn’t a fan of the buffet breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great beds
Cons: Pillows
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel Telluride is such a wonderful place in the most magical place on earth! Sarah at the front desk came outside to wave me in at 1:30am because it was late, I was tired and my GPS was inoperable. She was patient and made me feel very welcome. Then I was greeted by Dave-O every morning with a friendly smile and kind words. I highly recommend this hotel. The customer service is top rate and the location is right as you pull into town.
Cons: That I couldn't stay longer than I did. My room backed up to the high school where I was attending the yoga festival so it was incredibly convenient to everything.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: very nice
Cons: Small eating area and small pillows that get flat
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was very good. Property is very attractive
Cons: Room was in noisy location. Lots of traffic noise
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, cozy lobby, just nice enough without being too fancy. Wonderful buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. Great place to stay for ski vacation.
6,7 Good
Pros: The drivers were awesome. On site parking. Close proximity to Clark’s
Cons: The phone in the room didn’t dial out to front desk or kitchen. The kitchen staff acted put out by the business we were giving them. The front desk again acted like things were a chore when asked to assist with something.

3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Beautiful views, walking distance to gondola. Friendly staff.
Cons: Decent amount of mold in the grout and ceiling of the bathroom shower. Charged $25/night resort fee and $24/night valet fee not known at time of booking. Pool/ hot tubs closed at 8pm. No microwave in room. Too warm at night with no A/C.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The spa, workout facilities and both pools were wonderful.
Cons: The beds were quite soft. Our room was close to the atrium and the noise from there was quite loud. We finally complained at 12:30 am, but were surprised that the hotel staff didn’t ask them to quiet down earlier. We also had a room next to a barking dog
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel views and proximity to event. Easy walk to tram and access to town
Cons: No real dislikes.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most amazing experience! We went for my husband’s birthday and the resort went above and beyond! They made sure that we got an upgraded room and a bottle of champagne for no extra cost! The location was also amazing and only took about five minutes walking to get to the gondola. We didn’t have to get our car once while we were there.
Cons: That the valet parking for $24 a night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the resort. The location and the weather was wonderful.
Cons: Some of the stuff at the front desk seemed a little annoyed every time we went to the front for something but overall they were polite.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really polite and curtious. Very clean place.
Cons: The only complaint I have would be the bed we slept on. I know everyone is different but our bed was really hard. Didn't sleep well any night. Jets in the master bath tub didn't work also. Was disappointing to get in there to relax and they didn't work.
4,6 Okay
Cons: The staff was awful, especially the greeter, Coach Brown. The hotel was basically empty yet they refused to give me a room with a view. So for $350/night, we had a great view of the parking lot
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and the location was spectacular! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was excellent, especially the view from the patio. This is a pet friendly property too!
Cons: Valet parking is expected at a property like this and the attendants were fantastic, but it was a bit cumbersome to not have easier access to your vehicle at a moments notice.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and very clean. Easy and quick to check in and out. Beautiful scenery.
7,9 Good
Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Room was hot even with window open
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and walking distance to the plaza
Cons: I loved the property but the staff could have been a little nicer.
7,1 Good
Pros: I thought the property and the location were great. Very dog friendly, even for large breeds. The staff was helpful and courteous and the amenities were nice.
Cons: They have a mandatory valet which I find annoying, because it wasn’t complementary ($20 is a bit excessive if I don’t have a choice in the matter). Their pet fee is a flat rate for the stay so staying longer is better to not feel like you’re being gouged ($75 is high). Add in the resort fee and the rate you pay on booking isn’t close to what you end up paying. It was nice, but just not sure it’s worth it. It came out to almost $320 for one night, with no room service or anything like that.

9,6 Excellent
Cons: parking is valet only==except those that drove and parked themselves. still hope they had to pay for the valet same as us
1,0 Poor
Cons: During our stay a student party took place on the hotel grounds. Neither the pool nor the hottub could be used by other guests. We were quartered in the same building as the students and they celebrated until 5 o'clock in the morning. It was very loud.
6,7 Good
Pros: The location - the proximity to the free gondola is wonderful. The patio is great and the view is amazing. The restaurant it is connected to - The View - was good and the staff was great.
Cons: The mattress was terrible. The door on our room would only shut if we forced it to shut. The toilet ran for about 15 minutes after every flush. The room was super small, luckily didn't have to spend a lot of time in it.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Lobby and bar, resort
Cons: Someone had peed and didn't flush the toilet in my room, cheap and minimalist furniture, no desk in the bedroom to work, building location very unpractical versus front desk, very noisy all night and morning...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The pool and hot tub features made the stay super pleasant. The staff went up and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, they brought a mini fridge almost immediately after my phone call asking for one. Everybody seemed happy working there and the manager at front desk has been wonderful. The view of mountains and the gondola was unbeatable. Good value for money!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Stayed here once before and will stay again and again! Staff is so friendly and helpful!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Gondola super easy to get down into town.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: All was good
7,0 Good
Pros: The facility was clean.
Cons: Parking was a mess. I was required to pay a fee of $ 40- to park for 2 days. Some people were not required to pay the fee?? There was not adequate parking and the space allocated to turning, parking and spacing was not adequate. there were numerous construction trucks taking up parking space. Many guests arrived in large vehicles which overwhelmed the limited space to park and navigate the narrow driveway.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful mtn views. Lovely suite. Super clean & comfortable. Loved our accommodations. We will be back. Excellent value
Cons: The parking situation was unconventional & very inconvenient
7,9 Good
Pros: Location relative to the gondola and trails
Cons: Lighting in bathroom, housekeeping reliability, and restuarant food variety.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The view restaurant was adequate if you wanted to eat at the hotel. The facilities are beautiful and close walking distance to the gondola to get into Telluride. Trails are outside your door, and staff was very accommodating and super friendly.
Cons: There is a whirlpool tub in the shower and the drain did not work in order to use the tub. Not crazy about paying for daily parking and having to call valet for the car every time we needed it but it was easy and accommodating.

