Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was delicious and fast. Location great. Host and hostess, Charlie and Melissa couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Absolutely loved it!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The owners are absolutely amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help with anything. The breakfasts are to die for! My wife really enjoyed the large soaking tub in the Sea Witch room.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Location and access were great.
Cons: For the price there should have been access to a refrigerator. A small refrigerator in the room would have been perfect. Information indicated a hot tub. Unfortunately, due to no fault of the owners it was not present. It would have been nice to know ahead of time. Self-service ice would have been nice, but understand that Covid made this difficult.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nothing to not like! Beautiful, quaint Victoria style home. Impeccably decorated and clean. The owners, Charlie and Melissa, are delightful— very personable and attentive. We WILL be back!!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Fresh and homeade
Cons: Would have liked to have coffee, tea, hot water available in the evening
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast served was amazing and delicious. The rooms were private and quiet. The owners were gracious hosts. The place is centrally located.
Cons: The TV was very small. We wanted some ice.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very clean and well kept.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Fabulous stay staff very friendly and helpful with area activities. The breakfasts were awesome. Will be back if I ever come to this area again
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We’ve decided staying in Ouray at the China Clipper B & B will be a yearly destination for my husband and I. Ouray has its own special charm and yet staying with Melissa and Charlie made it all the more better. I’ll definitely be telling my friends and family to stay here when they visit Ouray.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, great staff and an overal beautiful old Inn with great rooms from the past
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Pam and Jeremy are super nice and accommodating. Pam's cooking really pushed the whole experience over the top. I stayed for three nights and had totally different, amazing breakfasts each day. Can't wait to come back! Also, the hot tub is massive, modern and clean.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was delicious, beds were super comfy and in-room fireplace was cozy. Innkeeper was generous enough to upgrade us because she wasn't there to check us in when we arrived. Fantastic customer service.
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Best free breakfast ever. Location to free gondola a plus. Appreciate the upgrade also.
Cons: Parking charge a surprise and unavoidable.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Comfy bed & deep jacuzzi tub. Nice balcony. Excellent & very helpful staff! All of them!!
Okay 5,0
Pros: The front desk staff, location and breakfast were very good.
Cons: I asked to have the air conditioning unit looked at on the second and fourth day of our stay because the unit made a loud sound all the time even when turned off. It was difficult for me to sleep. I was told the maintenance person looked at the unit but did not receive any feedback as to the cause or to a solution to the problem.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Nice room. Quiet. Great scenery. Breakfast was great.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good location at the base of mountain Breakfast was excellent.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The staff was very good, the food was excellent, the steam bath on the fireplace were nice, the location is good next to the gondola, had a nice big balcony.
Cons: I didn't have much of a view. The bedroom was a little cramped.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was a perfect stay from check in to checkout. From the time Stuart and Shane checked us in and finding accommodations for my Corvette and Harley, all the way till to our final breakfast, this was an ideal place to stay on the mountain. And speaking of the included breakfast, Shane wasn't lying when he said it was the best in all of Telluride. The room had a balcony, fire place , small kitchen and a steam shower, which included use of a private hot tub on the top floor overlooking the mountain. We will be back next year, same time.
Cons: It was all good!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff went above and beyond. The view and locations great. Beautiful & cozy.
Cons: The loud snow groomers at 3 Am in the morning.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location and great vibe. Tom's hospitality and Cindy's breakfast will have us coming back again.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: beautiful area, great breakfast cooked by our host nice cozy place to stay
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Tom and Cindi have a special place. It is tucked in the mountains in a way that provides views from all angles. An exceptional breakfast was served, and a nice social hour was provided. The pictures are accurate - our room was lovely, comfortable and as shown. It’s all of the little touches that they provide that make this a great place - highly recommend it! The hosts are easy to talk to and offer local suggestions for your time in beautiful Ouray.
Good 7,0
Pros: Good breakfast, nice people, interior of building is good.
Cons: Tiny room, plastic accordion like door on the tiny bathroom was not good at all, no gravel in the parking lot so guests have to walk through the muck, and it was mucky. Exterior needs some maintenance, repair, etc.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, great options.
Cons: The mud and snow, need to visit in the summer.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The location was very convenient in town and the full hot breakfast was exceptionally tasty with lots of options. They accommodated my gluten allergy.
