Pros: It is a luxury hotel by all means. The hotel is in excellent condition. Very good, friendly and even personal service. Excellent breakfast. The concierge service is very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The staff tries to be always at your service. Some times like in breakfast the staff is a bit "too close" to you.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast choices and service. Overall atmosphere and location, if you want calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Food served in the lobby restaurant, don;t remember the name could be better. Ordered club sandwich was bit surpised as the toast was literally black ( burned). Did not complain, which i should have anyhow, but now i did. As you don't expect this quality. Even the wagyu burger was served with hardly any dressing ...
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Without doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is a breakfast to be enjoyed - I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and this is without doubt the best breakfast I have ever had! The facilities and staff are excellent, and in particular the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are no extra charges for lift passes, bikes (electric & normal), tennis courts etc. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I will hopefully return again - this hotel sets the benchmark that other hotels need to strive to achieve. Excellent.
Cons: Leaving - I wanted to stay longer:)

Pros: Good location, because close proximity to nature and out of town. Better than staying in St.Moritz downtown. Also they have a good outdoor jacuzzi in their spa center.
Cons: Food could be better for what they are asking. Little overpriced.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location above St Moritz. Fantastic food! Recommend booking dinner! Great spa! Comfortable bed. In the Summer if you stay 2 nights of more you get a pass for al trains, buses, cable cars in the Engadin valley - fantastic value for money !
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The views are amazing. Fantastic cheese Fondue at their restaurant.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location is outside of center city but good for hiking. In general, this is a good hotel with no pretensions of being a great one. The staff was very helpful in terms of where to sight see and where to hike. The food quality matched the facility quality. Views from the room were very nice.
Cons: Our rooms were not in the main building and we had to lug luggage forty yards up a small hill and then upstairs in the hotel (no elevator). The showers are small, floor level and curtained, so there is potential to get water all over the bathroom floor, until you learn how to control the shower head and your minute, constrained maneuverings. The room price for St. Moritz was pleasantly surprising and therefore the hotel was good value for the money. Because of that value, we would willingly stay here again, despite the shortcomings.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and good personnel, speaks fluently several languages. Beautiful building, spacially, clean, modern. Restaurant is nice, food and breakfast are good. Bedroom is sober but nice and clean. Window views from room and restaurant are stunning!

Pros: Excellent breakfast, featuring lots of local products. Very comfy and awesome wellness facilities.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The rooms are very old fashioned! Especially the bathroom. The location isn't as good as it sounds. I'd not go back.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Service was very personal and focused on meeting each and every guest requirements. Free shuttles to outside restaurants / bars / shops in the hotel Bentley is a very cool touch!
Cons: Bedding alternatives would be great (ie soft mattress covers and / or pillow options
7,5 Good
Pros: View, lobby was comfortable, staff was good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit to the Carlton but pure luxury and service - love the location and views of St Moritz and the lake ... although the price is on the higher side ~ we felt we received up and beyond the highest level of service and amenities!! Top notch ... would love to go back!!
6,3 Good
Pros: The building is beautiful and the interior matching the atmosphere
Cons: I would say staff need to be equally attentive to customers who are not “famous”. Also, when we arrived the bathroom in our suite was not spotlessly clean as we found hair in the shower. Receptionist didn’t really seem to bother. Unacceptable for any hotel, not to mention in that kind of establishment. In general, if you are not a famous billionaire and you can still easily afford to stay in a place like this, choose a different one.

Pros: Nicely designed hotel, smart and convenient design of the rooms (apparently, the smallest rooms are not too spacious, but if you can afford staying in the larger room, it pays you back). the staff is friendly and helpful and tries to make your stay perfect. tasty breakfasts, inventive cuisine in Hide&Seek (we missed visiting Ecco, since it was still the beginning of the season and it was closed).
Cons: there were two single beds instead of a double one in the room, we stayed, and two separate sets of mattresses and blankets. the rest was absolutely fine

Pros: - Spa: 5 different saunas, swimming pool and separate section for ladies if desired. It was never crowded and opens until 21 in summer. - Breakfast spread: mimosas, full english, omelette station, fruits, breads, local meats and cheese, etc and a menu for eggs Benedict. Available until 11. - Room: we were upgraded to a junior suite and had a chocolate cake with a card waiting for us (it was our wedding anniversary). The room exceeded our expectations, it was spacious and comfortable, had a separate seating area, fridge, coffee making facilities, two tvs, and toilet was separate from bathroom. - Staff: everyone was really nice and helpful, very international, special thanks to Simona and Angelina. - ebikes for rent at a great price. - Concierge: he gave us really good tips to make the most of our time in St. Moritz - Tranfers: complementary transfers to and from the train station. We loved our stay and are looking forward to coming back.

