Service was outstanding. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there and couldn’t have been happier with the way we were welcomed
Beautiful historic building. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent linens. The bathroom was large. Great shower pressure.
The staff seemed to be completely uninterested or incapable of answering questions or providing the kind of service one expects when staying in a luxury hotel. No one greeted us or offered any information. It makes me question the management and what the working conditions are like. Also, the breakfast and food in general was really expensive and poor quality when compared to the excellent level of food to be found around Tel-Aviv. Do yourself a favor and reserve a table at Mashya for breakfast. There is no beach entrance in the winter, which was not mentioned when we booked the hotel. In general, everyone working there seemed really unhappy and if you are someone who is sensitive to human energy, I wouldn’t recommend staying there.
Location is the only good thing about this hotel.
The cleaning staff are incompetent and leave rooms dirty and without replacing towels or loo roll. The management yell at their staff - maybe because they don't clean very well? The breakfast (I ordered something, not the buffet) was cold and completely undercooked. Staff were clueless and indifferent. The hotel is long overdue a refurb. This hotel would struggle to be 3 star, let alone 5. Clearly being managed into the ground. Avoid.
LOcation of the hotel was great.
the room was old looking...
Use of the king david lounge. Bell hops are friendly and helpful.
The room Reno is poor design. Lots of extra wood cabinetry with no purpose and not appealing visually. Can't view the city as bed and tables in the way of window. Get better room designers.
