To he accomodations was excellent and the ow ner was a very pleasant, welcoming person and easy to talk to.The Breakfasts were excellent, and an evening meal on Wednesday cooked by the owner was first class, and would be hard to better anywhere
Neither of us had any problem with our experience at The Foundry Masters House. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to others.
The property was very welcoming and spotlessly clean. The room was large and roomy, plenty of tea and coffee facilities, flatscreen TV, it had plenty of storage in the room and had a large very comfy bed in it. The en suite bathroom was also large, homely and very clean. The location to all of the museums and attractions of ironbridge was superb too. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful and set us up for the day. The hosts Were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this property very highly, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit the area. A real home from home.
Nothing at all, there was nothing to dis like here, we were very satisfied with everything.
Superb breakfast. Vegetarian options available. Well cooked and plentiful. Comfortable bed, lovely and warm and plenty of hot water. Good location with plenty of pubs and restaurants a short walk away. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing we can think of.
We had an outstanding evening meal that Dawn produced, which we’d already arranged. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection ‘a la Cordon Bleu’ & served in the elegant dining room by candlelight, in her bijou Georgian home. A perfect Valentine’s Day treat! The bedroom was advertised as a small double, but was very comfortable & warm, with an excellent en-suite & the room size was adequate for us as we were travelling light. All the decoration & furniture was very attractive, comfortable & in keeping with the age of the residence. The breakfasts were also excellent, with plenty of choice of fresh produce, including home made breads, & a convivial event, as guests sit around the large dining room table together. Altogether it was an outstanding & very comfortable characterful stay. Having off street parking was also a bonus.
For us, it was perfect, except a safety handle or grab bar by the shower step could be helpful. There was nothing that I disliked. Unfortunately the property would not suit people with disabilities, with steps up the slope to the front door, & a short flight of steep stairs up to the bedrooms.
Great setting, really friendly hosts, excellent value for money remembering that this is a guest house not a hotel.
