7,5 Good
Pros: Bed was comfy, just lower height wise than expected and wasn’t a memory foam mattress so when I moved my partner felt me moving. The ac unit in the bedroom was noise than the unit in the living area. An overall pleasant stay.
Cons: Bed not being higher and non memory foam and the noisy ac unit in the bedroom
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Beautiful clean rooms. Wonderful hotel staff! Will definitively stay here again!
7,9 Good
Pros: Front desk person, proximity to airport, bedroom bed, breakfast selections, shuttle.
Cons: A/C was strange...either freezing or too warm, could not regulate it. The pullout couch/bed was not very comfortable. Closet door needed repair. Tub drain was a little scummy. Although this sounds like a big complaint, it’s not—small things!
4,0 Okay
Cons: funky smell of the room. Not worth the $$$ Continental part of breakfast was ok, hot buffet - eggs were horrible. this was one of the reason we picked this hotel because it included breakfast, but unfortunately we had to go out and pay for breakfast.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was just wonderful
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast!
Cons: We tried to use the TV in the workout room and even with staff help it didn’t work. When we tried to print boarding passes in the business center there was no internet.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, breakfast, size of room
Cons: Wish breakfast lasted til 10 everyday and wish the pool were larger and there were a variety of exercise machinesr
7,1 Good
Pros: We had to leave before breakfast, our daughter was having surgery that morning. The hotel was fine. The bed was too firm for me, so I didn't get much sleep and was in a good bit of pain that day. Not your fault, I have some back issues, but a mattress that's too firm to allow spinal alignment while lying on one's side seems like an odd choice for a hotel.
Cons: The bed was too firm for me, so I didn't get much sleep and was in a good bit of pain that day. Not your fault, I have some back issues, but a mattress that's too firm to allow spinal alignment while lying on one's side seems like an odd choice for a hotel. It would be great if there was a way to communicate ahead of time, or to have a choice of mattress types.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included and delicious with multiple choices to eat.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The suites and the pool
Cons: Nope
4,0 Okay
Pros: location and cleanliness
Cons: the housekeeping refused to show up after requesting for a cleanup after a toilet leak and the maintenance guy had to show up after repeating requests
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was updated and very comfortable and spacious. Having the mini kitchen was very helpful. The free breakfast was decent. Convenient location to many nearby towns and a lot of shopping and food nearby.
Cons: Honestly the only negative I have is the hair dryer they have in the rooms is old and barely works. That's the only negative I can think of.

Pros: Every detail thoughtfully planned. Can you imagine warm bathroom floors and lighting at your feet so you can see about even at night?!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Lighthouse Suites is a beautiful, clean and provide everything for your stay!! No need to bring beach chairs or towels as they have them accessible for your in every room. This is the second time I've stayed and will absolutely do so again!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was so clean and proximity to the beach
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We could not have been more pleased with this unit. We had a one bedroom with full kitchen and living room. The space was more than adequate for the two of us. The unit had all new cooking appliances and washer/dryer. The bed was adequate, but not all beds are as comfortable as your own. A king size bed would have been a great offering in this unit. The view and the closeness to the ocean was perfect. A short stroll thru the dunes and we were on the beach. Being September, it felt as if the beach belonged to us. Perfect
Cons: The only thing that both my husband and I did not like was the stroll thru the dunes to get to the beach. Most days we walked barefoot and the deteriorating mat hurt our feet, but it was easier to walk on that than the soft and deep sand that was a bit of a struggle for us to keep our balance. this was such a minor struggle that I even hate to mention it. The younger generation will have no issues with this.

Pros: We really loved the eclectic decor (previous owners of the house were artists). The location is a quiet residential area with beautiful old houses but within walking distance of restaurants, museums and shops. The breakfast was also good.

Cons: Stairs
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The overall experience was very pleasant and the unique creativity of decor much appreciated!
Cons: The breakfast experience was a little confusing, leaving guests unsure about food selections and the Inn’s morning routine. Most of our past Inn stays had someone greeting us and explaining the process etc.
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice.
Cons: When the reservation was made we wanted to be close to commercial st and was told it was a short walk. It was a long walk. Also said free on site parking. Didn't say it only accommodates three cars. Said there was a hot breakfast made to order but no one ever approached us about breakfast so we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast.