Cons: We liked everything.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Tom and Cindy were incredible hosts! Breakfast was delicious every day, and happy hour was so much fun with Tom and Cindy playing guitar and singing. The view is incredible and the rooms are very nice. We had an amazing time, and this the only place I’d stay if I was coming back to the area.
Cons: No complaints at all.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The home is absolutely lovely, well appointed, and very comfortable. You can enter the room directly from outside, beds were very comfortable, and morning breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Our internet was not working well. But, we weren't there for the Ouray experience, not the internet!

Excellent 8,0
Cons: in room coffee
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was amazing! They were all so nice and accommodating! They all took COVID precautions seriously! I highly recommend!!
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I couldn’t be happier with the New Sheridan Hotel! The staff is beyond amazing, they make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms and closets are spacious. Finally, the location!!! Right on Main Street Telluride, and a short walk to the gondola. We loved everything about our stay here and I don’t have one bad thing to say.
Cons: I guess the only thing that would have made our stay better would be having a small fridge and coffee maker in our room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location, super friendly staff!
Excellent 9,0
Cons: PARKING
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location is prime for the village, and the facility is quite handsome, very well maintained. Plan your parking ahead of arrival, or suffer the consequences.
Cons: Coffee maker in the room would be huge
Excellent 10,0
Pros: okay
Cons: you definitely should have a handle bar on the wall entering the bathtub/shower....it is dangerous
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Our stay at the New Sheridan Hotel was very comfortable. We picked this hotel because of its history and central location. The room was cozy, as we opted for a smaller King room since we were going to spend most of our time outdoors. The highlight of the room was the heated floors.
Cons: One issue with our room (and I'm not sure if this applies to all of the rooms) is that it had a transom window above the doorway. While frosted, it still let in a considerable amount of light so the room was never completely dark. While I'm sure this is all part of the character of the hotel, I would recommend they add an adjustable curtain or something to help block out the hallway lights.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Super comfortable and beautiful old hotel. Great service. High price was a negative and the cable was broken. I did not get to watch tv, but my breakfast was free. 5-star service. Great rooms and charming feel.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: The new Sheridan hotel is a beautiful building with a great location right in downtown Telluride, you walk outside and are right in the downtown street with beautiful mountain views all around. The inside of the hotel was lovely, it had this great old time feeling and was beautiful. The room was very nice and very clean, it was comfortable.
Cons: The hotel room while beautiful and clean was so tiny, for what we paid to stay there for two nights I couldn't believe how small it was, the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. They also advertise on their website that they have hot tubs, I called the front desk to ask how late they were open and the guy told me they didn't have hot tubs and when we tried to go up to the rooftop deck, the door was locked but we could see hot tubs up there. I just thought it was interesting that he said they didn't have any when we could obviously see them, it's one thing to say they're not open right now but why'd he have to lie?
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was the best!
Cons: The hot tub isn't open in the winter...which is the only time when you would want it.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: location was great and rooms were clean
Cons: noise from bar went until 130AM on Saturday night. Rooms were cramped

Excellent 10,0
Pros: beyond wonderful staff and facilities and location
Cons: pillows
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Extremely in good conditions and very detailed cleaned.
Cons: Regarding the apartment, the living room does not have black out curtains, meaning that the person who sleeps in the sofa/bed gets all the light around 5.30am.
Excellent 10,0
Cons: The TV’s need to be upgraded. It’s 2021 and they still don’t have HD TV’s.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location for accessing the slopes was superb. Ski valet service at property made it very convenient. Requested a better view with Mountain View and staff made efforts to move us to improved room as was described at booking.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Setting, upgraded room, staff, location.
Cons: Plastic free (water bottles and shampoo)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This extraordinary boutique hotel was a perfect mix of elegance, attention to detail, and outstanding customer service! Everyone from the valet to the front desk exceeded our expectations, and made us feel like we belonged here. Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff.
Cons: Having to leave at the end of our stay...

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Great great great Location location
Good 7,0
Pros: Beautiful location
Cons: Most of the hot tubs were not usable due to repair. The ones working could have used some cleaning.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It’s a go to spot. Very quiet and so close to everything in Ouray. Great facility.
