Cons: The reading lights on the headboard of the bed are very precariously positioned. The food could be improved too, we ate in the lounge and on the terrace very average for this kind of hotel. The breakfast though was very elaborate.

Pros: Without doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is a breakfast to be enjoyed - I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and this is without doubt the best breakfast I have ever had! The facilities and staff are excellent, and in particular the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are no extra charges for lift passes, bikes (electric & normal), tennis courts etc. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I will hopefully return again - this hotel sets the benchmark that other hotels need to strive to achieve. Excellent.

Cons: They made me wait long time to pick me up at train station, send me a old trolley and then they charged me for the ride! I would preffer take a taxi for my own (i paid and do not wait) Concierge looks very stresfull and do not give proper information. Maybe i stayed ina a very busy weekend, but when you choose these type of hotels you expect more! Bedroom too small.

Pros: Our room upgrade on arrival was a pleasant surprise and the view from the room window was stunning! The room itself was large, very clean and well furnished. The bed was also comfy. This hotel was reasonably priced considering that it has a very well equipped wellness centre, which we used and a good restaurant which served fabulous food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay! This should be a four star rated hotel - a great place to stay.

Opening the curtains in the morning is a magical experience to be savored in a fluffy bathrobe with a ‘cuppa tea’ in hand. The walk-in closet, elegant bathroom with his/hers vanities & the luxurious bed are the standout features in a beautifully-designed suite where traditional Swiss accents blend perfectly into contemporary sophistication. I recommend breakfast in the Grand Restaurant. The selection of fresh fruit & cereals is unsurpassed. And of course, all the traditional breakfast items are available. It’s a sumptuous feast. You’ll feel immersed in a feeling of old world charm & finesse. Our Maître D' Enzo & his team were exceptional. The Kulm Spa is also one-of-a-kind. All guests have access to the heated outdoor & indoor pools, saunas & jacuzzi. The outdoor pool is heated to a comfy 34.4° and offers a wonderful view. But, the selection of Saunas is the real treat. Spend 15 mins in the Salt Water Steam Grotto and feel revived! The Spa treatments are also out-of-this-world. The Spa Manager Daria & her team will help you find the right healing indulgence for you. If you’re arriving by train then Michael, Pacio or any member of the resourceful Concierge team will arrange a complimentary pick-up. You will also receive a complimentary travel card upon check-in. A visit to Piz Nair on the cable car is an absolutely must. The vistas of the Engadine will (literally & figuratively) take your breath away... The Kulm Hotel is “refinement” personified, thanks to the passion & pride with which each member of staff attends to their duties. When I see people who love what they do, I find it inspiring. Pros: The decor was very elegant and classic. We also loved the spa area. The breakfast spread was also excellent! But the best part was the free mountain passes that came with our stay because we could explore the surrounding areas with them and we really enjoyed the spectacular views. Pros: - the location is somewhat off the Dorf, but since the hotel stay includes public transportation (which is excellent) this is hardly an issue- it rather guarantees a certain silence (that we did enjoy). Pros: The decor was very elegant and classic. We also loved the spa area. The breakfast spread was also excellent! But the best part was the free mountain passes that came with our stay because we could explore the surrounding areas with them and we really enjoyed the spectacular views. Pros: - the location is somewhat off the Dorf, but since the hotel stay includes public transportation (which is excellent) this is hardly an issue- it rather guarantees a certain silence (that we did enjoy). It is still very close to the SignalBahn e.g. - the breakfast buffet is simply excellent! - staff is very very friendly!
Cons: - the check-in process seemed more cumbersome than in hotels of the next lower category. This may be due to an extra effort, for the extra star, for an extra customized welcome!? (we felt a bit like small children being taken by the hand, but other guests may totally appreciate that layer of special customer focus) - our Internet access did not work as advertised (room number + checkin name) during the entire stay, so for every device that we wanted to add we had to see the reception again for them to enter a voucher code as workaround. One morning the access wouldn't work at all- apparently due to a server outage (due to weather conditions!?)

Wanted to make a cup of tea with milk in our kitchenette, but for black teas or milk we were told we had to order room service. We bought our own milk and tea. Despite having a cooktop, we could not use it as we were not allowed any pots or pans in the room. Rather made the kitchenette superfluous.