Pros: My wife and I were celebrating our 2 year wedding anniversary by coming to Portland to see our favorite band play live at the venue Aura. Conveniently located within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay. Location is next to all things shopping and eating related in Portland.
Cons: The only option for overnight parking is valet. I just wasnt aware of it prior to arrival.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s location, very central, helpful friendly staff, good sized room and amenities.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable. The fitness center was great. We ate two meals on site (breakfast) and it was excellent food and service. The staff members were all very friendly and the location was in walking distance to great restaurants and other places of interest.
Cons: By the time tax, valet parking, and tips were factored in, the price rose noticeably. This was not unexpected as it is the norm for hotels, flights, and travel in general. This is in no way a complaint - just a fact.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The style, amenities, and atmosphere were incredible! It was a very relaxing stay.
Cons: I wish I could have coffee served in my room but loved the k-pod recycling station!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located..updated nicely
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great- the valet attendants were very professional (and the parking was actually cheaper than the city parking garages) and the front desk staff were very helpful. They even had a complimentary car service! You also can't beat the location of the hotel- a minute walk and you're surrounded by beautiful shops and restaurants!
Cons: Our room was near the elevator and the pantry- due to the proximity of those two things, it was pretty loud throughout the night. There was a sign next to the pantry encouraging people to be quiet but I'm not sure that advice was taken. While the wooden floors were beautiful, I don't think they did a lot to muffle noise when people walked to their rooms in the middle of the night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to the historic downtown area, close to plenty of restaurants, bars, the wharfs, and many many cute shops. Hotel was spotlessly clean and for the price, the room far exceeded my expectations.
Cons: I truly have no complaints. The pillows were a bit hard? Check-in was at 4:00 which I felt was a bit later than necessary given that check-out was at at 11am?

Pros: Location was great
Cons: No
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was good, all of the pillows were down which I am allergic to. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Unfortunately, I tried to make myself a cup of coffee in the room using the provided coffee maker and creamer's and when I tried to drink it it was rancid. I really expect more out of a Hilton .
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Room was very spacious and comfortable.
Cons: Would have liked larger variety on dinner menu OR suggestions for other restaurants in the area that perhaps deal with delivery service. Couch had some large stains that were a little "univiting". I spilled water filling coffee pot and grabbed towel to clean. The towel was black from under/behind coffee pot. I wiped down the whole counter (and in the vanity area). Appears no one moves things when they clean.

7,1 Good
Pros: Chachterful building around 15 minutes walk from historic centre. Well decorated comfortable room, very good bed.
Cons: Breakfast was frankly awful especially for a hotel at this price. Negligible cereal options, no bread or toast out, only hot option was frittata which wasn’t ready. Asked for toast and then found no jams etc. These are just basics which even budget hotels manage to get right. Car park a bit messy with bins and no clear marking. Entrance not lit at night.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was small and quaint
Cons: There isn’t t enough parking for all 9 guests
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so kind! Loved the space and breakfast!
6,0 Good
Pros: Staff was very pleasant
Cons: Carpet was worn. Needs some updating
5,4 Okay
Pros: Spacious room. We stayed in the West End Suite - the grand piano in the room was pretty cool. Cookies / cakes in the afternoon and coffee and tea available all day was nice.
Cons: Our room needed a thorough clean - there was a used tissue under the bed which we found when we arrived. The bath didn’t drain and when we lifted the plug it was completely clogged with hair. We asked for our room to be deep cleaned but the latter still wasn’t rectified (apparently they thought we had told them the sink plug was the problem one but if one asks for a deep clean surely it would be appropriate to check both?) so we ended up having to sort it ourselves. Also one of the lights in the bathroom originally didn’t work - which had to be sorted out while we were there. Whilst it is appreciated the hotel is in an old house, it was worrying that there were bare wires visible leading from the floor into the radiators. We had a baby with us who could easily have got hold of those. Also there was no hot water pressure in the bathroom sink. It was odd there were no staff on site in the evenings. It also felt like you were staying in an empty house as there was no life in the communal areas most of the time. Breakfast was a strange and somewhat limited selection.

Pros: The breakfast was great. The location was iffy but we expected that. Unable to walk to downtown from this location. Parking was free as opposed to hotels near the waterfront that charge a nightly parking fee. The entire staff was quite friendly and we felt at home here.
Cons: There is nothing we can think of that needed improvement.

Cons: Room was in poor condition, and pricing did not reflect the quality of the offering.

Pros: Beautiful place. Simple but very good breakfast. Real crockery and fresh food all topped off with complementary 24 hour hot apple cider which was surprisingly very nice. Like eating an apple pie. It has been renovated and provides a pleasant surprise when entering the foyer. We had a surprisingly good sleep considering it is on a main street.
Cons: Location is it’s only letdown.

Pros: the property was very quaint and the staff went out of their way to help accommodate my friends who needed a room change and gave me a gift certificate for 2 nights since our plans had changed and we missed our first night booked there. they were wonderful. I loved the free parking.
Cons: I wish it had been a little closer to the downtown area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was very different from most, and was a delight. It likely is not for everyone, but provides all one could ask for or need. Personnel was always helpful and courteous.
Cons: The distance from city center was the only disadvantage I found.