Cons: Convenient and clean and quiet.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Comfy room! Hot springs tubs are awesome! The staff very nice! Enjoyed our stay!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful surroundings! Room was clean, beds were comfortable-not too hard or too soft. Nice having a refrigerator & microwave in room. Sadly, we didn't get robes to use for the hot tub and foolishly didn't get in them. Coffee & pastries were available in the lobby for breakfast. Lots of hiking near by, close enough to walk to restaurants. Nice hosts. Lovely stay. Plan on returning and will definitely try hot tubs!
Cons: The robes for the hot tub would've been nice, thought they weren't available due to Covid but read other people got them. It was chilly at night Memorial Day weekend and we ended up not using the tubs, didn't pack anything to wear over bathing suits to walk back to room. I know, silly excuse.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent service at the front desk. The two ladies that helped me check in were so sweet and helpful on finding a place to eat
Cons: Just longer time for hot springs
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The location was great- beds are super comfy and the property is immaculate. We had a great time in Ouray. Ate great food and met some of the nicest people in Colorado. Rent a car however. You can walk everywhere in town but to drive to all of the beautiful areas surrounding Ouray its worth it. This property is tucked away but easy access to the main road.
Cons: I have no complaints.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The Box Canyon was well equipped. Great staff, extremely friendly. Great location in town. Very quiet. The hot springs on site were wonderful! Such a great bonus!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff was excellent throughout our stay.
Cons: Floors squeaked. Thankfully we were on the second floor, but felt bad for those under us.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: All of staff was very helpful and nice, especially Matt (I think that was his name). Rooms are comfortable and clean. I love the private hot springs! I've never had a bad experience at this Lodge.
Cons: I wish every room came with robes and slippers.

Pros: Nice offer
Cons: Not applicable
Excellent 10,0
Pros: convenient breakfast and coffee in the lobby.
Good 7,0
Pros: Great location right next to the free-gondola and ski lifts. Overall our room (suite) was very comfortable.
Cons: The outdoor hot pool could be maintained a bit more: - To get to it you have to go through stairs that would get covered in ice when it snows. I slipped on them once which was very painful. - I'm not sure how often the water was changed there but my impression was it wasn't every day.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location,room, garage,
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Camel's Garden is now our favorite hotel in Telluride. Breakfast was great, staff was great. AND our DOG loved the hotel. Great location for shopping and walking. We aren't skiers but we love the place. We WILL be back.
Cons: It was off season when we stayed so the check in was a little slow (just a little). Otherwise, great!
Good 7,0
Pros: Breakfast was terrible. A few snackbars and yogurt each morning was it.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Quick access to gondola.
Cons: My "balcony" was a first floor back door to a dingy area frequented by homeless drug addicts. So I kept it locked with my gun at my bedside. Restaurant ordering, especially mixed drinks, was a very stupid setup.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, right next to gondola loading area, quiet, 10%discount for spa treatments, spa located near lobby. Fireplace in room. Robes provided for hot tub/sauna. Great breakfast included.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: There are wonderful perks with this hotel.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great service and wonderful staff
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful and clean
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location is very close to the FREE Galloping Goose shuttle service bus stop!
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great service, cozy lobby, just nice enough without being too fancy. Wonderful buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. Great place to stay for ski vacation.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We have stayed in several places for several years in Telluride. This hotel has the best hotel beds you will ever sleep in period.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Awesome Place, what I call an old fashioned hotel. Big rooms, great decor, friendly staff and pet friendly. Even had a sign up to welcome our dog. It was off season so the restaurant was not open but the staff drove us to anywhere we wanted to eat.. Loved the balcony allowing us to sit outside with our coffee.
Cons: Bed to high
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Everything was great! Staff super friendly, helpful and awesome!
Cons: The bar only had two types of draft beer and no bottled beers . They need to add a few more....
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Beds to high!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location and decore were beautiful, really liked the balcony on our room.
Cons: Wished this hotel had better access to food on site.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The hotel was very nice and cozy. Room was spacious (once we got in the correct one). And location was ideal.