Pros: The hotel is located in Sankt Moritz Bad, which is about 25 minutes walk from the main village. Yet the area around the hotel is quite busy. The bus stop and the Signal gondola station are both a few minutes walk from the hotel. Cross county ski tracks start in front of the hotel. The breakfast is abundant, with several choices of eggs and pancakes which they cook on demand. Free access to the Ovavera spa is a real treat, we visited it every other day to recover after skiing. You can buy a ski pass at the reception for only 38CHF per day. The duration should be the same as your stay, but even if you do not plan to ski every day, that’s still a bargain compared to the price one has to pay at the ski lifts. A big supermarket is on the way to the main village, about 15 minutes walk. We had dinner at the hotel once, the food was good quality, but nothing to write home about. The staff is very helpful. Fresh fruit and Nespresso capsules were replenished every day. The bed is very comfortable, but the down duvets are too warm for me. We were given an upgrade for a bigger room at no charge

Rooms were serviced twice daily and staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Cons: The ski room is quite small, there’re no personal lockers. On the last day someone stole my boyfriend’s plastic slippers from the ski room. Free parking places around the hotel are very few, but there’s a public parking on the side and the hotel can provide a garage for 20CHF per day

The lady in charge of spa area explained to us attractive activities of St moritz and she even accede to our request to open the jaguzzi area for us at 6am. It was supposed to open at 9am. I as an Asian was not allowed to sit in the area where white people sit and instructed to sit with a group of other Asian tourist groups.. I was very shocked and disappointed with such mistreatment at the Switzerland where is known for the human welfare policy. My first visit to Switalzerland was unforgettable with this bad experience.

She told me that it was not a good idea, that we should go on the mountain. I told her that it was not in our plans, but she insisted. Then we left our luggages in the lobby, and she told us again that we should go to the mountains!! I lost patience and told her that we DON'T want to go there. We came back after our hike, and our 2 luggages we in the lobby, totally unattended. Very unprofessional!!! Honestly, I have never seen a staff member being so rude. Please, do your job well and keep your useless advices for you!!!

The staff were friendly and helpful from the first contact to the last. Also, the location was near the centre of town but just far enough away for a good night's sleep. We stayed for more than two nights so the hotel provided us with passes for all cable cars and local transport during our stay. We walked and explored the area thanks to this pass-a truly amazing experience!

The staff were excellent and gave us a room upgrade which meant we had a wonderful view of the lake. We woke to an unexpected heavy snowfall which meant it was impossible to walk down to the station so we asked about a shuttle like everyone else and it was no problem to get everyone down ( there was a payment which we didn’t mind as it saved us trying to organise a taxi) It is a very traditional hotel with a lovely old world ambience.

Breakfast was outstanding - easily the best of our entire trip. Not in the center of St. Moritz, but short easy walk to the lake. My wife and I enjoyed the ~1 mile walk to downtown along the scenic lake, but you can take the very convenient bus as well (and to other points of interest nearby).

It’s true that the hotel seems to cater to groups of older people-but the good thing about this is it allows them to offer a wider selection at the buffets than if it were a smaller hotel. It is not a luxury hotel but not an economy one either.It’s great option for a well priced ,mid -level hotel where everything works well.

Pros: The Europa is well located for a mountain biking trip to St Moritz as the Signal lift is a short pedal away and one of the flow trails finishes just above the hotel. Our room was clean and tidy, service generally was very good and we enjoyed the food and views from the pizzeria on the seventh floor. There is secure storage for mountain bikes and a bike wash in the car park. The hotel provides free lift passes for bike riders, you only need to pay a relatively small fee for your bike each day.

Cons: Good breakfast, for a one day stay. If you stay more than that it gets boring. The pool area is nice but the ‘turkish’ sauna was just nasty. Definitely needs updating. There was water provided but no clean cups - there were 4 ikea children cups.

Cons: Smell in the room and big stains on the carpet. It seems like somebody smoke before. Women toilets not working on the pool area with only 2 toilets, outdated. Sauna area one level down from swimming pool, need a lot of improvement.

Cons: Champfer (where the hotel is located) is very quiet with no facilities although there is a free bus around the area.

Cons: This hotel was built in the 1960s and is in serious need of renovation and modernization in every aspect. Their elevator does not even have a memory unit and its size is very small to carry humans with luggage. The lighting in the room is poor and there is only one wall electrical plug! The room should have at least 4 wall electrical plugs that are easily seen, found, and are accessible. Also, they have to modernize the locking systems of the doors of the rooms so that you can use a card with a magnetic strip instead the archaic huge and very heavy metal key they now give you for your room that you cannot even put it in the pockets of your coat or trouser.

Pros: The location was okay for us, bus stop is very near from hotel. Hotel receptionist was nice and friendly. We requested a free pass and she gave us a free pass to diavolezza. Breakfast was provided. St moritz is a nice and quiet place to stay. We thought we book early and hotel price was cheaper, but later found out that hotel price is even cheaper on the day of arrival. Overall pleasant stay, no complaints.

Pros: The breakfast was copious and good. The rooms are pretty basic and you share a bathroom with another room. So if you need 2 rooms, no problem. Otherwise, you’re sharing with strangers. But for us, that turned out fine. I think I’d rather that than sharing a bathroom with a whole floor of rooms. (You can still lock your room.) It was a very decent place to stay for a good price in expensive St. Moritz.