4,6 Okay
Pros: This place is a dump, but a clean dump it is. Perfect for college kids on a budget. And that’s about it.
Cons: Everything. I especially loved the freshly painted powder blue walls and the lovely fake onyx vanity. The worn oak furnishings and the indoor outdoor carpet were very special as were the cheap plastic fans in the windows. What didn’t I like? Guess.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Easy checkin, was helped figuring out parking during a very busy weekend, pretty clean, great location.
Cons: Room was not worth the price for that night, but I do understand why they (all hotels in telluride) charge what they charge during festivals. Just a misty shower head (or lack there of). Pillows super squishy. Not much to speak of for the free breakfast.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, free parking, friendly staff with good recommendations, excellent free breakfast in the morning.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great location. Luttle patking but we stayed on saturday night so permit not needed.
Cons: Gel in shower and bathroom area empty. No back up soap. Breakfast skimpy, coffee fair. Would expect at least premium coffee. Yogurt, cereal were offerings. Expensive stay if you have continental breakfast at least make it a nice one with mire tgan a motel 6 presentation.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Great staff. Close to everything
6,0 Good
Pros: This was just fine for our one-night stay in an otherwise expensive town. The quality of the sheets and towels was excellent, bed comfortable. The minor issue that we had was dealt with quickly and courteously.
Cons: Tiny. No curtains to block the light that is on all night. The TV is directly above the microwave, which is sitting on the mini-fridge. The outlets barely grip whatever you try to plug in. I'm guessing they have more expensive rooms with nicer amenities.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Room - not nice, looking from the bed at the refrigerator and the microwave. Night stand light was not working, could not close the shower door. carpet in the room was not clean looking, room rather depressing. Breakfast room very small and crowded, had to leave.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It was very conveniently located to walking downtown. The ski lift was a block away. We stayed on the bottom ( first floor) that looked at a cement wall stacked with ladders. It appears they may have just painted the room ( perhaps preparing for the ski season?) there was nothing on the walls, only a small oscillating fan for air circulation, and the bathroom was extremely small, hardly enough elbow room to dry your hair. And I miss a mirror in the room, although, that’s me! I like a full body view. The check in personal was extremely nice. The breakfast room consist of only 3-4 small tables where everyone gathered for breakfast, I could see it get crowded and uncomfortable. Yes...I would stay there again because I love the location..I’d just out the room assigned.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Loved that it was very clean, bed was comfortable and great location!
Cons: No complaints
4,2 Okay
Pros: The MOTEL was convenient to the downtown Telluride area. The room was clean and partially renovated.
Cons: The staff was not friendly in the least. They insisted we park our motorcycles on the street. Claimed we were taking up 3 spots if we didn't??? Two motorcycles in one spot - don't know how that equals 3 spots. Apparently she failed basic math. As we were parking our motorcycles on the street she then came out and tried to tell us how to park them - on a PUBLIC street! We politely declined her advice. The name "Victorian Inn" makes it sound old, quaint, and fancy. The only thing it is, is old. It is an old MOTEL. Plain and simple. All rooms are outdoor entrance. Our room faced a street light that shined into the room all night. They only have window blinds, no curtains to block the light. It was light enough I could read without turning a light on. There is no AC. Not an issue during the ski season, but we were there in September and it was quite warm. The small window fans did not cut it. I would understand if this was a cheap motel, but for $200/night in the off season that is unacceptable. The breakfast was unforgettable. Standard 2 star hotel / Hampton Inn fare. Also, the lobby is so small that people would rush through breakfast so others could sit down.
6,7 Good
Cons: The 1st room we checked into had a television not hooked up and the thermostat would keep increasing after setting the temp. The 2nd morning the property moved us to a better room and credited us $75 for our 4 day stay which was fair.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location was good. Facility was clean. Front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: No elevators. Extremely limited parking in a town that has limited street parking. No air conditioning, only fans put in the window...noisy and let in outside noise. Bed frames were wobbly and mattress kind of hard. We had to leave early due to altitude difficulties and property has yet to contact us about a refund of second night even though we’ve called and left repeated messages. Website said they had no vacancy that night so they must have rented out the room.