Cons: The check in staff seemed confused about our room. After the 3rd try we finally got in the Junior Suite room we had reserved. There was a "welcome bag" on the bed with water, sunscreen, pain reliever, chips and an inexpensive mp3 player. We often get these at various resorts so we thought it was a nice touch. Turns out the bag was meant for a wedding party but there was no name tag on the bag or any indication it was for a wedding. Upon checkout, my husband, 13 year old son, and myself were independently grilled about what happened to the bag and the contents of it. I even received a vm from a staff member. I consider this extremely unprofessional as this was a hotel error by not having their room assignments correct. On another note, the shuttle driver was very nice, pleasant and helpful.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: I'm in hotels about 75 nights a year for work and this was my first time in Telluride, and the hotel was great in every regard, but the staff is what really made this hotel a 5 Star place, especially Ron and Niko. The streets were covered in snow and ice and Ron and Niko toted us everywhere in town in the suburban shuttle. They were so friendly and knowledgeable about Telluride and just couldn't have been a better representation of the town. Can't wait to go back!
Cons: The breakfast in the little restaurant was pricey and the food wasn't that good, I'd recommend exploring the town for breakfast places.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: My husband and I had never been to Telluride. As I looked on Kayak this hotels price and pictures caught my eye. It was exactly how the pictures looked. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was very helpful and they have a free shuttle service to take you wherever you need to go!
Cons: Only one thing that left a bad taste in my mouth. We woke up Saturday morning at 9am to order room service and the person who answered was very rude and said "Were not doing room service right now, were understaffed and extremely busy!" Then hung up....when we walked by the restaurant an hour later it was closed and empty?

Good 6,0
Pros: The shower was great. Bed comfy, quiet and beautiful location. Looks like they're investing with new carpet. Breakfast was serviceable. Great for families, not a good place for singles or romantic getaway so much.
Cons: The hot springs were Luke warm springs. There were no showering facilities available around the hot spring pools, the water in the indoor adult pool was cloudy, probably due to laundry detergent in people's bathing suits. The private hot springs here was a big draw for me, so this was a huge deal and I wouldn't return. The other concern was check in. I understand we're all stressed a bit, but I just drove for hours and needed to use the bathroom BADLY. The front desk agent was a bit brusque and said they didn't have a public restroom.... I'm a guest!!!
Okay 5,0
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Resort fees. Small room. Staff was not friendly and welcoming at all.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Great Location, easy check-in! Easygoing hotel.
Cons: Property needs little bit of improvement.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: We enjoyed the hots springs, the proximity to downtown and hiking trails! Beautiful!
Cons: Restaurant service was very slow. They did not allow you to sit on the tables with outside food. That was not cool.
Good 7,0
Pros: The bed was comfortable, location was good.
Cons: The staff at check in was not so friendly or welcoming. No information given on anything other than where our room was. Room wise, supposed to be a Riverview and we had one small 2x2 window that you could see the river from looking straight down along with the power plant. I would not really call that a river view. I think the cost of the room was too high for the quality of stay....$175 when should have been more like $120.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff is very friendly and helpful. great location. the hot springs.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better. A lot of carpet and padding to go thru to get to our room.
Okay 4,0
Pros: I liked that we were able to use the hot springs and pool whenever we wanted with the 24 hour access. However, the lights turned off after midnight and it was difficult to see where the pool and the outdoor hot spring was.
Cons: When we booked our trip, we thought that we would be staying at the hotel- we ended up staying at the condos down the road from the hotel. At first we were excited that we will have access to a full kitchen and living room as well as a hot tub. Once we had booked, we learned that we would have to pay additional money in order to use the hotel's hot springs and have breakfast. Once we arrived and checked in, things took a turn for the worse. The condo was older and not well maintained. The hot tub was drained and not in use. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work and when we called the front desk, we were told that they didn't think that the wifi ever worked in our particular unit and gave us the wifi password for another unit. The trash was not emptied from when the previous people used it, which made us wonder if the sheets and towels were also clean. After paying the additional amount in order to use the hot springs, we went late that night. There were very few people at the pool and hot springs, which made the experience enjoyable. There were very few clean towels left, which was fine considering it was 11 pm. We returned the next day at 1 pm and there was the same amount of clean towels as there was the night before. The indoor hot spring is missing tiles and looks rundown. The outdoor hot spring is covered in algae, which you end up taking back with you once you leave. Had we been able to see the facilities the night before, we might have rethought our decision to use the hot springs. It's possible that our trip might have been better had we actually stayed at the hotel instead of at the condos that the hotel uses when they are full. It would have also been better if we had known that we would be using the condos when we had been browsing places to stay. A little more transparency would have gone a long way to enauring that we got what we paid for.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I love that the pool and hot tubs are available to use 24 hours. The free hot breakfast is great! There is laundry on site, as well as a gym. There's also free wifi and it's pretty good as long as the weather isn't too bad. Same for the satellite tv.