Pros: Room was great. As was the breakfast!
Cons: Nothing..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: When you are a fan of Kempinski its simple.. they never fail to deliver .. This beautiful Heritage Hotel hides what all Kempinski Hotels deliver .. an experience .. and it starts from the first time you walk through the doors .. tired and excited all at once.. Now for me you can have the most beautiful wrapping but you need the heart and the blood to flow to really bring all parts of the experience together.. and that's simply the team of people that make it tick.. From door to check in to housekeeping to restaurant managers and staff.. put simply "What A Team"
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The decor was very elegant and classic. We also loved the spa area. The breakfast spread was also excellent! Pros: Great welcome. Very spacious and comfortable room. A kids club and an amazing spa. Loved the bar ambience. What else???
9,6 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived we got VIP treatment from every member of the staff. We left the car in front of the hotel and it was parked for us and was waiting for us in the same place when we left. The waiting staff were also attentive and efficient and we enjoyed a superb meal in the beautiful dining room.
Cons: Bedroom was a little cramped and although St. Moritz is located in the shore of a lake you wouldn’t know it as the hotel is in the centre of the town.

Pros: Nice breakfast and room.

9,7 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great with great staff and variety of foodstuffs, great coffee, staff was outstanding, located right across from the mountain lift and handy to a pharmacy and great restaurants.
Cons: Perfect in every way would stay there again in a heartbeat!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Hotel picked us up from the station. Local transport card was really handy. We stayed in three alpine resort areas this trip. St. Moritz is my pick of the three for ease of getting around, quality of facility. A really classy location. Clean room, very traditional Swiss style in the room and very clean. Staff at reception and hotel staff really helpful and friendly.
Cons: Breakfast not a lot of options (for a vegetarian). Not much of a view from our room but we did get to see the snow on the mountains over the surrounding roof line.

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, with great advice for hikes and skiing. The on-demand shuttle to and from the ski station was great, especially as the ski lift parking was completely full. Room was quiet and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was good but could enjoy a bit more variety, especially on the sweet side. The bathroom could be refreshed a bit, especially the lighting.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nr1 hospitality! The staff is very helpful and extremely kind. My boyfriend had his birthday and the staff helped me to surprise him: the chef baked two small delicious brownie cakes (one for me so I could also taste it) with candles and decorated it very nicely . The receptionist guy and the chef brought the cake to our room personally with a card including nice birthday wishes. We really appreciated this gift, thank you once more for organizing this! The room is large, the beds were comfortable, the view from our terrace is wonderful, just as the bathtub, they offered even eco-friendly toiletry products in the bathroom. Personalized greeting card waited for us in our room. The hotel offers you free e-bike rental, you can use an umbrella free of charge during your stay. Unfortunately we did not have time to try the wellness features, but the swimming pool and the whole wellness area looked beautiful. The breakfast was varied and substantial, they were offering home made jams as well. The waiter was very kind and we had the opportunity to choose from egg dishes as well. The receptionist girl was very kind to help us to find a shop which is open after 10:00PM to buy some food and answered patiently all our questions. She even allowed us to leave our car in the parking area of the hotel after checking out while we are making a last hike in the mountains. The receptionist guy helped us to make a reservation via the hotel's phone for a horse carriage departing from Pontresina (tip: horse carriage takes you from Pontresina train station via Val Roseg to Roseg hotel (7km) which is a really romantic and beautiful ride. From here you can hike to Lej de vadret (5km) which is breathtaking, in the background you can see the amazing Roseggletscher or if you have enough time and energy you can hike to Coazhütte or Tschiervahütte.

Pros: Clean, good comfortable furnishings and fittings. Efficient shuttle service. Artentive staff.
Cons: Only a very small detail: the display and computer system on the rowing machine in the gym did not work. Hence I could not use it properly..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very caring and friendly. Unfortunately we arrived late and had to leave early so didn’t get to enjoy the facilities.
Cons: They asked for a booking voucher, but there wasn’t one to give them. Eventually they settled for the booking confirmation email.
5,8 Okay
Cons: Racial discrimination--They have separated the breakfast dining area and have people segregated by race. I as an Asian was not allowed to sit in the area where white people sit and instructed to sit with a group of other Asian tourist groups.. I was very shocked and disappointed with such mistreatment at the Switzerland where is known for the human welfare policy. My first visit to Switalzerland was unforgettable with this bad experience.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good communications and information pre-arrival. The hotel helped arrange a taxi from the train station as I was arriving late. Without luggage, it would have been a short easy walk via escalators and lifts uphill from train station to hotel. Good location. My room was fairly big with a large bed with comfortable bedding, a little seating area, loads of storage, and a big bathroom. I had a nice view from the room. Good amenities and toiletries in the room, including a nice fluffy robe and slippers. Really nice breakfast selection. I stopped in the hotel bar both nights of my stay - reasonably priced drinks and friendly bartender staff.
Cons: I wish I had more time in St. Moritz as I did not have a chance to take advantage of the spa facilities in the hotel during my staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gotten free upgrade rooms. The staffs were very attentive. Excellent service. The lady in charge of spa area explained to us attractive activities of St moritz and she even accede to our request to open the jaguzzi area for us at 6am. It was supposed to open at 9am. We made such request at about 8pm the day before. The view from spa area was awesome. It was facing St moritz lake and mountain. Breakfast was OK. Free shuttle from train station.