Pros: Great location, overnight parking offered for discounted rate right next door to hotel.
Cons: The climate in the hotel was very warm, tried to adjust the thermostat didn’t seem to help and only could open the window a very small amount.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with kitchenette, stocked with coffee. We were very kindly put on the front of the hotel as the rear looks over a construction site. The front also looks over a construction site but we could not hear noise from it. Beds are comfy. Free breakfast was lovely and well stocked. Staff on the desk were great.
Cons: Surrounded by construction. The parking is in a multi story next door which is at a discounted rate as long as you exit before 11. We struggled to unload cases in the entrance as it’s very small and people had parked in it.

Pros: Great location. Close to everywhere I wanted to be. Very nice room, comfy bed. Nice little kitchenette. Staff was very friendly. Great clean room for the price.

Pros: The hotel is in a great location. Was very clean.
Cons: The girl that checked us in was not very friendly or informative.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. The breakfast was good!
Cons: The parking garage, which Marriott contracts with and offers to guests at a discount, only worked one time (meaning my pass) in three days. I had to call each time I wanted to exit the garage which was frustrating when other cars behind me also want to get out. The garage experience should be seamless and is such a small part of my visit but would not work even after I had my original pass replaced. Also, the entry circle in front of the hotel is very small and when guests arriving don't pull-up close to the curb, other cars cannot get by. There is no signage encouraging guests to pull close to the curb while checking-in so others can also use the circle to check-in.

Cons: We were not aware that there was a $20 per night charge for parking even though there was a parking ban one of the nights
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Overall cleanliness/condition of room
Cons: The pool was far too cold for a heated indoor pool. The pool towels provided couldn't even cover my small 6 year old. Several breakfast items tasted like dish soap and when I told the attendant she did nothing about it. The toaster was also broken
7,9 Good
Pros: This hotel was in the perfect location to see everything Portland has to offer. It was super affordable for the entire group we had.
Cons: The room didn’t feel clean; there was dust on the nightstand and you could tell the pillow cases were two different colors. It just could have felt tidier. Also I specifically requested our rooms be in the same hall and the claimed to have “not gotten that request” despite speaking to staff over the phone several times in addition to a comment through booking.com.

Pros: Very clean and the woman at the desk was very friendly.
Cons: Terrible bed. Left side of bed was sunken in. The bed squeaked so much that it woke us up all night. Bed needs to be replaced. Check in was 4:00 for two rooms. Room want ready so everyone had to get ready for a function in one room. When we left at 4:30 the room still wasn’t ready.

Cons: Room not ready at check in
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff was very welcoming and greeted us with a smile EVERY TIME we came in, which I really appreciated. We got a simple one bed room because we brought our dog with us, but the room was bigger than I had expected!
Cons: We didn't use the valet service to save a few dollars each day ($20 vs $25) but I think another problem with the valet is there was very little space to accommodate even 4 cars at a time. We noticed congestion when we tried to check-in and only one valet driver (on a busy Friday) which confirmed to us that self park was the way to go. The TV in the room also had some problems with changing channels. The remote control worked fine for adjusting the volume and turning off and on, but the channel and guide buttons were unresponsive. Obviously we didn't come to Portland to watch TV so it wasn't an issue, just something they may want to fix in case a family of four wanted to let their kids watch cartoons or something.

Pros: Location was great. Also the staff we encountered were all very good and helpful.
Cons: Was a little surprised when I came back later at night and had to scan to get into the lobby but it made sense so that the night life doesnt wander in. Also, on the the 2nd day they had not cleaned the room since check in. At 5pm I asked the front desk and they called house keeping who then cleaned. Wasn't not sure why they were skipping the room.

Pros: Really liked the woman at the front desk. She was super nice, provided great dining places. She also recommended the sister B&B, as well. Just so pleasant to to have a conversation with, in general.
Cons: We didn’t like the sounds above us. It was old structure, well kept but the floors above were all hard woods. It was noisy during the day so a nap as o day was quite impossible. Luckily they have a no noise policy at night so sleeping at night was great. We had our vacation on one of the last weekends of the season and breakfast offerings were pretty whittled down.

Pros: Jessica was the front desk young lady exceed our expectations. She was awesome and very professional. She called us on the way to tell us the dining room would be closing at 8. Which was perfect because we hadnt had dinner. The dinner was delicious. Mussels and Lobster bisque. THe rooms were beautiful, I even took a bath....THe breakfast was gournent and scrumptious. Pros: The room was beautiful, excellent location just a short walk from the beach. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating.

Pros: Great value for the price. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to help. The breakfast was good. Check-in was very fast - it took just 1 minute from walking in the door to having a key, and they gave us an early checkin.