Cons: Not all rooms are the same! At first we were put into a very small room with the tv beside the bed, instead of across. I did not like that at all. But the staff was very nice and we were able to switch rooms. Parking may be an issue if the lodge is fully booked.

Pros: The staff was tremendous, always kind and helpful. The location is perfect. The room is lovely and far bigger than expected. Everyone had good space, so we were not on top of each other when we wanted dontime. The staff was very good with cleaning and COVID guidelines, much appreciated! We will be back.

Okay 5,0
Pros: view
Cons: Fireplace did not work and no one on staff was able (willing?) to help us. Bed seemed short, realized the king mattress was placed rotated 90° from standard so with our heads at the headboard we were literally sleeping sideways on the mattress. I think that was due to tight bed areas, if mattress was placed correctly it would be very tight to get past it. Parking was incredibly difficult to find, no loading/unloading zone was provided, so we had to move our vehicle when other cars wanted to pass.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The location was phenomenal! The staff was fantastic! Loved the pool and hot tub. We thought the room was a bit tight for a Jr. Suite and not exactly what we expected for the cost. But…we had an amazing stay and we would recommend for sure. You can’t beat the perfect location of this hotel and the staff. Also the on site restaurant was great! 😀
Cons: I think the room was small and packed with furniture. We needed to use pull out couch but because the room was small and full of furniture it made it very difficult. We expected a bit more space for the cost. Overall we had a great stay! 😀
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location, views and room were fabulous!
Cons: Customer service. No info about hiking trails or maps were offered or available. No suggestions for breakfast, a cup of coffee in the morning or dinner were offered when dining room was closed.

Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Location.
Cons: No service at all. Garbage and dirty laundry in front of our door 2 days in a row.
Good 7,0
Pros: Was fine, fireplace was nice.
Cons: Bathroom was super outdate, tub looked dirty. Entire building smelled. Perhaps it used to be a smoking building... it really lingered everywhere.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The views, the full kitchen, fireplace, and the entire property was amazing. It was also a 5 min walk to the market and gondola in order to go over to the town of Telluride.
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Beautiful view from the room, comfortable bed, easy walk to the nearby gondola that goes to town, relaxing hot tub and sauna.
Cons: The lower level room didn’t let in a lot of light and the hallway could get a little noisy from other guests and the housekeepers. Complementary breakfast, or a voucher for the restaurant, would have been appreciated.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: location
Cons: power outage
Good 7,7
Pros: It was a nice, basic mountain lodge. Clean and had a great patio view.
Cons: Definitely more for skiing season. The room had one bedroom and a small living room that was small/slightly uncomfortable to hang out in. A better place if you just need to sleep.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Difficult to describe the resort. We arrived late and no one was there to check us in. Keys were left. Easy to access and everything was in order. We were there just to sleep and up the next morning to next location. Overall everything was fine.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Accessible to slope, and the Gondolas. Very clean and beautiful.
Cons: Although I didn't really need to interact with staff, I witnessed some troubling customer service. Get angry at them, and they get angry right back. Made it a little awkward waiting to ask a question with a guest and person behind the desk yelling at each other.
Good 6,2
Pros: Staff was friendly and tried to help . . .
Cons: The room (which we could not see when reserving on Kayak) was literally the smallest hotel room I've ever seen - a glorified closet actually. We also could not determine if it had one queen or two doubles - the fact of a single double proved highly difficult for my 19 year old daughter and I since it literally took creative engineering to fit the cot in the room . . . all this for only $200+ per night . . . buyer beware
Excellent 8,6
Pros: Mister in room for dry air. Tub size. Bed comfort.
Cons: Price. No stopper for bathtub.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Amazing views with great access to the town via the free gondola. Pool has amazing views!