Cons: Pillows too soft

Pros: The staffs were very friendly and kind to us. He explained about hotel in the detailed manner when we checked-in so that we could know facility, service and so on of the hotel. They provided transportation service for the timing of check-in and check-out respectively for us, and it was very helpful for us.
Cons: If the room had originally electric kettle that would have been great for us, though we understand there has been not much need from customers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful and so accommodating! Upgraded our room for free and let us have a late checkout to use the spa facilities. Great breakfast and transfer service!

Pros: Amazing place. Great amenities. Lots to do around. Polite staff. Picture perfect setting. Wished had spent more time at the property. Will love to come back again.
Cons: Cant think of something like that.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the family rooms with balcony and the view of Alps and the garden outside, very stylish and comfortable. Perfect for family bonding.
Cons: Location was bit inaccessible so had to take cabs and spend around 20euro per trip but was worth it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally clean place. Everywhere was immaculate. Staff were very accommodating, the room was fabulous...the view spectacular. Overall wonderful place to stay and very quiet. Food decent price for Switzerland.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but a kettle could have been ordered from reception. A large bottle of water and some chocolates were in the room upon arrival though.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay here for 1 night. We booked a family room and had a panoramic view of the mountains and the lake. Wonderful way to wake up in the morning! The room itself was a very good size and the beds were comfortable. The hotel feels very high end and the equivalent of a 4 or 5 star elsewhere (reflecting St Moritz clientele I suspect) The breakfast at the restaurant was very varied and of a high standard. We also had dinner here and the food was excellent. We were able to use the hotels free shuttle service to travel back and forth to the train station. This was very helpful. The hotel has a playground for children which my 8 and 4 year old loved! I was able to watch them whilst drinking coffee and reading on the terrace. The setting of the hotel is stunning. You will not tire of looking out to the mountains!
Cons: It’s too strong to say I didn’t like this but just something for others to bear in mind - the spa facilities are only available from the afternoon and children can only access them for limited hours. We arrived at 7:30pm and left the next day at 1pm so didn’t get to use these. Not a big deal for us especially as the mountain scenery is very calming and relaxing too!

Pros: Before coming to st. Moritz we though that Hotel San Gian would be a great option for its location. Not exactly in the centre but so close to it. After being in Hotel San Gian, we are absolutely overwhelmed of the staff, the restaurant team, laundry service... absolutely great.
Cons: I cannot tell anything negative of our trip in hotel San Gian. It was absolutely fantastic.

Pros: Beautiful decor in this small and chic hotel. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast including made to order eggs Florentine. Yum. Close to everything...walking distance to several wonderful restaurants, Lake Moritz for a great walking trail and an AMAZING spa across the street.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, up to date facility with a wonderful room, thoughtful touches like fruit and teas, and an amazing bathroom! This bathroom had a flat screen TV installed in the wall at the foot of the bathtub! It also had an electric bide seat, and a heated towel bar. The one wall facing the bedroom was all glass, but one of the power buttons on the wall made it cloudy so you couldn't see into it if you wanted privacy. We ate dinner there one evening. It was excellent. Breakfast as included with our room. Not only was it the fruits, breads, meats, cheeses, sweets that are customary in Europe, they also offer to make you many types of eggs or pancakes. Also included was access to the Ovaverva Spa within close walking distance to the hotel. If that wasn't enough, also included were cards to use the cable cars and funiculars free of charge. The staff was wonderful throughout the whole hotel. We were there in off-season so hotel price was about half of what it is in-season, which is Dec-March. St. Moritz is a beautiful area. Stunning views of the snow covered Alps. So much more than we expected.

