Pros: Great room, but no comfortable chairs. Wifi very choppy. But staff great, food good, location brilliant - you can walk to blists hill and the china museum.

Cons: Wifi problems. It's an essential for me.

Pros: The hotel was good value for the price. Very basic accommodation, clean room, not bad breakfast. A little dated inside and could do with an overall outside but for the price, Good.

Pros: Good decent place. Clean and tidy nice breakfast. Nice people.

Cons: Beans could be hotter.. Lol

Pros: Like everything at the Lord Nelson. Stay regular 3 to 4 times every year, everything always good value for money. Free Parking around back-fresh cooked Breakfast-Warm throughout-spacious and comfortable Bedroom-Warm welcome every time. Love this place. Home from home always made to feel welcome. Chinese Restaurant and Pubs nearby. Station, Bus Station and shopping/Market only a short walk away.

Pros: I was impressed that I had a choice of a 'continental' or full breakfast and it was very reasonably priced (this was the extra I paid for). I didn't know the area and the staff were really helpful,one even walked me to the venue I had to visit.

Cons: The shower wasn't very hot. It was a bit disconcerting that the main door was locked even early in the evening and when I arrived.

Pros: Check in very easy and welcoming, provided easy directions to park and gave us a parking permit to park overnight for free. Small but comfortably warm (eventually see below) and cosy room, comfortable bed with nice decor and view over Ironbridge. Plenty of space for bags and clothes. Full english breakfast was very nice with choices tea coffee toast and cereals all available from the smiling lady who ran the breakfast.

Cons: Room cold on arrival with window left open when it was below 3 degrees and radiator turned off small issue easily rectified but meant we had to go out rather than settle in. Bigger issue was we couldn't have a bath as the lever that changes water flow from the shower to the bath was missing completely. There was no heating in the bathroom at all ie no raitor or heated towel rail. The noise from the macerator unit that went after every flush of the toilet was very loud. Advertised as 30 plus food options from the bar but nothing offered at all so went out to eat at the Indian restaurant just up the road. Bit disappointed as we were looking forward to eating in the bar with a local beer after our long journey and day.

Pros: We travelled with our two granddaughters and were in the family room it had lots of room for us to spread out and proper beds. The view was of the Ironbridge. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. I left my coat and Jenna was excellent posting it back to me and refusing reimbursement. Excellent service We were there to visit Blists Hill a 10 minute drive away and a great day out

Cons: They had a large party so a bit noisy but it ended promptly at 11 so wasn’t a problem it is a pub with rooms so noise might be expected

Cons: Our room was very old dated and dirty. The window was full of dead and alive wasps. We had to be moved.