Good 7,3
Pros: Great bed, hot shower, great views
Cons: Staff was a bit young and really unprofessional. A huge party over 2 days took place at the common area with blasting rapping music and 100 college aged kids taking over the pool and hot top so a 30 something like me wasn't able to relax in the tub at 10pm after the days activities. The staff didn't try to stop anything from happening. Would not stay here again.

Cons: No drinking glasses or extra waters in the rooms
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great place loved our stay
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The staff was excellent. They accommodated requests and always seemed ready to help. And, we just enjoyed speaking with a number of them. Mason, the night shift person working the front desk was especially helpful.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Beautiful view, nice hotel, ski in ski out.
Cons: But, understaffed because of the COVID pandemic. Restrictions really diminished the experience we were to have in a beautiful place. Room service very limited.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The spa, workout facilities and both pools were wonderful.
Cons: The beds were quite soft. Our room was close to the atrium and the noise from there was quite loud. We finally complained at 12:30 am, but were surprised that the hotel staff didn’t ask them to quiet down earlier. We also had a room next to a barking dog
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Spectacular views, easy access to Mountain Village shops and the gondola, good recreation facilities, including outstanding gym and indoor/outdoor pools. If you like hiking, there are numerous hikes within walking distance, ranging from fairly easy to really challenging. We were there last week of August, which is a slack time for visitors, so had no difficulty finding reservations for any service we wanted, either at the hotel or elsewhere. The property is well maintained, and we had excellent weather, so spent considerable time outside. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful, although there are clear variations in experience level.
Cons: The first room we were given was a disaster. The hotel switched us to a second room quickly, but the construction in the next door room sounded like multiple jackhammers operating simultaneously. Hotel staff understood why they needed to move us to a third room, but should have known about the construction next to the second room before putting us there. The third room was attractive, with a great view and balcony, but the air conditioning didn’t work and the mattress on the bed was very worn and uncomfortable - made sleeping difficult. With a good mattress and better climate control, the third room would have been great.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Great staff, location, spa facilities Got a great deal last minute
Cons: Resort fee is annoying - just include it upfront Room felt a little dated - bed surprising uncomfortable (too soft) for a 4-star hotel. I had 120 hotel nights in 2015, and this was less comfortable than any of them Still four stars because everything else was good
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Great facilities
Cons: Staff needs a bit of training. Service was only so so.

Pros: Like the close proximity to the gondola and trails. Room rates were extremely reasonable for the area.
Okay 5,0
Pros: location
Cons: room
Mediocre 2,0
Pros: The location of the hotel was great! We were able to walk to all the food and shops and it was only a 5 minute drive to the hike we wanted to do.
Cons: We had no AC in our room and it made things miserable at night because it got so hot. The room was small and the beds were not comfortable and some cables were exposed on the baseboards. Definitely not worth the value of what we paid.
Mediocre 2,0
Cons: Nobody clean our room and change sheets nor towels. No breakfast as promotion on booking site.
Good 6,0
Pros: Great location. We got a cottage for a family of 4- it was small but worked for us.
Cons: The rate included breakfast but did not get breakfast on one of the days as the office remained closed. The day we did get breakfast - it was breakfast in a bag due to covid restrictions even though these restrictions are lifted.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location was good. Just a block off of main street
Cons: Parking was terrible. We found the only spot open upon arrival and did not dare drive until we left because we did not want to loose a parking spot. Other close by parking was pay only. Also, ads listed breakfast with the room. There was none when we left at 8 am.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Good location and clean and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was an apple orange and yoghurt and muffin in a paper bag.
Good 7,0
Pros: Great location and easy late check in
Cons: Air Conditioning did not work (was able to open window though), breakfast was advertised, however no one opened the main office
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was perfect for our family of 4 in a Cozy Cabin. We loved the location and the breakfast was great. Staff was super friendly and the room itself was great.
Good 6,8
Pros: Great locationn one block off main street
Cons: Updated old motel. Pretty standard room , generic. Noisy guests. On street parking worked out bur did not like absence of any storage for our bikes that sat overnight through a storm.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very nice staff! Friendly and good breakfast. Clean
Good 6,8
Cons: Noisy
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I couldn't be happier with my stay at the Victorian Inn. The staff is super friendly and made special accommodations for checking out. The room was immaculate and clean. The Inn is right next to downtown and the gondola making everything super convenient.
Cons: The only issue was that I didn't stay longer.