Pros: Good location, clean room, spa facilities
Cons: Small sized room

Pros: Arrrived on the Glacier Express from Zermatt. Taxi to the hotel cost 15CHF. There are several restaurants a short walk away. The breakfast buffet was excellent, served in a very gracious dining room with chandeliers overlooking the lake. Unfortunately it was very misty in the morning so the view was not spectacular as it would be on a sunny morning.
Cons: Met our expectations. If you like very modern hotels and furniture this is probably not for you!
7,5 Good
Pros: Old and interesting
Cons: It’s far
5,0 Okay
Pros: Room was clean and well sized for a Swiss room. Location was central to the city.
Cons: We stayed off season so much of the amenities were not available. We were hoping to eat at the restaurant. We had also noted that my husband is vegan when booking and although they did have soya milk - the musliex options were full of extra sugar so there wasn’t much besides toast, nuts and seeds for breakfast for him
8,3 Excellent
Pros: very spacious room, extremely good location only 2' from the centre, breakfast included with lots of choice, clean, parking on site
Cons: the bar in the hotel allows smoking
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice and classy hotel.
Cons: We walked from train station and it was quite a walk with luggage.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The perfect hotel and view ;)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious. The view from the room is beautiful.
Cons: Instructions not clear on how to get to the hotel. We ended up at the other side of the hotel and have to backtrack to the entrance at the top.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location had a beautiful view of the lake. The breakfast was good, and we ate there for dinner as well. The restaurant has great Italian food. There is a shuttle that you can purchase to take you to the train station which is recommended since St. Moritz is so steep. Nice room and staff.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: The only thing which was not perfect regarding comfort was the small pillow. But when I asked the staff, they helped very friendly and I got another one, therefore also it was also perfect!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Views of lake were great. Breakfast offered variety. Restaurant staff were excellent.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a family run hotel. The people are AMAZING. During our stay we had some problems. All were handled professionally and kindly. The room we chose did not meet our expectations as the promised view was not really there... Rather than upgrade to a much more expensive room, we chose to downgrade to a very nice superior double. The price was almost the same but we were happier. The hotel restaurants were very good. We had some lunch at one of them and dinner (which was excellent) in the Chinese restaurant they opened for the season.
Cons: My biggest disappointment was the lack of a gym in the hotel. They have an agreement with a gym somewhere outside the hotel which made it impossible for me to go. It was cold and icy, the gym opened only at 9am (it was Saturday) so I ended up waiting to get to our next destination to walk. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, not a vegetable in sight (except some tomato with the mozzarella salad).
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great services, right in the city center
Cons: Some of the staff in the restaurant serving at the tables were somehow rude, unfriendly - not a very good attitude towards the client
7,1 Good
Pros: Location and the breakfast view
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The duvet was too hot, as usual for alpine resorts..and the room was a bit too warm with the heating turned right off. Lovely to have good size bath tub, but the plug was leaking so the water level was forever dropping. Over all I loved my stay and would love to go back soon!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the cleanliness of the room. It felt recently renovated. Also, the bathroom was really nice with the rainfall showerhead.
Cons: We didn't like that there was no carpet because our dog hates hardwood floors.

Pros: Very clean and cozy room, multiple shared WCs which made it so easy, no waiting. Comfortable beds, clean cozy bedding, there was a sink in the room, space was bigger than many of the European rooms we stayed in on our trip. Quiet, nice neighborhood - we felt confident to walk at night to a local restaurant. What a great stay - incredible hosts - Lin went above and beyond, even driving us to the train station when it was pouring rain (she saved us lots of $$- taxis are expensive here!). Breakfast was AMAZING - so much delicious food, we could have sat at the table and talked with our host all morning. Wish our stay had been longer - we would definitely come back here again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in studio house, House is clean and nice interior design, everything needed what you wanted.
Cons: This house has no lifts, we had to drag heavy luggage bags to 3 floors.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very cozy and the bed super comfy. The facilities match the standards of a good BnB. The staff was very friendly. All in all a great value for the money.
Cons: The wifi was not very reliable and had to reconnect a few times.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice big rooms. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds
Cons: Off St. Moritz. You need the car for everything. We were there after season was over so no options for dinner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in very quiet place, approximately 5-10 minutes from center of St Moritz. The view is fabulous. The lobby is very cozy, with fireplace and piano, books and bar. The wellness center was also very helpful after heavy rain on Maloja pass :) we enjoyed it a lot (sauna, jacuzzi and a swimming pool) - simple, but very well organized and quiet.
Cons: Kindle a fireplace regardless of the number of guests in the hotel :)
7,9 Good
Pros: Card to take public transport and cable car for free was a big plus!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Provide Gold Card for free bus, cable car and train transportation.
Cons: 90/100
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are very spacious. Sauna, spa and many other activities are there. All operation when we visited this property. My family enjoyed a lot.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. The only thing which one can consider is it's location when booking this property. If travelling with own car then you don't have to think anything else. If travelling by public transport, then frequency is very less from train station and you might have to change buses multiple times.
7,5 Good
Pros: view from the diningroom was spectacular, pool area was bonus
Cons: No kettle in the room, and our room was in the older section , not modern part of the hotel. no view from the room
